Czech Fire Polish Glass Beads 8mm Round "Lt Colorado Topaz AB" (25)
Czech Fire Polish Glass Beads 8mm Round
Czech Fire Polished Beads
8mm Round
25 Beads
  • In Golden pale topaz color "Lt Topaz AB." AB or "Aurora Borealis" finish is a translucent rainbow finish applied to 50% of the beads' surface.
  • In Czech Fire Polished beads, the shape called "Round" is actually more of an oval.
  • Fire Polished beads are glass beads that are faceted by machine. The edges and surface are then given a softer, polished look by placing the beads in hot ovens or over open flames. By virtue of this process, Fire Polished beads are all slightly different from each other; this adds to their charm. Unlike Austrian faceted crystals, Fire Polished beads contain no lead. It is the heat polishing process that gives them their soft glow and brilliance. Colors may vary from dye lot to dye lot, so it is best to buy sufficient beads for your project all at one time.
  • Measurements: 8MM long, 7.5MM wide.
  • Quantity: 25 beads, which is approximately 7 3/4 inches of beads when strung.

Resolved Question: Accounting, can some one help?
Accounting, can some one help? BTN 17-1 Refer to Krispy Kreme?s financial statements in Appendix A to answer the following: 1. Using 2001 as the base year, compute trend percents for 2001, 2002, and 2003 for revenues, operating expenses (cost of sales), general and administrative expenses, income taxes, and net income. (Round to the nearest whole percent.) 2. Compute common-size percents for 2003 and 2002 for the following categories of assets: (a) total current assets, (b) property and equipment, net, (c) intangible assets, and (d) accrued expenses. Larson?Wild?Chiappetta: Fundamental Accounting Principles, Seventeenth Edition Back Matter Appendix A: Financial Statement Information © The McGraw?Hill Companies, 2004 A A-1 Appendix Financial Statement Information This appendix includes financial information for (1) Krispy Kreme, (2) Tastykake, and (3) Harley-Davidson. This information is taken from their annual reports. An annual report is a summary of a company?s financial results for the year along with its current financial condition and future plans. This report is directed to external users of financial information, but it also affects the actions and decisions of internal users. A company uses an annual report to showcase itself and its products. Many annual reports include attractive photos, diagrams, and illustrations related to the company. The primary objective of annual reports, however, is the financial section, which communicates much information about a company, with most data drawn from the accounting information system. The layout of an annual report?s financial section is fairly established and typically includes the following: Letter to Shareholders Financial History and Highlights Management Discussion and Analysis Management?s Report Report of Independent Accountants (Auditor?s Report) Financial Statements Notes to Financial Statements List of Directors and Officers This appendix provides the financial statements for Krispy Kreme (plus selected notes), Tastykake, and Harley-Davidson. The appendix is organized as follows: Krispy Kreme A-2 through A-17 Tastykake A-18 through A-24 Harley-Davidson A-25 through A-30 Many assignments at the end of each chapter refer to information in this appendix. We encourage readers to spend time with these assignments; they are especially useful in showing the relevance and diversity of financial accounting and reporting. Special note: The SEC maintains the EDGAR (Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval) database at www.SEC.gov. The Form 10-K is the annual report form for most companies. It provides electronically accessible information. The Form 10-KSB is the annual report form filed by ?small businesses.? It requires slightly less information than the Form 10-K. One of these forms must be filed within 90 days after the company?s fiscal year-end. (Forms 10-K405, 10-KT, 10-KT405, and 10-KSB405 are slight variations of the usual form due to certain regulations or rules.) Resolved Question: What do you think about this personal statement?
I'm applying to PA school at Red Rocks Community College in Denver, here is my personal statement. Any comments would be appreciated. In mathematics, the shortest distance between two points may be a straight line, but the route that has led me to apply to the Physician Assistant Program at Red Rocks Community College has been neither short nor straight. Instead, it has been a long, winding path. While majoring in mathematics at Western State College, I applied for an internship at State University of New York at Buffalo for students who wanted to learn about biomedical research. The goal of the program was to integrate the sciences and draw upon other disciplines. I applied to the program hoping I would find a way to incorporate my passion for both biology and math into a future career. Upon acceptance to the program, I worked with Dr. Armando Arroyo who was an Ob/Gyn researching the GnRH neuron. While the research aspect of the program was amazing, what I found most thrilling was the clinical aspect of Dr. Arroyo?s career. On several occasions, he allowed me to accompany him during his clinical rounds. I completed the internship in awe of what doctors do on a daily basis and the difference they make in the world. I returned to Colorado with a passion for health care and entered a CNA training program that allowed me to gain valuable experience while completing my bachelor?s degree. I was nervous when I first entered the program, wondering if I would be able to handle all of the personal care duties that are required of a CNA. However, when I actually started working, I found I enjoyed this type of work because it allows me to give of myself to my patients. As I gained experience working as a CNA, I decided to further my education by taking an EMT-B course. I find emergency medicine to be incredibly rewarding and thrive on the challenges it presents. Now when we have a code blue on the floor, I want to be a part of it and help in any way possible. I love the quick thinking and teamwork required and the knowledge that the critical decisions we make can determine the difference between life and death. I am eager to expand on my medical training so I can increase my knowledge and take on even greater levels of responsibility in patient care. My winding path has led me to the Physician Assistant Program at RRCC, where I know I will succeed in learning to provide a broad range of health care services. The PA program fits very well with what I have accomplished and what I want to achieve out of life. I know I will be a compassionate, caring, and competent physician assistant and that I will continue to make a difference in people?s lives. After graduation from the Physician Assistant Program, I plan to return to the rural, small town communities I grew up in?where PAs are often the primary care providers?so I can help those who helped me growing up. Resolved Question: Should my mom keep me home in this situation?
Ok so a little back round first: my mom and dad had me senior year in high school and they never got married so there may be some hostility in this. but currently i live with my mom and three sisters in loveland, colorado and my dad lives w/ my step family in denver, colorado. so my dad calls to see if i want to go to albuquerque with him for a big reunion on my dads side over christmas. but my mom still haven't said yes yet and i don't think she will. i guess its because i got something really good for christmas but i don't know. its the first time the dads side of the family has been completely together for seven years and my mom still insists on me staying home even though i really want to go. i try to tell her that its not like I don't want to be home any less but its really important that i be in new mexico. what do you think? what would you do? i am almost 16 years old (more...)

