Open Question: RECIPE TRANSLATION NEEDED from english to spanish! ?
can someone translate or tell me the recipe in spanish on : HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES! step 1 : Gather the Ingredients - 12 oz. good-quality semisweet or dark chocolate (either a bar, chocolate melting wafers or chocolate chips) - 2 Tbsp. butter -1 quart fresh strawberries You will also need a baking sheet, waxed paper and a microwave-safe bowl. Step 2: Line a baking sheet with waxed paper. This will give you a place to put your chocolate covered strawberries while they cool and harden. Step 3: Wash your strawberries, and dry them completely with a paper towel. This will make it easier for the chocolate to cling to the berries. DO NOT CUT OF THE STEM. step 4: Use a sharp paring knife to CHOP THE CHOCOLATE, placing your other hand on top of the knife as you chop to keep the chocolate pieces from scattering. step 5: Place the chocolate pieces in a microwave-safe bowl. Top with the butter. Heat in the microwave on 50% power for 1 minute. Stir. Continue heating in 30-second increments, if necessary, until the chocolate is melted. step 6: Holding a strawberry by the stem, carefully dip in the warm chocolate, coating almost completely. The berries look best when you can see a hint of red near the stem. step 7: Place the strawberries on the waxed paper-lined baking sheet. Let them cool until you're finished dipping all of the berries. Then transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator to let the chocolate-covered strawberries cool completely. When the chocolate is completely hardened, the berries are ready to eat. PLEASE & THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION. i am willing to give away as much amount of points you want as long as you thoroughly translate it for me. i prefer someone who speaks spanish fluently rather than online translation cause i can do that myself :) THANKS. Resolved Question: Can I or can't I bring liquids onboard a plane in carry on luggage?
I'm flying to the UK next week and I want to take hand lotion and perfume in my carry on luggage and my boyfriend wants to take cologne. I'm trying to figure out if that's allowed, but the TSA website has this page about a 3-1-1 rule and it says I can bring a 3 ounce bottle or less, 1 quart sized clear plastic zip bag and 1 per person. But then it says that it's only for shorter trips... so does that mean I can't do that for an international flight? Also, am I allowed to take carry on luggage into an airport bathroom? I have a connection and the flight to get to the connecting airport is almost as long as the flight to the UK so I want to change into different clothes. Will I be allowed to do that or would security stop me from taking the bag into the bathrooms? (more...)

Resolved Question: Have you. Ever been. Accused. Of being crazy?
A Story, Part1. It was almost dark, and I held the last cigarette to my lips and spun my car into the vacant lot where Blackie was supposed to meet me. I lit up and reached for the fifth of Jack that rested half empty under the seat. I took a long, hot gulp and waited. I talked to Blackie twice on the phone that night, and both conversations left me feeling like I?d been kicked in the guts. This guy was a real sicko. He said he?d been in the business for 15 years, and that I could depend on him to come through for me. I couldn?t believe what I had gotten myself into, but when you have a reputation as the best Private Dick on the streets, you get yourself tied up into some real bad stuff. They don?t call me Uncle Dirty for nothing. After 2 hours and an empty fifth, Blackie slow-rolled into the lot. He was driving a broken down mini-van that had piss green curtains hanging from each window. He killed the engine and flicked his lights once. I flicked mine. I flicked them again. It was dark now, but you could still see the bright green curtains hanging, mostly closed. Something moved. I flicked again, this time leaving them on for a few seconds. There was a small face peering out from between the curtains. The face looked scared, like a rat in a cage. Then another face appeared, then another. Blackie got out of the van and walked around to the side, smacking his fist up against the window. The faces disappeared at once, and Blackie laughed an evil laugh that carried through the dark like shards of glass. I shut of my El Camino and stared ahead, wondering what the hell to do next. When I got out of the car I could really feel the whiskey kicking in. That fifth felt like a quart and I leaned on the Camino to steady myself. I shook my head to clear the cobwebs and that?s when I saw Blackie coming at me. I turned just in time to duck the swooping right hand but he brought his knee up square into my stomach and I dropped. Then I heard that laugh again. Then the Leprechauns were on me like flies, punching and kicking, pulling hair and spitting. One of the little basstards even bit me in the balls. I was through, finished, and I knew it so I just covered up and waited for the little green monsters to stop. Eventually I lost my will and the blackness took over. I woke up naked with a blood-soaked towel wrapped around my groin. My hands were bound together with rope and I was sitting up against the back tire of the van. Blackie was kneeling beside me grinning, his crap-breath covering my face. He whispered, ?Howdy, Uncle Dirty. Wanna party? We got all night long, boy?? I kicked at him and missed. One of the Leprechauns smacked me across the face with a bag full of round balls. They felt soft, like one of those stress balls you squeeze, instead of punching someone. Then one of the balls fell out and I thought I recognized it. I immediately looked down at my crotch and that?s when Blackie ripped away the towel with a laugh and I felt myself passing out again.... That damn comma shall be removed. ;) (more...)

