Open Question: Tiny Orange Bugs On My Tropical Fish Tank Water Surface?
I have found large numbers of tiny orange bugs floating on top of two of my Cichlid tanks. In a 55Gallon I have a Jack Dempsey and a few Green Terrors, and in the other 30Gallon tank there are three Convicts. Both tanks have a huge number of these little bugs in the water surface and the glass above the surface. I took one of the bugs and put it under a microscope and it looked like a bug with a big antenna / horn thing sticking out of it's forehead. These bugs can hop a couple inches side to side and on top of the water.I did a little research and read some about External Parasites. While the images of the bugs didn't match, some of the descriptions were similar. Since finding the bugs, I have treated both tanks with salt, and plan to do it again very soon. These tanks seem healthy otherwise, and receive regular water changes each with their own salt. One of the female terrors just hatched a large number fry, and she has been defending them behind a rock since they hatched. None of my fish have any red spots, and they are all fat. Ever since getting the Dempsey, he has always had a sort of mucus covering him and everything around him ( his rock, tubes, etc. ). I have read that may be a symptom of some of the parasites but he seems healthy and it doesn't seem to have an affect on the other fish. Is this normal? Are there certain foods that could attract these bugs? Or are there certain Cichlid foods I should avoid all together? Both of my tanks have small plants. I also recently gave the fish some Silverside frozen fish food, is there a possibility that carried the bugs? The bugs are not on my fish. They are all above the water line, and on top of the water jumping around. (more...)

Voting Question: I need help finding the meaning of a dream!?
At some point of long dream I was standing in one corner of a 4 way street during a bright day talking with some people ( I don?t remember who ) and all of the sudden I felt like looking under my shirt and I saw that my belly bottom was cover with an extra skin I moved the skin to see behind it and inside my belly bottom (wish was huge at that moment of the dream)where some kinds of hatching worms and one big yellowish like actual worm that was like coming out of my belly because you could only see the head of the worm and it looks kind of dry or death. Once I saw that, I?d pull the worm out and it didn?t hurt or anything but I did felt and heard the cracking of it and I saw the hole in my skin after taking the worm out. In a second after, my belly bottom turn normal again but the hole from the worm was expulsing some kind of yellowish liquid and in that same second I felt some kind of shaking in my belly and the line from the belly bottom to the solar plexus area took the form of a centipedes inside my skin like if the centipedes rise up under my skin. My belly turn purple and got very round and big and It was showing a lot of blue and red veins and all of the sudden a headless black centipedes cover in a mucus like substance start coming out off my body using the same hole that was left in my belly bottom from before. I was able to saw it moving snake like with all of its legs under my skin while it was coming out of my belly bottoms until it came out completely and fall in into the floor. Once that happened I was normal again and the dream keeps going to other things but I don?t remember them. By the way during the dream I didn?t felt scare but very curious trying to figure out what was happening like if it was a puzzle. I hope somebody can help me out.
