For example i saw this answer when some one was trying to clean a beaver coat: ugh beaver?? that poor animal. u should be ashamed. the poor animal does nothing and is just living its happy beaver life when a bloodthirsty hunter comes and shoots it!!! how sad. im glad ur stupid beaver coat is ruined....serves you right!!!!!! Now - Hunters don't shoot beaver - it would ruin the pelt. Trappers carefully trap them - i for one have done this. Secondly beavers are a nuisance - they dam up streams, washout roads, flood land and clear trees near the shore which help prevent erosion. Now these animals are painlessly killed, we are not blood thirsty. I thank god for every animal i kill and i always put it to use. Now you "activists" would rather have a perfectly good pelt ruined with red paint (or crusty stuff) then actually have it put to use keeping some one warm. So go trapping for a day and visit a farm! your basing your opinions on what some one else says. I was a vegan until i went to a factory farm! - the animals are treated with care. And with my parents having a hobby farm i knew some of what PETA says is a lie like having pigs packed into trucks tightly - we need to do that so they don't slam against the side - also on meet your meat they showed laying hens crammed in a dirty cage, well if the hens are not happy they wont lay! o before you preach look at BOTH sides of the story. I'm at the moment writing a dark adult fantasy book that revolves around the real world Earth, and the Vampire outcasts. He is the syponis of my book I'm writing. Talullah, starting puberty is getting more and more aware of her severe lack of friends. She knows why; she belongs to a certain vampire family, this one being vampire outcasts, and excluded from their society. She feels humiliated by her abusive drunken father, and her fun, hairebrained mother, who's smile is being silenced by him.Talulah, lonely, seeks help of her teacher, Cyndey. Home educated and alone, Talulah questions Cyndy, and as Cyndey tells her things she knows that she is too, a vampire. But, an outcast or belonging to the real vampires Talullah can not determine. As hormones start to kick in, Tallulah feels angry at everyone and and even herself, and as a vampire, things can get worse at her age. Without her parents guidance, Tallulah sets out on a mental journey to becoming who she wants to be only to find her own inner demons. A story or friendship, love in danger and finding who you are in a time of darkness and light. Here's the first draft. Writing my tale;story by my lamplike eyes, I can mentally nod in my brain that so far my life has been full of loss, staring only for comfort into those insane, abusive eyes that forced me further to compel myself to documenting my misfortunate tales. My father, my lying father, well. A father more appropriate name would be an abusive animal, he cheated on my best friend and forced her too the woods to die and be caught by witches into an asylum. After that is just shadows, which every time and I look for more details it slips away. It?s maddening. My best friend is my mother, I loved her exceedingly. I titled my head back into the sun light, forcing me into a casual innocene that was unlike myself. Yet, in this situation, I found it easy to lie, lying back listening intently. ?You know, work at one meaningless job after another. Been in the trade, property developing, working for the endless retail units down at the mall.? ?How did you get that car.? She owned a Ferrari. ?With money.? She added bluntly. I glanced at her, she was dry and ready dressed into her teaching clothes. Yeah, so i am 14 years old and i am about ready to call it quits. I got about 2 friends and i'm so shy it makes intereacting with others extremly difficult. I don't find myself weird or anything but it seems i am quite different from all the other kids my age. I am rejected by them. Well, to build an image of me i suppose you'd need details, huh. I am 5"11 average looks with the common ol' brown eyes brown hair combination. I'm have a bigger build, nothing amazing but i have a 4 pack. As for hobbies, i work out, read and play video games. My average day goes something like this, Wake up>School>Lunch>Weight Room>School>Home>Work>Bed and repeated. Average boring life. So whaddya think? Am i pathetic or what? lol. (more...)

