Open Question: School study at chineese restaurant...outstanding results?
first of all we had to find a percentage of people who were over weight...76% of people who walked through the doors on this given day were overweight.
the fried food on average was refilled 8 times before in a 5 hour period than the salad bars.
I walked around the restaurant...it was amazing how many like 250 -300lb people were eating plate after plate of fried foods.

Voting Question: What grade would you give this informative essay?
I'm in 8th grade...
This man is a basketball player who eats, sleeps and breathes the game. This basketball player is a Los Angeles Laker and devoted athlete who goes by the name of Kobe Bean Bryant.
Kobe Bryant was born on August 23, 1978 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His parents Joe and Pam named him after the famous beef, in Kobe, Japan; the idea popped into their head after looking at a restaurant menu. His father, Joe, was a professional basketball player. His career took him to different countries all around the amazing world (answers.com/topic/kobe-bryant). Kobe pretty much grew up in Italy where his father played basketball. You can imagine where he got his inspiration and great interest for basketball from considering his old man wore a jersey.
By the time Kobe was three, he was already telling people he was going to participate in the NBA. His favorite player was Magic Johnson, a point guard, in a power forwards body (Basketball: A History of Hoops). Bryant admired his flashy ways and skills. He right then and there in Houston decided that the Lakers were his new favorite professional team. This is why he rightfully refused to join any team besides the Los Angeles Lakers.
Kobe Bryant became really engaged in his father?s basketball career. He rarely, if ever, missed a game. Entertaing fans by shooting some hoops at his father?s games was something this boy loved to do. During the games, he would carefully observe his dad?s moves and then after words, try to mimic them (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kobe_Bryant ). Maybe this is how he learned his wicked awesome moves.
Traveling to different places, like Europe, Italy, and various locations in the United States of America, had its ups and downs. He practically knew basketball like the back of his hand from experiencing soo many games. Kobe also could speak different languages pretty well. After living a few months in Italy, he was fluent in speaking the language. On the flipside, even though he was an A and B student, Kobe struggled to relate to other classmates. As, a result of being in a different country, Bryant didn?t know much of the slang the scholars used. He would just nod and walk away instead of communicating (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kobe_Bryant).
This young star?s success quickly progressed. As a junior, he averaged 31 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists. That year he was honored with the Pennsylvania Player of the Year title. In the four years he attended high school he scored 2,883 points! Academics were not about to stall Kobe, after all he did receive outstanding scores on his SAT. An All Star was something Bryant strongly dreamt of becoming (sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3118). After his outstanding year, major colleges from all over were definitely considering him. As shocking as it is, Kobe just decided to go straight into the NBA without college.
Kobe was traded with player, Vlade Divac, and then he began to play for the Lakers instead of the Charlotte Hornets (kobebryantlive.com). He was ecstatic, not only was he playing for his favorite team, but he was also excited that there was a handful of talent on the team besides him. The Los Angeles Lakers were convinced that Kobe would help them to success. They figured if Bryant was the son of a previous basketball player he would most likely leave the other rookies in his dust, and the crowds in awe. Kobe had been around basketball his whole life ever since he was a little munchkin. Surely having him on the team could and would only lead to success.
There were many highlights in Kobe Bryant?s first season. He was the NBA?s youngest starter in history. He was eighteen years, five months, and five days old. He also set a record of thirty-one points in a rookie game and Kobe won the Nestle Crunch Slam Dunk Contest. He impressed the judges with passing the ball between his legs and throwing down a ferocious, rim-shaking windmill jam, which scored a nearly perfect 49 points. No other Laker had achieved this type of challenge (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kobe_Bryant). Kobe?s fist signature shoe line came out this year as well. KB8 is what it became known as.
Bryant?s career consists of many other outstanding accomplishments. Like for instance, being a NBA Champion. This was exactly the case from 2000-03. He was rewarded with the NBA?s MVP award this year (2008), as well as two other years in the past. Kobe was an all time scoring champ in the years of 2006-07. This awesomely amazing athlete has been an All Star 10 times! WHOO! He has also been plainly a regular season leader throughout these longgggg years of his career. For 10 consecutive years he has raised the bar for points scored in a season records or amount of points scored in a game. Fantastic is what this youthful dreaming boy has become over the years.
Kobe is almost thirty now and still living his dreams. He completed his education; there aren?t any major weaknesses in his basketball skills. He can basically do whatever

