Voting Question: Should I consider trading my truck in?
I own a black 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. It is a Sport/Offroad-Edition, 4 wheel drive, and it has the 5.9L v8. The truck has 115,000 miles on it. I bought this truck in July of 2007, and have put a lot of money into restoring it. Today, the truck is in immaculate condition; the paint is flawless with no dents, new tires, a brand new transmission, a very good running motor, and lots of performance/exterior goods (cold air intake, headers, flowmaster cat back exhaust, limo tint, new headlights and tail lights, new bed liner etc. etc.). The truck just finished having a new transmission installed, so obviously at this point, the truck is in the best shape it is ever going to be in. Should I consider trading this truck in for a newer truck ('05 and up?). I love my truck, but if it was a smart decision to get rid of it while it has lower mileage, and a new transmission, I would do so. Thanks for all of your opinions. (more...)

Open Question: I need a warm pair of socks..i work outdoors in -20 degree weather?
can anyone recommend a really warm pair/brand of socks, like a thermal or other variety that will keep my feet warm in like -20- -30 degree weather?? I'm a delivery driver and I'm constantly in and out of the truck, running through snow, slush....ect. Even with this pair of extreme workwear boots, apparently rated for up to -70, my feet still get a bit chilly !! any other tips for keeping my feet warmer...the boots are steel toe with a safety sole as well...something I need... should I perhaps add an extra sole liner in as well?? ANy tips or tricks you guys use to keep your feet WARM are appreciated. Thanks. (more...)

Voting Question: what do you think I should ask for my truck?
Its a 91 f150 short bed extended cab 2x4 with 111,000 miles on a 4.9 I6. It is a smooth running truck that was babied. The body is in excellent condition. It has a bed liner. Ac works, heat works, just replaced the clutch. Has a pioneer cd player and pioneer speakers. Also has captain seats and console from a bronco. Gets about 15 city and 19-20 highway. I love the truck but want a 4x4. I live in Pa by the way if it helps. (more...)

350 ci Auto, Extended cab. Black with burgandy interior, new tires, power windows, seat and door locks, cruise control. Tow package, 3.73 gears, hd shocks, tranny cooler, and box liner. Approx. 190,000 km. One owner and well Maintained. safited. Excellent tuck for $4900. Does this sound like a good deal? km's wise.. any one with experince with this type of truck.. how many km's can i expect before im putting extra maintence into it. thanks (more...)

Resolved Question: I have a 1997 Nissan D21 pickup truck and the tailgate rattles and bangs when I drive. Any solutions?
It's closed all the way but there is some play which makes rattling and banging sounds, sounds like the suspension is coming apart if I didn't know what the problem was. I don't have a bed liner in it which seemed to help my previous D21 and I'm not sure if I plan to put a liner in. Anyone had a similar issue with any truck and a suggestion on how to stop it? Resolved Question: Has anyone moved a 27 foot above ground pool, is it possible to lift the pool as a complete assembly?
I have an elderly neighbor who will give me her pool if i remove it. I have already drained and cut out the liner..It will be lifted over a 6 foot fence and placed in my yard-were next door neighbors. The move is approx. 50 feet. I have access to boom/lift trucks that will extend over the fence-for free too. I just hate to completely disassemble it for such a short move..Is this possible-anybody know? (more...)