M&M Duel Whenever I get a package of plain M&Ms, I make it my duty to continue the strength and robustness of the candy as a species. To this end, I hold M&M duels. Taking two candies between my thumb and forefinger, I apply pressure, squeezing them together until one of them breaks and splinters. That is the "loser," and I eat the inferior one immediately. The winner gets to go another round. I have found that, in general, the brown and red M&Ms are tougher, and the newer blue ones are genetically inferior. I have hypothesized that the blue M&Ms as a race cannot survive long in the intense theater of competition that is the modern candy and snack-food world. Occasionally I will get a mutation, a candy that is misshapen, or pointier, or flatter than the rest. Almost invariably this proves to be a weakness, but on very rare occasions it gives the candy extra strength. In this way, the species continues to adapt to its environment. When I reach the end of the pack, I am left with one M&M, the strongest of the herd. Since it would make no sense to eat this one as well, I pack it neatly in an envelope and send it to M&M Mars, A Division of Mars, Inc., Hackettstown, NJ 17840-1503 U.S.A., along with a 3x5 card reading, "Please use this M&M for breeding purposes." This week they wrote back to thank me, and sent me a coupon for a free 1/2 pound bag of plain M&Ms. I consider this "grant money." I have set aside the weekend for a grand tournament. My husband works nights. He comes home anytime after 7am. From 7am to 11:45am he has the choice to sleep (which he SHOULD), or do whatever. If it is to hunt, mow the lawn or any other thing, he does. He then picks up our two kids from daycare, eats lunch and they all sleep. I work 7am-3:30pm. If I go to the gym after work, I'm home by 5:30. If I dont, I'm home by 4:15. From 4/5pm to 7pm I make supper if he didnt already, eat, clean up, pack the kids lunch for the next day, get them bathed, clothes set out for the next day, get my clothes ready and ironed for the next day. My husband gets a shower and is in bed by 7pm. After 7 I am limited to what I can do b/c of keeping quiet. Weeknights I have the kids. Weekends I have them. My husband hunts a LOT. If it isnt deer, turkey, bear, squirrel, etc. he also fishes and ice fishes. He does this from before the sun comes up to dark. If I go somewhere, I take the kids or dont go until he comes home. I dont have any hobbies, if I did, I couldnt. I love my kids and I enjoy being with them ALL the time. They are my life and I dont like to "pond" them off to family, etc. However, I'm under 35 and have very little friends. None that I go and do things with. All are single or no kids and rather go to a club or to a bar which I can never do. I have very little family and those that are close I dont trust them to have my kids overnight or alone. I would like to have a friend to do things with but I honestly dont have extra time in my very busy life to go away or out if I work full time, have two kids and my weekends are to run the arrands, groceries, etc. that they would be upset if I were to cancel or cant go out, etc. I told my husband I only have 2-3 hours a night weekdays and maybe an afternoon Sundays and dont have a hobby, plans, etc. but it is to be assumed he hunts, etc. that I am confined to home with the kids. When he comes home (tired of a full day out) he sleeps so the kids dont see him much. I get depressed that I am so young and do nothing. I work and sleep. If I could go out all the time and leave my kids with family, I wont do. I guess I'm just stressed?!? I told him it is all about him and when do I have MY time. He says what would I do? Well, I cant say for sure, if it were a sale at a store, I'd shop, if it were to just go away and do whatever myself to get a break from the stress, etc. but to him, he will tell me to go Sat. evening or Sunday, etc. and then I take the kids whereever so he can do outside work Sundays. My parents always stalk our stalkings so I figured I'd stalk theirs this year. I got two stockings (leaving 5 total more, 3 total others will be used by them) and I want to put some stuff they'll use in them. Stuff I plan on putting atm is Dads: a pack of socks Mom: 1-2 books I don't know what to put in moms or what else to put in dads. I want to put stuff you know they'll use. I already got their gifts, well, I'm getting my moms tomorrow. (I'm getting her a puzzle cause she LOVES puzzles. She'll be able to work on them as soon as her neck is better. (she had surgery on her spine from in her neck) I'm going to spend around $20 a piece in the stalkings. Everything is coming from walmart/thrift stores/hobby lobby/hastings.... My mom: Good ideas! My dad: Doesn't wear cologn, has a really nice razer, already has an ice scraper.... My dad isn't what you call a "handy man" He hates doing that kind of stuff. My dad could use a new planner, since it's the end of the year almost and he can't plan his life without it. I like the ideas, Editbee, I'll definently get my dad some pencils and pens. He's always losing his. I knew I wasn't spelling Stocking right! I couldn't figure out right, LOL. .... my parents are divorced. -.- (more...)