Resolved Question: my cousin always blows us off to play pokemon in his basement?
the other day my cousin (boris T) and I went to this store to buy beans. we invited my cousin, we'll just call him Larry, to go. but he declined. a few days later we went out to eat indian food, at an outstanding restaurant called the Raj Mahal. we invited him to go but he declined this time as well. its not like he was doing anything, he was just sitting at his house both times. how can we get him to be more active. this is his myspace, feel free to add him as a friend, comment him, read his blogs, etc. but dont watch the videos on his myspace, they suck.

Resolved Question: Would this be considered a Hit and Run? Accident? Nothing?
The other night I met up with some old friends at a local restaurant to catch up. When I left the restaurant and got into my car which is very high off the ground and has poor sight lines. Honestly, if the car hit a pothole I would literally not notice, and I wouldn't feel anything because it has outstanding suspension and a great overall build. So, I started backing up in the parking lot. I immediately noticed a car coming, so I stopped to give right-away. The other driver stopped as well and stood for several seconds. I then began to move and crept backwards at a very slow pace. I looked all around and made sure I was clear, which I was so I drove off.
A few minutes later my friend, who was about 10 feet away from the incident sitting in his car calls me and says "Did you hit that other car?" I answered very puzzled: "No I did not, Why?". "Well he just pulled over, got out of his car, and looked all around his car like you had hit him. He seemed really pissed, are you sure you didn't hit him?" "Yes! I'm positive, otherwise I would've saw/heard something. And I would've gotten out to confront him." I then asked him if he saw the other driver take my plate number. He said no, he didn't think he got my plate number unless he had an outstanding memory. I then asked him to respond honestly if he saw me hit the guy, in which he said "No, I was 10 feet away and didn't hear/see anything remotely close to an accident. But right after you left he got out immediately and looked at his car really pissed off" I then told my friend that I wanted to go back and see if I had in fact hit him and he said "No, he already left because he was getting back into his car by the time I was leaving the parking lot." I decided to just forget about it and continue home.
I proceeded home as normal, no one followed me or anything (which I would expect if I did in fact hit the man). I came home and immediately told my father who said that he'd look at my car in the morning to assess the situation better. He has owned a body shop for 15 years and has dealt with his fair share of cars in accidents, so he is probably most knowledgeable if there was in fact an accident.
The next morning, we went out to my car and there was absolutely no damage whatsoever. No scruff marks, paint marks, dirt marks, nothing. There's no evidence whatsoever to show that I hit the guy's car. My dad said not to worry and that nothing happened, because there's no possible way you made any contact.
I'm a very nervous person by character, so I can't help but get extremely worried that I'll come home one day to hear a phone message saying "this is the police, we have a police report of a hit and run involving yourself, you are required to turn yourself in." OR come home and find the police at my door. Do I have anything to worry about? Do you think I can be charged with hit and run in anyway shape or form? Is there any other things I may have overlooked? If it helps, I live in Illinois so you've got a little better understanding of how the law works.
Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You so much.

