Broadway, My Way
The people who felt betrayed when Linda Eder covered several pop songs on 2002's Gold will be relieved that her follow-up, Broadway My Way, is a return to the Great White Way. As if to prove that she isn't limited to either the songs of Frank Wildhorn or ballads, Eder tackles some well-known show tunes. The ballads tend to be overwrought, so it's best to look for the uptempo numbers. The singer's take on "Some People" is technically fine but so va-va-voom showbiz that it lacks the deranged edge that makes the song so compellingly dramatic. Things work a lot better on "I Am What I Am": while Eder doesn't take it to the top (or rather over the top), this is as close as she gets to Mermanizing a number. Elsewhere, "Don't Rain on My Parade" (immortalized by Streisand) and "Man of La Mancha" are appropriately brassy and triumphant, with Eder roaring her way through both songs. Fans of both Eder and Wildhorn should note that the singer reprises her Svengali's "Gold," the title track from her previous album, and an excerpt from his long-in-the-works Camille Claudel. --Elisabeth Vincentelli

Open Question: Gold Coast: Which parks on which days?
We are going to visit Dreamworld, Sea World, Whitewater World and Wet'n'Wild World over 4 consecutive days at the end of Jan.
We are going on Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun.
End of the school holidays and will be crowded I'm sure. Particularly on the weekends maybe?
Does anyone have a suggestion as to which park we should visit on which day? My son is young so we won't need to line up for the big waterslide rides at the waterpark.
Also - is it better to get the bus in from Surfers, or drive and park?
Thanks much!
I have been to Movie World and it is too boring for my 6yo ... and for me. We are going to 2 waterparks because it will be HOT ... most likely ... while we are there.

Open Question: 32 and never dated, is it to late?
Hi everyone.
I've been really really depressed lately. I'm 32 now and I have this problem called never having a girlfriend and still being a virgin and loosing every friend I ever thought I had as a result of it.
I feel so jelous and pissed off every time I go out and see young couples smooching and holding hands! Or yet some high school punk in his beat up honda with a coffee can muffler cruising around with some hot girl! I just want to yank his *** up and beat the **** out of him and say what makes you better then me! I know that's the wrong additude to have but 20 years of being told that your not good looking enough to be boyfriend material has broken my give a damm!!!! From middle school thru high school to co workers, to friends, friends of friends, to blind dates to online dating so on and so forth for over the past 15 years I always got the same rejection over my looks. I've always thrived to be a good person and treat others as I would like to be treated. I've always offered my complete and total friendship to anyone that needs or wants it, and it has all back fired on me. I can't get thru a day without wondering how my life would be today if I had meet someone 10 or 15 years ago. And I can't lay to rest thoughts of the good times and sweet memories I should have of my youth with someone special that isn't there but only the memories of how I was always told I wasn't cute, good looking, or attractive enough! But every pretty boy Tom Dick and Harry treated them like **** and they loved them just because they was pretty boys!!!! It's hard for me to even look at the guy in the mirror every morning knowing that I've never even been accepted to go on one single date, never been kissed, never had a warm hug and hearing words like I love you. NOTHING!
The differance from me and people that wants to kill themselves is that most people have to try to think of ligit reasons to do it. I have to try and think of one reason not to. People I used to consider friends have nothing to do with me anymore because of this and how I don't get ***** everyday like they do. I've been called every name in the book and a new book started. Gay, queer, even pedofile because I've always had a warm spot for kids and used to dream of the day I became a father and the fact that I've never had a women in my life people judged me totaly wrong. Two summers ago I was living in Nashville Tn where I was training to be a railroad engineer. At the same time I was working on one of my car restorations of a 1987 Trans Am. I had just got the paint and graphic work done and was going to drive it back to my home town of Kingsport to let everyone see it. I called up Brian and Mike that was old high school friends and told them I was comming in. They made plans to meet me at circuit city. They made big jokes of my black and gold TA with the big eagle on the hood and ask who are you suposed to be Burt Reynolds? I just laughed about that but I didn't know they had set me up to get me in the store and away from my car so they could have there way with it. They knew how much time, work, and money I had in this thing and what it ment to me and the paint job wasn't a week old. They took red spray paint and painted the words *** boy, queer, and painted a big dick over the bird on the hood. They recorded the whole time on cam making slurs about me and what a looser I am being a virgin and never had a GF! When I came out and seen my car I feel to my knees and threw up right there in the parking lot, I was so weak at the knees I could not stand! I've since lost all faith in people and the future. I feel I'm already dead it's just my body still walks around empty with no sole.
Just to answer some questions, I'm not fat I still weigh 147 as I did when I graduated high school. I've always been active and come from a slinder family. I'm 5 foot 10 blue eyes and light brownish hair kinda like Tom Cruise's style. As for ways I've tryed to be the cool cat thru the years, I studied music, voice and guitar thru my early teens and was lead guitarist in a rock band in high school. Took 4 years auto machanics and got into restoring classic muscle cars all thru my 20s as I still some what do. I built a 1972 plymouth duster that I used to drag race and won placks and trophies with before it was stolen in spring 2004 and found striped out 3 months latter in Virgina. Total loss there. I've since went back to college and am now an engineer for CSX railroad.
Would you say my window of opportunity has long since shut at this point of my life????
And could someone please tell me where I went wrong and what I have done to deserve this????
Just if you wanna see some pics.

