Resolved Question: want to rearrange my room?
so i'm getting bored with the look of my room. but i don't want to repaint or anything major. i have a day bed (twin sized) with a bed side table then a corner makeup desk and a computer desk. my room is average sized. my closet is a walk in on the right side of my door. directly across from my door is a 3 panelled window. and to the right of the widow is my bedside table. right beside the table to the right is my bed against the wall. but not underneath the window. Then on the other side in the far left corner is a corner makeup desk. then on the wall across from the one my bed is on, is a rectangular computer desk. if you can make out what my room kind of looks like please help. i just want to rearrange my room! Resolved Question: Anyone tried Wisdom Panel MX dog dna breed tests?
I have been reading a lot about the Wisdom Panel MX dog dna breed test. It is supposed to use a blood sample (better than cheek swab, i know that for a fact) and it can usually tell you the breed makeup of our mutts, usually pretty accurate. I am just checking to see if anyone on here has tried this brand, or any brand for that matter, and what their results were. Thanks. Resolved Question: 21st June wedding...................BAD LUCK!?
My wedding is 21st June, I've finished with most things but hurt my back in Feb and put on a dress size from not moving! So now my dress is tight and uncomfortable, seams have been dropped and panel at back moved, but it doesn't feel like the same dress anymore. We've had SO much bad luck. If it wasn't for people booking hotels for the wedding etc, I would have postponed it. My HTB is having problems with work (he's self employed), my wedding ring doesn't even fit anymore, I now have a burst blood vessell in one eye from all the stress. I wish I could turn back time. My bridesmaid pulled out and left me with the cost of the dress, the other one's dress didn't fit and I've ordered a new one (had to pay more too), My makeup artist cancelled on me yesterday so now i'm looking for a new one. I'm just hoping and praying it doesn't rain on the day cos it's a garden wedding. Is it just me or do I have bad luck?? Well, I was a UK size 16 and hoping to be a 14 for the wedding. I am now an 18 :-( so can't just walk in to Debenhams and pick up a white dress in my size. my wedding dress cost a lot of money and I have paid for everything and have a personaised cartoon caracter cake topper also, so can't change dress........Plus, It really is a lovely dress. Just not too lovely on me. Yep, always have been quite unlucky, I do try to think positively but it never quite works. I've been VERY lucky in finding my HTB though. My bridesmaids paid for their dresses themselves, but one I paid for (she was due to pay me back as she didn't have the money at the time), dropped out and we don't speak now as I asked her for the money............long story. Then, my sister's dress was too small, I had to pay a £50 charge for a new one..........felt bad asking her for the money cos it wasn't her fault and she's already paid out enough. I just want some good luck for once! It's all going wrong My dress has already been re-sized, but doesn't feel the same. I'm sure it'll all work out but I just wondered if there was anyone else out there that had as much bad luck and it all worked out ok in the end. I'm a big believer in bad omens :-s (more...)

Resolved Question: Do you think the jury system is fair?
I don't see the point in having juries. They are random people with no knowledge of the law, and the lawyers basically have the power to remove anyone who demonstrates an ability to think independently. The jury pool is so big that lawyers can manipulate the racial, gender and demographic makeup of the jury in order to suit their client. I think that just having a panel of 3 judges decide each case would be much more fair. What are your thoughts? Not to mention the fact that most people on jury duty don't even want to be there and aren't likely to have a positive attitude during the process. (more...)