Resolved Question: How to cook tilapia (fish). Need advice.?
I was thinking of using this recipe for the sauce:
http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/White-Wine-and-Garlic-Dream-Cream/Detail.aspx
I plan on baking the tilapia in the oven. Not sure how hot or long to set the oven. Should I bake the tilapia with some of this sauce on top of it or bake it by itself or with something else and then just add the sauce afterwards.
I am going to try this sauce because I had a tilapia w/ a thick white wine sauce at a restaurant once and it was outstanding. So Id like to try it myself. A
Any pointers or tips is very much welcomed. Thanks

Voting Question: Where can I make a complaint about my EX-Employer?
I was treated very badly by a company that I used to work for. I finally found another job and left them, but I do not want to leave it as that.
They still have not paid me any of my outstanding sick leave or holiday pay, even though I left more than 3 months ago.
When I still worked for them I was forced to remove my nose piercing, while everyone else was allowed to keep it. The reason for this was that i was not Indian and it therefor did not count as a religious symbol. How rude? Just because I am not Indian, I can not be Hindu? Also, I was not allowed to smoke, even on my lunch break. When they saw us smoking at the restaurant, we got in trouble. That can not be legal! (Plain Clothes) We also had to stay back when it was busy, without pay. That can not be legal as either, can it? What can I do? Is there anything that I can do? I do not want them to continuously treat people like that.
Thanks for any help
And maybe I should also mention that we are not talking some small place. It's a very BIG well known Australian Company, with well more than 500 Employees.
Regarding the piercing: I was employed WITH THAT PIERCING 2 years ago. No problem for two years, and then I should remove it? I said that I was Hindu like everyone else, but they said that I was not, because I am white. Are yous telling me that is legal?

Resolved Question: Is it customary to tip at restaurants in Britain?
My English in-laws are visiting my husband and me in the States, and to my dismay they tip very little (if anything) when we go out to eat. We have received outstanding service every time. The last time we went out they paid in cash, and the waitress asked if they needed any change. They said they did not, and she said "thank you very much!" (I'm sure she assumed the tip was included). I caught her offended look when she discovered they had given her the precise amount. It seems like they just don't realise tipping is customary in the U.S., but I have spent a lot of time in England, and I thought it was normal there as well. I've thought about contributing the tip myself, but I don't want to offend them...and so far I haven't had an opportunity to "sneak" some extra money onto the table. I feel bad for the waitresses because they work hard for their tips.
Eating out in the US is at least half as expensive as in the UK (it's much cheaper to begin with, and just factor in the exchange rate). Also, our waiters and waitresses are paid a lower wage than other workers in anticipation of the tips they will receive. As I mentioned, the service has been outstanding.
As an example: The four of us ate a nice lunch that came to $31-something. I believe they gave the waitress $32 plus the exact change.

Resolved Question: How Do I Learn The Strip Club Or Club Business ONLINE?
I know online forums and websites exist serving the communities of:
(a) strip club fans
(b) strippers aka exotic dancers
and
(c) the business end of clubs and restaurants for owners and managers (non strip club).
These three things are all separate and independent of each other, They have no cross-over nor should they. Each has parts that as a whole would be what I need to find. But as they are, they do NOT address or share the issues and information I need to explore.
I am hoping an online community exists for managers and owners of strip clubs as I am considering joining this industry as a strip club manager. If hired, I will have gotten the job due to outstanding accomplishments not related to strip club managment. I have no "hands-on" experience as a strip club manager and may need to know a lot, quickly.
Any insight or suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks!

Resolved Question: What are the BEST culinary institutes?
im looking for a Culinary school where i can get my associates of culinary arts and a degree in restaurant management. i would prefer that the school be somewhere in southern california, or near the los angeles area
ive heard some absolutely TERRIBLE reviews about the California School of Culinary Arts and other branches of the Le Cordon Bleu school...i hear its a bs waste of money, is this true?
also, i havent heard very good reviews about the Art Institutes. (Art Institute of California: Hollywood). are these bad comments geared towards the culinary branch or the other areas of educationat this school?
If you have any first hand experience or know of anyone who does then i would LOVE to know what you think? or if you know any other school that have great culinary arts programs, near southern CA, then id love to hear about those too.
im really stressig out because im begining to think that there is no hope for an outstanding education of the culinary arts in the US.
thanks lots.