Voting Question: Christians?????? ?
Do you think the four horse men are here.just listen to the prophecy's in revelations. and i looked and behold a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow and a crown was given to him and he went out conquering and to conquer. Another horse fiery red went out and it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth and that people should kill one another and there was given to him a great sword. Come and see So i looked and behold a black horse and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And i heard a voice in the mist of the four living creatures saying A quart of wheat for a denarius and three quarts of barley for a denarius and do mot harm the oil and the wine. So i looked and behold a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death and Hades followed with him.And power was given to them over fourth of the earth to kill with sword with hunger with death and by the beasts of the earth. witch horse men do you think we are on. Resolved Question: Analyze the tone in George Eliots Adam Bede Selection?
Supposedly tone changes three times (different within each paragraph) ... I have no idea what Eliot is trying to say? Or most importantly, her tone? Falsehood is so easy, truth so difficult. The pencil is conscious of a delightful facility in drawing a griffin--the longer the claws, and the larger the wings, the better; but that marvellous facility which we mistook for genius is apt to forsake us when we want to draw a real unexaggerated lion. Examine your words well, and you will find that even when you have no motive to be false, it is a very hard thing to say the exact truth, even about your own immediate feelings--much harder than to say something fine about them which is NOT the exact truth. It is for this rare, precious quality of truthfulness that I delight in many Dutch paintings, which lofty-minded people despise. I find a source of delicious sympathy in these faithful pictures of a monotonous homely existence, which has been the fate of so many more among my fellow-mortals than a life of pomp or of absolute indigence, of tragic suffering or of world-stirring actions. I turn, without shrinking, from cloud-borne angels, from prophets, sibyls, and heroic warriors, to an old woman bending over her flower-pot, or eating her solitary dinner, while the noonday light, softened perhaps by a screen of leaves, falls on her mob-cap, and just touches the rim of her spinning-wheel, and her stone jug, and all those cheap common things which are the precious necessaries of life to her--or I turn to that village wedding, kept between four brown walls, where an awkward bridegroom opens the dance with a high-shouldered, broad-faced bride, while elderly and middle-aged friends look on, with very irregular noses and lips, and probably with quart-pots in their hands, but with an expression of unmistakable contentment and goodwill. "Foh!" says my idealistic friend, "what vulgar details! What good is there in taking all these pains to give an exact likeness of old women and clowns? What a low phase of life! What clumsy, ugly people!" But bless us, things may be lovable that are not altogether handsome, I hope? I am not at all sure that the majority of the human race have not been ugly, and even among those "lords of their kind," the British, squat figures, ill-shapen nostrils, and dingy complexions are not startling exceptions. Yet there is a great deal of family love amongst us. I have a friend or two whose class of features is such that the Apollo curl on the summit of their brows would be decidedly trying; yet to my certain knowledge tender hearts have beaten for them, and their miniatures--flattering, but still not lovely--are kissed in secret by motherly lips. I have seen many an excellent matron, who could have never in her best days have been handsome, and yet she had a packet of yellow love-letters in a private drawer, and sweet children showered kisses on her sallow cheeks. And I believe there have been plenty of young heroes, of middle stature and feeble beards, who have felt quite sure they could never love anything more insignificant than a Diana, and yet have found themselves in middle life happily settled with a wife who waddles. Yes! Thank God; human feeling is like the mighty rivers that bless the earth: it does not wait for beauty--it flows with resistless force and brings beauty with it. (more...)

