Voting Question: do you agree with me? take a look i think you will be suprised?
Words of a sad man, philosolophers how can one possibly define that? I will sum it up in one sentence talkers. To many, these people have been revered as the great thinkers of our time. There have been classes revolving around words these ?great thinkers? of our time have said. How much do we really know about these men? If they were soo right then why is it that Michael Jackson can?t be with a 10 year old boy? Why are we so set in this archaic vision of how the world should be run? Why do we as people sit and idealize the past? I know from where I?m standing that these talkers are not of my time. My time is full of corrupt men in an office that dictates war, finances, peace, resolve, or whatever bullshit they can shill at the time. These are the same men that probably could quote one of these talkers on the spot if presented the opportunity. They have become the great thinkers of my time. They will be revered in history books that my great, great grandchildren read. The thought of this makes me ill. If you don?t think so grab your history book. This institution that we as a collective have bought into is appalling. Our founding fathers had it right the first time. But the greed of man has taken its toll on the American constitution. Which has been revised and basicly rewritten? To form loop holes for backstabbing men with a sense of power that has been brought on by money that I might add is on loan to the United States government. We bought bullshit. A politician who went to Harvard and learned to talk fancy, and tell a story of how his father was a working class citizen, and how he struggled to get to where he is today. Your struggle was to get backing from some company that needs a very powerful man to help sway the people into paying outrageous prices for gas, or supporting a war that sends into recession or potentially a depression. While the average hard working American struggles the elected officials fly around on private jets and stay in a five diamond hotel because their hard work of kissing someone?s ass really takes a toll. They have all lied to you. Finding an honest politician is like finding a pink blueberry. They look for catch phrases like ?change?. What is that? Are you going to get rid of the Federal Reserve? are you going to take that seat in office and arrest these truly corrupt men that have lied to mass amounts of American people in order to receive a check that is paid for on money that is on loan? What the fuck are you actually going to do. I?ll tell you what?s going to transpire more talk from Washington. More bull shit shilling, it doesn?t matter who we put in office we are too far gone. It saddens me to look at what this country has become. Now back to my opening statement talkers. They go down in history with a filter. Ask your parent about a relative that you honestly know little about and see what comes up, will it be positive like this man freed slaves, or negative like this man was at the epicenter of Watergate. Only broad strokes are what we get. I have seen this happen twice in my life. A man stands on a podium in front of mass amounts of American people around the United States and lies. Then when all is forgotten he is forgiven for his wrong doings and put on a pedestal for what he accomplished while in office. Where is the connection you ask? They talk and get mass amounts of people to believe in what they say. Sometimes they say outstanding refreshing things that shock and amaze, but what action was taken on their part? What did the do aside from write or say things that sounded sooo smart and enticing? They followed lust. Be it for power or the love of a handsome young man that they admired from afar. I am sick of getting spoon fed lies from corrupt men. And I attach that to philosophers as well because in my time sleeping with a teenage boy while in adulthood is against the law and very immoral in my eyes and I think a lot of people would concede my point. If we don?t learn from the history that we have seen with our own eyes then we are bound to repeat it. My eyes are open and my mind learning. Give it some thought a talker going in a different direction. Wesley Kade Harris 2:21 am December 21, 2008 Silt, Colorado (more...)

Resolved Question: Will the American voting public get scr*wed again this year?
Here is an excerpt from an article on entitled "Experts Warn of Nov. 4 Voting Meltdowns" (http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20081015/pl_politico/14580;_ylt=AsHRsnRRNu1aROX8HP6D9acGw_IE) on Yahoo! News today: "But despite eight years of federal and state efforts to create a more standardized, higher-tech national framework for election administration, most state votes will still be administered by county election boards whose competence and equipment vary wildly." The article discusses the real possibility that there will be serious vote tallying problems this year AGAIN, particularly since voter turnout may be unprecedented and a lot of smaller voting venues may lack the capability of dealing with the onslaught of new voters. It also predicts Florida and Ohio may be problem areas AGAIN with the addition of Colorado this time around. Do any other Americans other than myself feel RIPPED OFF that after 8 years of "trying" to fix the polling problem in this country, there's STILL a high probability the process will "melt down" again in some areas just as in 2000 and 2004, including non-Presidential elections that have taken place during this period? With all the damned money our government wastes on wars that are fought in the wrong places for the wrong reasons, and all the supposed technological superiority this country has, when it comes to military weaponry, etc., shouldn' t it actually be a CRIMINAL MATTER that the most important choice any American can be asked to make...voting for the leader of our country...is still a hit-or-miss affair that for some strange reason can't be resolved? How long does the American voting public have to put up with this garbage? We are not some third world country (yet) where you expect this kind of crap to happen...this is supposed to be one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world. Does this totally infuriate anybody else besides me? I also think it's totally reprehensible that because of all the flaws in the system, we aren't even guaranteed of knowing who the next President of our country is going to be until days or in the case of recent elections, weeks after the actual day on which we place our votes. That's just totally wrong as far as I'm concerned. "THEY HAVE TRIED TO BE ABLE TO ELECTRONICLY FIX THE ELECTION." Yeah, I hear that... (more...)

Resolved Question: As I always say. Kiss the SEC's butt?
No. 21 ranked Vanderbilt beats a horrible South Carolina team and gets in the top 25. Colorado beats a not as horrible West Virginia team and stays out. Why? Poll voters always kiss the SEC's ass. It's not fair to other conference's such as the Big 12 this year. An SEC team will make it into the National Championship game with one loss over a Big 12 team with one loss. Only because of poll voters. I hate it. It makes college football a mockery because they tried to resolve human error with the BCS. Still there are errors. Anyone else agree. If you state that the SEC is the best you better argue more than the last two national champs have come from there. Because if you are using history, history says Big 12. I was waiting for someone like you to type Nola born. I especially like how you mentioned LSU and Auburn. Auburn barely beats Mississippi St. last week 3-2. That right there tells you how Auburn is. Then this week it takes LSU all game to finally win against a team they should've crushed. Auburn sucks. Missouri is the 2nd best team in the Big 12. They would beat anyone in the SEC besides Florida, especially your bayou bengals. Kinda shows how much you watch college football, only listing OU and Texas. I also like how you didn't list Florida (the best and only great team in the SEC) as one of the league's best. I asked if anyone used that argument to prove a point. You really didn't prove anything. And another one. I love it. Shows how tough the SEC is. Mississippi state is 1-3 with losses to Lousiana Tech and Georgia Tech. I quote. "Shows how tough the SEC is". Louisiana Tech lost to Kansas 29-0, maybe you meant it shows how tough the Big 12 is. Tennessee lost to UCLA, who let me say lost to BYU 59-0 and Arizona. "Shows how tough the SEC is". Arkansas is so good they lost to Alabama 49-14. Don't mention their name please. Kentucky sneaks by MIDDLE TENNESSEE 20-14. A team ranked #1 in the nation PRE-SEASON (only because of pollsters being biase) has already fallen to #3 because of horrible play. I predict they lose to Alabama. South Carolina has 2 wins. Wofford and NC State who hadn't scored a TD since November of last year until this weekend. I asked you for proof, it was a displeasure for me to read your comments that provided no evidence only biase. Please add some more comments only add some proof. (more...)
