Into the Light: Real Life Stories About Angelic Visits, Visions of the Afterlife, and Other Pre-Death Experiences
Into the Light: Real Life Stories About Angelic Visits, Visions of the Afterlife, and Other Pre-Death Experiences Despite our advancements in science and medicine, death remains one of human civilization's most glorious mysteries. A handful of doctors have written books on phenomena such as near-death experiences, but research and data is scarce on pre-death experiences. Because of this lack of information, Dr. John Lerma has devoted his career to compiling anecdotal and scientific research on pre-death hallucinations from the countless terminally-ill patients he lovingly cares for as a doctor and director at The Medical Center of Houston, Texas.

Now, in the groundbreaking book, Into The Light, Dr. Lerma shares his valuable research and guidance in 16 inspirational stories of children and adults confronting their deaths through the comforting visions of divine beings. By presenting these mysterious visions, synchronicities, and angelic conversations terminally ill patients encounter, Dr. Lerma shows how knowledge of death can ease the pain and fear as we prepare to enter into the light.

In this book you will learn:

* The exhilarating and calming elements of pre-death experiences.

* Healing during the dying process.

* The difference between hallucinations and visions.

* Self-forgiveness and self-love as the key to a joyous life and a peaceful transition.

The mystical experiences described here delve into: the creation of the universe, past and future extinctions, dark angels and white angels, selfless suffering and its effect on humanity, free will as the vital ingredient to create on earth and in heaven, and many more incredible revelations. The poignant stories in Into the Light will leave you feeling uplifted in faith, hope, and love.

Through these spiritual visits, she explains the reasons behind many of the world's most bizarre and mysterious hauntings, and she shares her own personal, face-to-face experiences with these inexplicable phenomena. From surprising revelations about the spirit world to moving reunions with those who have moved on, Visits from the Afterlife once again illustrates spirits' profound and eternal influence on our earthly lives.

I Saw Heaven: A Remarkable Visit to the Spirit World
I Saw Heaven: A Remarkable Visit to the Spirit World On September 19, 1972, when Larry Tooley's scaffold fell and he plunged to the concrete floor below, one of the most remarkable near-death experiences ever recorded began. I Saw Heaven! is the complete account of his accident and his extensive tour beyond the veil.

As Larry's spirit left his body and journeyed upward, he passed through a foreboding fog and witnessed agonized souls in outer darkness. Then, drawn to a brilliant light and greeted by a being who emanated overwhelming love, he underwent a life review and experienced the stripping away of earthly impurities.

He entered a receiving station through a suspended arched doorway. His name was recorded, he was dressed in a white robe and was greeted by a deceased former acquaintance who was to be his guide on an extensive reacquaintance tour of the spirit world. They communicated through telepathisc speech and flew by thought projection from place to place together. He was re-taught concerning the powers he enjoyed before birth: of projecting thoughts, levitation, unassisted flight, and that all matter exists at varying levels of vibrational frequencies.

Larry was shown through a kingdom of beauty and order. He saw communities with buildings made from a marble-like material, surrounded by beautiful trees and landscaping. They visited a learning center where he was shown advanced ways of obtaining knowledge. They toured a genealogical research center where people were working to establish their relationships with their forefathers, and he was taught the importance of linking families together. A family reunion was held for him to acquaint himself with many of his relatives, ad he found that he could learn all about them by embracing them. He met his sister, Wendy, who had died shortly after her birth, and found her adorned in a brilliant white robe which reflected her advanced level of progression.

His guide led him to the outskirts of the heavenly city where God dwells, nestled at the base of a mountain. He saw from afar the immensity of the city with its beautiful domed spires. He felt the city's divinity and was told of the restrictions concerning who may enter it.

Larry was also shown other worlds and traveled among them. He was able to re-experience his conversation with his pre-mortal sweetheart just before their birth into mortality. One of his most intriguing encounters was with the council which eventually gave him permission to return to earth and resume his mortal life.

I Saw Heaven! is the true acocunt of one of the most imformative near-death experiences ever recorded. All who want to learn more of the next stage of their existence will be fascinated by the many insights and details it contains. It's a must-read book!

Open Question: Why do I get visits from spirits when a person passes away?
The first time it happened was when I was 12 and my grandfather passed away. His spirit came to me to say good bye. 3 years later it was my grandmother. Then my aunt, after that it was a girl from school that I had never even talked to. I even had my friend's boyfriend visit me and I had never met him or even seen a picture. He wanted me to tell my friend that he loved her and to say goodbye to her. Then a month ago it happened again when another aunt passed away. I also see what I think are nymphs wandering around at work when I am the only one there. It's kind of creepy, but they never bother me, so I'm getting used to it. (more...)