Resolved Question: How Much Do I Feed My Horse?
Recently we have been feeding two flakes of alfalfa hay in the morning and two flakes of alfalfa hay at night. Well where I board the boarders have go feed (Provide there own feed) and muck, etc. Anyway we have no place to keep hay so we have been buying one or two bales and sticking in front of our stall. For the past few days we have had people start to steal our hay and don't know how to stop it. We can't rent out another stall because they are all taken. Anyway so we have decided to switch to pellets because we can keep the bag in our car and it would not be a big deal. Anyway he is currently around 14 hands and is a little on the thin side. (We only had him for one week) We want to feed him timothy/alfalfa mixed pellets would that be good for him? If so how much should we feed how many pounds/quarts a day. I would say he is around 1000 pounds maybe less. Also on feeding I would like an idea how to carefully switch. Like i said its timothy alfalfa mixed and he is eating straight alfalfa. Tonight I was not sure so I gave him 1 1/2 flakes of hay and a handful of pellets. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks (more...)

Resolved Question: Here we go again, which one is better?
1...A man was crawling through a desert and soon he approached a table where a man was selling neckties! Oh my goodness, do you have any water? The salesman replied to him that ?I am sorry because I don?t have any water with me but I could sell you a neck tie?. The crawling man again whispered ?Necktie? But I need water!? Again the salesman said ?There are only four dollars a piece?. The man replied ?I need water?. ?Okay two for just seven dollars?. The thirsty man exclaimed ?Please I need water?. Well the tie salesman said, even though you will not buy a tie I will tell you what to do, just go in that direction for about a mile and you will run into a very nice restaurant. Gee thanks he says and off he goes. About an hour later the man comes crawling back to the tie salesman. The salesman says, didn?t you follow my directions and find the restaurant? Oh, I found the restaurant alright, but they would not let me in without a tie! #2......Lady walks into an ice cream parlor on a hot day. "I'd like a gallon of chocolate ice cream", she says. "I'm sorry ma'am, but we've had a run on chocolate in this weather and we just ran out. We've got 30 other flavours, so please pick one of them." replied the clerk. "Oh well, I guess I'll just have a quart of chocolate then." "Ma'am, perhaps you didn't hear me. We are completely out of chocolate ice cream, but I'll be happy to sell you another flavour." "Oh. Better make it just a pint of chocolate then." The clerk has had enough at this point and asks, "Listen, lady, spell the 'VAN' in 'vanilla'." The lady is puzzled, but replies "V-A-N". "OK, now spell the 'STRAW' in 'strawberry'. he says. She slowly replies, "S-T-R-A-W", still not sure what he's up to. "OK, now spell the "****" in 'chocolate'." She looks at him and says, "There's no '****' in chocolate!' He shouts back, "That's what I'm tryin to tell you, lady!" #3......Shakey went to a psychiatrist. "Doc," he said, "I've got trouble. Every time I get into bed, I think there's somebody under it. I get under the bed, I think there's somebody on top of it. Top, under, top, under. "you gotta help me, I'm going crazy!" "Just put yourself in my hands for two years," said the shrink. "Come to me three times a week, and I'll cure your fears." "How much do you charge?" "A hundred dollars per visit." "I'll sleep on it," said Shakey. Six months later the doctor met Shakey on the street. "Why didn't you ever come to see me again?" asked the psychiatrist. "For a hundred buck's a visit? A bartender cured me for ten dollars." "Is that so! How?" "He told me to cut the legs off the bed!" Happy Halloween everyone... (more...)
