My story is somehow strange? it began about nine months ago (March 2008). I was limerent then on another boy (whom I?m gonna call him Huss). I was not happy with him. Although it seemed a reciprocated love , I have always felt that it?s only me who react to him. I passed through very difficult days. Huss was leaving me up to 15 days or more without calling, texting or asking about me. He was even hinting of having another girlfriend...I was jealous, anxious, wary and every negative feeling. The result was seeking a replacement to transfer my feelings. Thus, I would forget Huss more easily... I did. The most suitable guy for that was Al, a waiter working in a restaurant near my workplace (50 meter away). He is a great potential LO? I had known him six months or more before that. He always gave me beautiful hot flirting looks? I?ve chosen this guy because I was seeing some kind of interest in me. So I expected him to react right away easily. But I discovered he would never initiate. The drug has been changed into a serious disease. Although I was planning to forget all about my new LO as soon as I?m sure that all me feelings towards ex-LO are dead, the disaster was that I couldn?t dislodge my feelings of love towards Al. I found myself stalking him; feeling sad when didn?t receive a sign of reciprocation from him. So, I gave up and decided to follow my heart. I tried my best to attract him but the result was even worse. Even these beautiful hot looks disappeared when he began to feel my attachment to him. Yes he was smiling but it is the type of smile waiters give usually to costumers ? sometimes I meet him by coincidence in the way and I receive the same looks. Of course you are asking (why doesn?t she simply go into NC?). Yes, I have gone into a NC (which means not going the restaurant where he works). I felt a sort of control over my feelings of love although couldn?t fight the intrusive thoughts (IT?s) about him. I was so self-determinant to live Non-Love Situation (NLS) once more. This lasted for almost two months but it failed for three reasons: 1) As long as there?s a subconscious hope + uncertainty in balanced amount (I mean it?s a ?not-quite-hopeless-enough unrequited? type of love), it?s impossible to get him out of my mind (please refer to Wikipedia article)? 2) I went to a summer vacation abroad? I expected to enjoy the beautiful alluring tourist scenes but I never did. He was always in my mind, his beautiful looks, his smile etc. 3) I considered him as the most handsome boy I have ever met (he really is), so he deserve to give it some try. So I decided to relapse to my former state? seeking reciprocation. Now, it?s three months since I returned home and no change. The same suffering of my early days or even stronger feelings. NC was useless and failure, it just made things worse and prolonged love. ?Al becomes the only source of pleasure. Please tell me what to do? as I have said: nothing gonna change as long as there?s hope? the only way to break love is by being %100 hopeless ?the only way for being sure %100 that HE WOULD NEVER reciprocate is by rejecting me directly. Thus, he will have no choice *consummation* or *rejection*. I even considered returning to Huss (especially after he called and came to my work many times asking me to return), but the idea was instantly dropped. I?m so hung on Al that I?m leaving every other concern in the background. I?m afraid this love is affecting my daily affairs (work, studying, family and social relations)?I have left my SO?s. In fact I haven?t had sex with anyone since the day I fell in love with him. All the time romantic movies, songs, novels, love-related websites etc. intrusive thoughts (in which we enact mutual love!) in addition to the huge amount of imaginary situations, conversations, etc. The scenario is repeated everyday; I go to eat at that restaurant, but he never cares although he knows that I?m there. He even doesn?t come to serve food for me..!! even in I eat in another restaurant, I go back and forth by his restaurant just to show myself?I?m sure he DOES see me but he never pays any type of attention as if I?m no one. He is so vein. Now tell me please, please what should I do. I have too many options? but one is easy to carry out: 1)returning to Huss = impossible 2)going NC once again = useless, painful 3)confessing my love to Al = insulting, useless, painful Shall I remain like that? Why should I waste so much time on somebody who doesn't think a minute about me? Why should I think of some one who doesn?t even know my name?!!... I mean is there any way to really know or pick up on hints when you meet guys to know if they are really interested, or interested in just one thing. Guys have become really good actors here lately. The reason I ask is because since my last relationship I have been kind of hesitant to start dating again. But here's an example of what I mean. I went to get some carry out food the other day with my ant and we were in their talking.(my ant frequents this restaurant and knows basically everyone that works there.) I was kinda upset and venting to her but not loud no one could hear us. And this guy walked up to me that was working there and told me to put a smile on and that I was to pretty to be upset. Then he said I hope it's not over a guy. Then like 5 minutes later when were walking outside he's outside and he ask my ant if he could take me to a movie. I just walked in the car my ant told him that she wasn't my mother. Do you think that guy was just trying to sleep with me or actually interested in getting to know me. How do you know the difference. I don't want to be in a relationship again where i'm under appreciated. And I catch feelings really quick so how can I pick up if a guy wants a relationship or just a one night stand? (more...)

Ok, so I went to a restaurant to eat dinner with my girlfriend today. We get on the conversation of dating and marriage. Afterwards she brought up something that she said would make me really mad. I said it wouldn't. she said that she was at the movies with her friends I said okay. she said that they were being goofy and started a chain of holding hands. She then said that there was a friend who was a guy there and he never let go of her hand. Her best friend was sitting next to her and they were both trying to figure out what to do. My girlfriend said that she didn't feel right and wanted him to let go but he didn't. When the movie was over he said we should do that again sometime. and she directly said no. She said that there was no kissing and i believed her. She wants me to protect her from this guy, but I don't exactly want to get into a fight with him. He did tell her that she should dump me, but she said no. We have liked each other for a long time and she was very afraid to tell me what happened fearing I would break up with her. She wants to get a restraining order against him. I just don't know what I should say to this guy. I want to kick his A**, but I don't want to get in a fight at the same time. (more...)