Resolved Question: What now as a Christian?
I was baptized August 31, 2008. I try to fast when I can. I read the bible. I attend church wednesday, friday, sunday. In my life I have found out I get depressed easily. Honestly I don't think anything in this world ca make me happy. Yes I know I should not be complaining of the perfect world Jesus Christ made. I want more. I want to experience our God for who he really is. I have not been able to do so in this time. It also does not help that I have enough or little to no faith in God apparently. Yet I believe in him. I know the only way my faith to grow is to be filled With the holy spirit. I read in the bible that one must have faith in Jesus to be filled and stop sinning. It said I must deny myself. How do I deny myself? My biggest struggle since I got baptized to stop doing is masterbating and learning to respect my mother. Is this whats holding me back? How can I stop? I try and try and I keep repeating the same mistakes. Will he forgive me? I heard God forgives but how do i repent with all my heart to where I mean with all my heart? I come to understand this world were in is just a visit and nothing more. Pray for me? Just being baptized will not gain me my crown of life, I must be filled with his holy spirit and stay filled. What can I do or change more in my life to the point I stop sinning and become a faithful servant of our savior? I refuse to burn in the lake of fire and brimstone. (more...)

Open Question: Elderly relative 'giving up on life' what can we do to help?
My Grandmother is 84 years old. She has been diagnosed with psychotic depression and is currently receiving treatment in hospital. During the past 2 months whilst she has been receiving care she has steadily declined both physically and mentally. As a family we have being doing our best in the situation, at the moment this is someone visiting her everyday. We are all aware that she is dying, and that it could happen literally anyday. Our concern is her total lack of interest in communicating with anyone, even the family. For example on a resent visit for 45 mins she spoke twice and turned her head away at all other times. My opinion is that she has literally given up, perhaps thinking that not eating and drinking will quicken the process. Is there anything we can do to try and raise her spirits? Or has anyone had a similar experience, if so how did you cope with it? Many thanks She has suffered from depression her whole life although has refused to admit it - even now she thinks shes ok! She has also caught a chest infection whilst in hospital which is the reason for her physical decline. As far as I am aware she is on 50mg of Amisulpride and 50mg of Sertraline twice daily. From what I gather on the internet this is not a high dose (more...)

Open Question: Is my friends spirit visiting me in my dreams? Or is it just a dream?
I had a very close friend of mine pass away this past summer, and as you can imagine it was very hard for me, especially since it was my first experience of a loved one passing away. Well, a few weeks ago I spent the night at my friends house, I had a dream of my friend who passed away in it. Its been so long since I've had the dream so it is a bit vivid in my head. All I can remember is he and I were just talking to eachother, and doing stuff we would usually do together. Then while I was dreaming I wimpered, and woke up in tears. I was just wondering if he is actually visiting me from beyond the grave, or is this just a mere thought in my head. Please, I must know. Also, I heard you dream of the last thing you were thinking about before you fall asleep. I wasnt thinking of him though before I went to bed. (more...)

Open Question: How do I deal with these family issues? I'm so depressed and hurt!?
I'm a woman in my 40's. I have a chronic illness that deems it impossible to work a regular job. A few times I've found it necessary to move in with family. I always do what I can to help. I just left an abusive relationship and came to be with my aunt, who is elderly and needing help. I am so frustrated right now because my siblings and their spouses look down on me because I am here and not working. I have been couped up due to snow. I am a good and loving person. I was very hurt because one brother called me a lazy pig living off of other people. My father (who lives very far away) was recently only 2 hours away visiting a brother, after i've tried to see him for over a year, and yet he didn't want to see me. He said he is too depressed. I was full of cheer before Christmas, but everyone canceled due to snow. I found out they all got together over the holidays. I am always nice to be around, am fantastically loving to my nieces and nephews. I said I would forgive my brother for calling me a pig. I wrote them an email and said I was disappointed no one showed up, I had the kids presents, so what should I do? Come over there or did they think they would come? One wrote and said as much as they want to see me, they are coming over so they can see my mom and aunt too. I was feeling sorry for myself so I wrote a flippant answer and said something like, 'well there are some that would rather see my mom than me anyway'. I got another testy email saying I had S.A.D. and that I better get back in the Christmas spirit and how ridiculous I sounded! How do I get over the estranged relationship with them? I do not feel good about myself for not being independent. I am so angry and frustrated and hurt. This is not my normal way of being. I know it sounds extremely immature. I always feel suicidal this time of year, esp. when things like this go wrong. I feel I have caused a rift in my family due to my not being independent. How do I handle this? I know my remark was passive-aggressive and I am dumb for saying it. Now I feel more depressed just because someone said I was! Sorry this is so long. I appreciate any advise. I should add this has been years of estrangement mostly because of my illness and they never believed me. (more...)
