Hail To The Chimp: The Presidential Party Game
Since the dawn of time mankind has wondered who would win if a polar bear and a jellyfish teamed up to fight an armadillo and a yak. True, historically this is an unlikely match up, but that was before Hail to the Chimp. Hail to the Chimp is a no holds barred mini-game battleground pitting player vs. player with the new leadership of the animal kingdom on the line. Filled with fast action accommodating up to four players, good-natured non-stop political humor and satirical commentary on the mass media's infatuation with infotainment, it's the perfect party game for every political animal.
Hit the Campaign Trail
The long rule of the Lion has finally come to an end and a rambunctious group of candidates are chomping at the bit to replace him. Some have plans for democratic rule, while others are all too willing to replace the big cat's monarchical tyranny with their own benevolent despotism. The only certainty is that the strong will survive.Candidates, Clams and Chaos
Hail to the Chimp features ten playable characters from every corner of the animal kingdom. Each has their own strengths, weaknesses, political platforms and agendas, but there is more to winning this contest than kissing babies. The game consists of a series of politically themed mini-games set in various environments in which players scramble to collect as many clams (votes) as possible. The more clams a player has the more damage your character can dish out and take. Just a few of the available character are:
Although this is the animal kingdom's first attempt at democracy it doesn't take these candidates long to figure out that the goal is to win at all costs. With that in mind players are free go at it alone or team up with competitors to gang up on the rest of the field. Each combination of characters creates a different special move that unless stopped, can decimate opponents, dashing presidential hopes and making an election year debate look like a tea party. The GRR News Network
Taking political humor and satire to new levels, at least for a video game, Hail to the Chimp also features its own news coverage, the GRR News Network. Hosted by anchor Woodchuck Chumley, not only does GRR keep track of player standings in the election and broadcast candidates victory speeches direct from the podium, it also holds a wealth of additional game content regarding the candidates and their platforms. This mix of TV smears ads, talk show segments and commercials are in part available immediately on entry into the game and unlockable as the game progresses, providing relentless humor and hours worth of additional play time to a game destined to become a hit in every state whether red or blue.
Video Game: Party game that delivers exciting gameplay, lush interactive environments, and a comic look at politics, Players use the game's unique team-up mechanic, mixing cooperation with competition, to claw their way to victory, Played by four friends on one TV, online against distant challengers or single-player against advanced AI, Offers endlessly replayable party fun for gamers of all stripes

| Name: Ptolemy the Hippo Home: Egypt Bio: Ptolemy lives in a world where the 1970's never stopped. With unique style and charisma by the truckload, this happenin' Hippo wants to return Hippos (more directly, himself) to the top of the Animal Kingdom. |
| Name: Toshiro the Octopus Home: Japan Bio: A samurai octopus, Toshiro's logic is simple - most of the world is water and therefore ocean-based animals are the dominant life form. A highly trained warrior and scholar, Toshiro's campaign is as elegant as it is ruthless. | |
| Name: Santo the armadillo Home: New Mexico, US Bio: Born in the deserts of New Mexico, Santo was a painter before he joined the campaign. He thinks politicians and artists have a lot in common - prima donnas and shysters, the lot of them - and he's here to keep it real. | |
| Name: Murgatroyd the Jellyfish Home: Unknown Bio: Not much is known about Murgatroyd as her garbled pronouncements are completely indecipherable. This is a solid campaign strategy, as many animals assume her views are similar to their own. Mysterious, perplexing and lovable, Murgatroyd could be the underdog of this race. | |
| Name: Crackers the Monkey Home: Congo Bio: Crackers was the right-hand monkey to the King Lion before he was ousted from the throne. Rumor has it that Crackers' whole campaign is a ruse designed to restore his old boss to the throne, ensuring a cushy lifestyle for his favorite monkey. |

Ms. Cahill for Congress: One Fearless Teacher, Her Sixth-Grade Class, and the Election That Changed Their Lives Forever
The remarkable story of a teacher who ran a grassroots campaign for Congress . . . from her sixth-grade classroom
“You can’t run for office in this country unless you’re a millionaire or you know a lot of millionaires.” This offhand remark from one of her sixth-grade students dismayed public school teacher Tierney Cahill. When she told the kids that in a democracy anyone can run for office, they dared her to prove it–by running herself. She accepted their challenge on one condition: that they, her students, manage the campaign.
A single mom with three kids and more than one job to make ends meet, Cahill was in for a decidedly uphill battle, especially as a Democrat in largely Republican Reno, Nevada. But Cahill had always felt a responsibility to make a positive impact on an increasingly inequitable world. With her eager students leading the way, and a war chest of just seven thousand dollars (compared to opponents with one hundred times the funds), Cahill not only got her name on the ballot but she won the Democratic primary. And as the campaign moved forward, Cahill’s students blossomed beyond her wildest expectations.
Ms. Cahill for Congress is the inspiring story of an exceptional teacher who proved that anyone really can run for office–and even without money or connections, make a difference in a great many lives.