Open Question: Is there a better girl out there??? im 20.?
My last girlfriend was a theif and a golddigger... is there anyone better? or all girls the same? i met this girl which at first i thought was a really pretty and nice girl... as i always knew girls can be sorta a gold digger or a little expensive... well first we were supose to go to a concert.. i knew i was going to pay for her ticket, but she asked me to pay for her friends, and first i thought no, but i decided to anyways cause i really liked her.. the concert was supose to be in nov, costing 230.. but she said it was actually in dec 14.. so i was like ok.. then in dec she said we should go to disneyland i thought it would be a nice way for a couple to start out in christmas time.. ends up stalling each day we were supose to go! and eventually said the tickets were lost.. i gave her over 200 dollars to give to her friends to buy the tickets, and for a pitch in for hotel... then the concert comes, and she ignores me the whole day of the concert... i asked what happend she said i didnt call her... i sorta told her i suspected her of being a theif.. she said no way.. so we kept talking.. eventually we went to a motel, and fooled around, that night i was missing over 300 dollars.. i was like what the heck.. i called an confronted her but she said she didnt take anything, i told her i knew how much i had... she kept denying it.. she did say however another night at the motel would be a good idea to finish what we started, i thought that could be fine considering i didnt mind so.. end up being she stole another 300 or so again!!! by the 2nd time i told her it was over, and that i couldnt believe it.. she begged for a third chance, even though i kept saying no and no... eventually thought she would change, i thought a date wouldnt hurt...so we had dinner, then ending up messing around in the back seats of my car... she told me to pull down my pants i sure did.. we tryed going to different locations for privacy.. i went to liqour store for condoms... we parked and took care of business.. took her to "no longer apartment however had to talk to manager" ... i was waiting then i noticed my phone was gone.. i thought maybe it couldve fell in liqour or a spot we were at... checked everything, got home.. messaged her on myspace she said she had it...so next day we met a motel so i can get my phone and also hang out... she told me her friend was gonna bring the phone to the motel.. i was like ok sorta thought that was weird... i was parked around the motel( which she said the motel was 140), as she said her friend brought the phone, she walked to go get it and said not to leave.. i called her from my moms cell ... she said her dad came to the motel and starting fake crying as it sounded.. i said so what the hell is up with my phone, and then she cryed and hung up... next day online she told me to fuck off, and doesnt know who has my phone now... i guess thats what i got for a third chance.. wow
i feel real down, and sorta think that all girls may just be about money ... any advice out there? im 20 years old..
p.s name was just made idk why.. but im not a xbox game geek or anything...

Boston Bar, like other towns is located along the Fraser Canyon, between Lytton and Spuzzum. It started to be civilized because of the gold found in the area. Many of the gold scavengers were Americans, and because of this, the Aboriginals called them ?Boston Men?. Therefore, they named the town Boston Bar. One of the spectacular sights in British Columbia, the Hell?s Gate is in Boston Bar. Some other famous attractions in Boston Bar are the Alexandra lodge, old Alexandra Suspension Bridge, Emory Creek Provincial Park and the Stein Valley Heritage Park. The population of Boston Bar is no more than one thousand. It is 890. There are small businesses in Boston Bar like spas, computer servicing, education, employment agencies, shopping centers, lawyers, growers, estheticians, and hairstylists. Boston Bar is one of British Columbia?s amazing historic cities and will discover lots in there.
