Resolved Question: "Leaving my boyfriend" dream?
Ok, so I had a dream about a year ago. I was flying over land and arrived to a rectangular building that had the top right of it all crumbly and I flew in. The crumbly part was above some stairs leading to the interior of a public school where what I assumed was my principle, my real mother and my imaginary boyfriend, waiting for me. (This part is a bit jumbled but here goes..) Then the principle and my mother went into the elevator and said that they would leave me and my bf alone together for a moment. I then discovered that my mom and I were going to Colorado or something and that we probably wouldn't see each other again. Then we kissed and said goodbye (me, probably crying) and I woke up. I sort of remember his face and definitely his hair.. it was black with blonde on the top. I really felt a strong connection with him. I also had a feeling that his name was Chris. Resolved Question: Camp Hale, Colorado Remains, What did I see?
Sorry, I was snowmobling so i don't have a picture. The concrete structure was a one story high, approx. 100 yds long by 15-20 ft. wide and had 12 in by 8 in. rectangular openings about every 10 - 12 ft at about chest height. The opposite side was covered with drifted snow so I don't know what that side looked like. This was early march so I don't know how much of it was covered with snow. There was open land on each for hundreds of yards. I believe it's orientation was north-south but as we were whited-out I can't say for certain. Resolved Question: I need ideas for a Privacy Screen / Wind Break that has to be 180 feet long.?
Yes 180 feet. I just bought a home with an acre of land. Its rectangular shape roughly 180 feet by 210. The the right side and entire back yard has what I believe to Colorado Blue Spruce which acts as a privacy screen. However the entire left side of the our land which runs about 210ft has a home that has a boat, motor home and about 5 cars and looks terrible. I want to block the the sight as quickly as possible. I've thought about plant a lot of blue spruce's or norway spruce's along that side but I learned it takes almost 7 years to grow 6 feet from a 2 year seedling. I've thought about Thuja green giants but it would cost alot and not sure how it would hold up against the snow with what i've read about them breaking. I've thought about privets (Ligustrum amurense) and just letting them grow and never triming but i can't seem to find how long it takes to mature or any other plant for that matter. The front yard also has 4 spruces about 20 feet high like the ones in the back yard. thx (more...)

Resolved Question: How much shorter is Colorado's north border than its south border?
Despite how it appears on the map, Colorado is not rectangular: it's east and west borders are determined by lines of longitude which converge at the north pole (they get closer to each other as they go farther north). Thus, Colorado's northern border must be shorter in length than its southern border. But I have not been able to find anything to say exactly how much shorter (and I must admit, I do not have the math skills to figure it out myself). Does anyone know about this? (more...)

Resolved Question: How much for gunite inground pool in Denver colorado?
We have a small back yard, appx 30 x 50 and would like to put in a small gunite pool, (not retangular). Had a guy out to look, and he quoted us for a 20x40 (which I don't want, way too big and rectangular) $79,000. From what I'm reading on line, this seemed way out of line?? Am I wrong?? This was just for pool to 6' deep and 2' concrete decking around it... (more...)
