His guide led him to the outskirts of the heavenly city where God dwells, nestled at the base of a mountain. He saw from afar the immensity of the city with its beautiful domed spires. He felt the city's divinity and was told of the restrictions concerning who may enter it.
Larry was also shown other worlds and traveled among them. He was able to re-experience his conversation with his pre-mortal sweetheart just before their birth into mortality. One of his most intriguing encounters was with the council which eventually gave him permission to return to earth and resume his mortal life.

Open Question: If your brother was kind of an A-Hole...(plz help answer ASAP!)?
Ok so here's my dilemma: my family is suppose to go on a big road trip from California to Colorado to visit some cousins. The only reason my family is even doing this trip is for my older brother (he's kind of in a depressed state b/c of unemployment) so my parents want to cheer him up by going on a fun road trip together. the thing is, my brother has been unemployed for the past 4 yrs and he's been mooching off my parents for all these yrz now and he doesn't feel the least bit of guilt. he just sits all day in his underwear, eating, drinking, and having fun on my parents' expense. and on top of all this he is a complete asshole to my parents. he constantly yells at them, curses them, and claims they ruined his life (trust me they didn't, he just likes to blame his mistakes on his parents). so, now my parents are thinking that he doesn't deserve to have all this money spent on him for this vacation. but then my parents really miss their family in Colorado and want me to enjoy my winter break as well. I honestly think that we shudnt go on this trip cuz my older bro doesn't deserve it at all.....wat do you guys think????

Resolved Question: how do i accept that my mom is "in love"?
Here's the deal my mom says she is "in love" with a guy, my mother has bad judgment in men. My dad was a drunk and an abuser, she left him for a guy so we moved all the way to europe, 3 years they were engaged and he said he wasn't going to marry her, we move to the usa and he wants to marry her! then she married my ex-step dad who verbally abused me but physically abused her, he went insane and almost killed her, he totally trashed her she was in the hospital for a long t=so i went to live with my grand parents, and my grandpa molested me, every man in our lives has hurt her and I and now she found a new man... she claims to be in love, he is visiting us right now all the way from colorado and he loves her, i recently met him (im only 14 almost 15.) he was nothing as i expected, he was very nice but chubby and a biker dude. he seems odd... how do i accept he may love her and treat her well and she will do the same for him?
basically incase you didn't get the message every guy that i let in my life just screws with her and I more than we need

Open Question: Any possibilities of a boyfriend living in EUR, coming to visit his girlfriend in the US???...?
I'm not an adult yet, and I live in Colorado as a citizen, but have an 18 year old boyfriend who lives in Europe. Our families are pretty close, and I'd rather have him come visit here due to expense, than have all of us visit him, but it sounds impossible that US would allow that...Is there any chance of him visiting me??? And how???

Resolved Question: Please help me, I'm so very depressed....?
I have been extremely stressed out lately. I'm currently attend a community college, because its all my grandmother can afford to send me. I live at home with my parents, but they refuse to help my grand mother allow me to get a college education. I know I should feel lucky even being at a college in the first place, , because some of my friends are not going at all. I have a very sweet loving boyfriend, that I've been with for 2 years, March will make it 3. all throughout high school, me and him were inseparable. But now he's going to a college he loves going to, while I'm stuck in a community college hating life. I recently got accepted into a college in Colorado, and after everyone, including my parents got my hopes up, everyone told me I was not able to go, because my grandmother could not pay that much for it, and like I said my parents refuse to help me and her. I'm at the point in my life where I feel like I'm supposed to be having fun at college, and meeting fun new people, and enjoying life, but I have never been so depressed in my life. I'm even starting to feel like leaving my boyfriend, so he wont have to deal with me and my sadness anymore. I dint want to be the one to constantly ruin his day with my problems. Some times I feel like just getting away from all of this, and sometimes I feel like I dont wanna live anymore. My family that I live with also acts like they dont want me around. which is why I planned to go to Colorado in the first place. They do everything without me. everything from simply visiting a relative, to going out to eat or to the movies. They would wait till I have to go to work all day, to go out and have some fun with out me. for once I would just like to go to school with a smile on my face.
Is there any advise you can give me so I wont feel so bad? Is there anything I can do to make my life a little better? I'm so tired of crying....
And please no rude comments I'm in a very emotional state right now.....thank you =[
I also didn't have that good of a christmas, because in christmas day, my dad got drunk and yelled at me and my mom. I've been loosing sleep, and have not been eating regularly because of all of this. I really need some help..... =[