Voting Question: Winter make over, wanting to look my best.?
So I'm going home to Colorado for the holidays, and would like to pull a winter make over before going there. Now I live in a warmer place year round, so genuine winter fashion is foreign to me. I would like to look trendy, fashionable, and glamorous. Looking for a head to toe make over guide that will wow. Cause you see, there's this guy... enough said. :) Here's a photo of me, http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa229/phoenixlazara/Miragephoto.jpg I'm 5'6'', have light green eyes, fair skin, dark brown hair, a round face, cool skin undertones, and I'm willing to try anything. Let the advice begin. (more...)

Voting Question: Wanting to do a winter make over, suggestions?
Okay, so I want to look great before I hit Colorado for the New Year. Let's see, I have dark brown hair, a little past shoulder length, green eyes, fair skin, a round face, and my hair has a natural wave. What do you suggest for make and clothing? I'm into jeans and that's about it. Also, is there anything I can do to clear up or cover up a few blemishes? Thanks. (more...)

Resolved Question: what constellations are visible all year round from colorado?

Resolved Question: Is this a bad idea? We need playoffs not BCS.?
I have the craziest idea yet: Create an 18-team, 3-division super west coast conference and end the season with a two-week, 4-team playoff. North: Wash, Wash St, Ore, Ore St, Boise St, Idaho Central: Cal, Stanford, Fresno St, SJSU, Utah, BYU South: USC, UCLA, Ariz, ASU, SDSU, Hawaii Each team could play all 5 teams in their division, plus 2 teams from each of the other divisions (4 total) each season on a rotating basis, plus 2 or 3 non-conference games and end the season with a playoff. Show the rest of college football how exciting a playoff would be. The first round of the playoff could be Thanksgiving weekend. That would steal TV viewers from the traditional Texas vs A&M and Nebraska vs. Colorado games. Who wouldn't want to see USC vs. Utah in prime time Saturday Dec 6th? (more...)

I'm going to college next year and I'm just wondering which school is a.) harder to get in to b.) a better school I have all A's and a 28 act. Cal Poly (SLO) is sunny and warm all year round, and CU Boulder has the slopes and the partying... So, which one? I want to major in Journalism. Resolved Question: Is it ok to drink beer in memory of a loved one?
A cowboy, who is visiting Wyoming from Texas, walks into a bar and orders three mugs of Bud. He sits in the back of the room, drinking a sip out of each one in turn. When he finishes them, he comes back to the bar and orders three more. The bartender approaches and tells the cowboy, 'You know, a mug goes flat after I draw it. It would taste better if you bought one at a time.' The cowboy replies, 'Well, you see, I have two brothers. One is in Arizona, the other is in Colorado. When we all left our home in Texas, we promised that we'd drink this way to remember the days when we drank together. So I'm drinking one beer for each of my brothers and one for myself.' The bartender admits that this is a nice custom, and leaves it there. The cowboy becomes a regular in the bar, and always drinks the same way. He orders three mugs and drinks them in turn. One day, he comes in and only orders two mugs. All the regulars take notice and fall silent. When he comes back to the bar for the second round, the bartender says, 'I don't want to intrude on your grief, but I wanted to offer my condolences on your loss.' The cowboy looks quite puzzled for a moment, then a light dawns in his eyes and he laughs. 'Oh, no, everybody's just fine,' he explains, 'It's just that my wife and I joined the Baptist Church and I had to quit drinking.' 'Hasn't affected my brothers though.' (more...)