Resolved Question: What do you think of my true Ufo and maybe true Jesus story?
When I was about 7 years old, I was sleeping in my top bunk bed. I opened my eyes and a figure that looked like Jesus was looking at me. He asked me to walk with him and so I did and we headed into the darkness in my room. It seemed like we walked for a long time but my room was tiny. I felt a lack of time. There next thing I knew I appeared in my sisters room out of nowhere and was crying. I was scared.
Around the same time, my dad and many neighbors had seen a large UFO in the area.
When I was 23, I was working for the Forest Service in Colorado. We went on a short trip with some other Forest Service employees to the Canyonlands in Utah. Nothing crazy happened there except for a flash flood that washed out the road. We had a little trouble moving the car but made it out.
On the drive back, somewhere on US-191 in Utah, We saw what looked like hundreds of police lights spinning on the ground. It was near a rivers edge to the right of the highway. I thought there might be some major accident but it was way too many lights.
Then it rose up. It was a gigantic UFO. I wouldn't have believed myself if I was alone. There were two other people in the car. It was unbelievably huge. I just stared at it not believing. Then it flew off.
Twenty minutes went by as We continued on US-191. We didn't know what to think. Then it appeared again but right above the car. I was freaked out. It was gigantic. In the middle of the disc shaped ship, there was a strip of spinning lights. It hovered over us close for a minute or so and then took off very fast. There was no noise coming from it.
That was that. Nothing weird like that has happened since. I am 34 now.
I could explain the first "Jesus" visit thing as maybe a lucid dream. The ufo that We saw when I was 23, I cannot explain. That was too crazy.
It still freaks me out to think about it so here I am again bringing up the memory.
I know they are real. I guess I am still in shock 12 years later. How the hell can something that large go undetected? Blows my mind.
So 3 people had psychosis at the same time?
Why do people have to be jerks?

How many years does a speeding offence remain on your record if you were pulled over by a state trooper? My friend reckons it's only 3 years but I tell him that it's probably more. He's already paid the fine but he's from out of state and wants to visit Colorado again to see some friends.

Voting Question: I need serious crush advice. ?
So I live in a tiny town in Colorado and I am 14. Now I grew some very strong relationships with friends since my time living here. So here we go. I am Mormon and we have very strong dating rules that stand pretty strong in my family. We are not supposed to date until we are 16 and even then we are not supposed to get very serious into it. Well there are two particular guys that are driving me insane. So here. At a youth conference this year I met two guys. Matt, who ended up being my neighbor right across the street from me who is in my ward. Now he is not a huge Mormon at all. He dropped the whole 16 thing out the window when he turned 15. Now the other guy I met and danced with is Sam. He is amazing,cute, funny and understanding. He is not a good Mormon either. Well both of them became my good friends. After a few months, Matt decided he was mad at me for spreading rumors about him. I would never do that and it continued on with mean things getting spread about me from him and evil looks from him family. Until about a week ago. He messaged me and said that he was sorry for all that had happened. And so I decided I forgave him, but I was sure if I wanted to be friends with someone who couldn't trust me. Well one day we drops this bomb on me saying that he loves me and he wants me and he will wait forever for me. And I was speechless. The same day Sam called me and we were talking about how at the last church dance we both were waiting for each other to ask the other to dance. We both chickened out. Well he calls me and asks me this "out of the blue" question. "What would you do if I kissed you?" well I explained that I wouldnt know what to do and so we finished talking and stuff. Well last night Matt drops another bomb. And I know this is all genuine from him. But he also asked what I would do if he kissed me. I explained the same thing that I had to Sam and told him that I didnt want to be kissed until I was 16 and could date and he said he would kiss me anyways. Well he told me to meet him in the CHAPEL (for all you non-mormons that is the place that we meet for a kind of meeting) so we can be alone so he can kiss me. I dont want to though! I dont! And Sam also says he likes me alot. Well the thing is I have these two guys. I dont know who to pick, I dont know if I should pick either of them. And another thing I am moving in 2 weeks. Matt says he will drive when he gets his license to where I am moving just to visit me. This guy says he has been obsessed with me since he met me. And I dont know what to do. I am confused. What is a good Mormon girl supposed to do in a situation like this????? :O Help please. Especially if you are Mormon. But if your not you can still help. Choose one or the other or dump the both like hot potatoes and move on. I have a group of friends who say Sam and a few that say Matt and a few that say NEITHER. They arent good Mormons but that doesnt seem to bug me at all. And Sam is Bi-sexual or so he says, and Matt just cant make up his mind...I dont know if I can trust either of them. So help!