Open Question: Obama!!!? What do the people (all of us) really think?
I have never really been much into following the Politics and such, I'm 22 and have never voted, simple reasons because when I was able to vote Bush (wasnt a fan) was in office and it didn't really matter to me @ 18. Watching the polls and such and seeing Obama get elected has changed our country forever and has really opened my eyes. I'm currently enlisting into the Marines for the self discipline and a life changing experience and I'm happy knowing that he (Obama) will be leading our country while I'm enduring this. I was totally against Obama in the beginning because I'm a hard headed American. But now the tables have turned, the way I see it is, I'm living through real history as our Grandparents and Parents have with lets say, JFK, Martin Luther King, Slavery and the Civil War to WW2. My Point is I'm happy to be apart of this and I just wanna know how other Guys and Gals my age (give or take a few years) really honestly feel. History is my favorite and a huge part of life. To be a part of something that is this monumental is amazing!! I am proud to say that Obama is going to be our new President. Like I said I have never voted but I was rooting for McCain, which is foolish in my part for never voting for him, because what if my vote had changed the outcome of this but its not the point. Obama will work wonders for our country. Music has had a huge influence on me my whole life and one of my favorite bands is Anti-Flag, they have some some songs that have made me severely think about our country, and to be honest, they (Anti-Flag) are correct, with what is going on the last 7 years and I would say most people wouldnt admit it but I want to make a stand for myself and fellow rockers who see the Political world the same way as everyone else. It is also just along with other bands such as System and Rage. I am not saying that they have made decisions for me but when you realize what these kinds of bands, MOST of all (for me) Anti-Flag, their stuff is real because this is really how most people feel (most won't admit it). I give these dudes a million thumbs up. Im proud to live in America and I'm looking forward living here for the rest of my life like our fathers who started this country intended.
Keep it ROCKIN!!!!!!!! THRASH UNREAL!!!!!!!
If you are going to talk sh*t keep it to yourself because I don't want to hear it and neither does anyone else, If you feel the real urge to go find some rope

Open Question: CHECK THE PARAGRAPH PLZ?
my lil cousin wrote a paragraph about: Why is January 20th an important day for the America and History?
and plz check it and add more sentences to it.
January 20th is an important day to the American and the history, because it?s an inauguration day for the first African American president, Barack Obama. And because it?s the first time to have a woman senator to ran for president, Hillary Clinton. Hundreds of years ago, African American had a very difficult life. They had to pay more money on everything. They had hard time to find a high paying job. They were forced to live separate from whites. They had to go to different school. They had no people to protect them in government. It was impossible for an African American to be elected president. No one could ever believe that an African American become a president of the United States. And It was impossible to have a woman to run for president, because women did not have right to vote. After hundreds of years, African American will finally rule the land. Now men, women, African American, and everyone have the same rights.

Open Question: Have you heard the coments about Obama from Seryl Sheppard on The View today?
Basically they were talking about a Rev. that tried to live his life like Jesus and then Sheryl made the comment that he said that he voted for Obama because he was the person that mostly exemplified Jesus?
So how blind are Obama?s followers?
I could not believe what I heard. Sounded like a sin to me!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4bbH3wCCpg
Sangio,
Anytime someone considers themselves in the likes of Jesus son of God, is defianying the Commandments: You shall have no other gods before me.
Well, please note I do not watch the show as a general rule. I had a day off and was flipping channels. I KNOW the view is not really news ... dah, I just get flabbergasted at some comments some democrats make and their blind faith of Obama. Comparing him to Jesus is totally over the top.

Open Question: Mark Sanford in 2012?
With Obama as President, the Democrats have ensured that there is a 90% chance I won't be voting for them (unless he does a really good job) in 2012, other than to re-elect Gordon, and if a Democrat who wasn't a liberal ran against Corker (for personal reasons I'd rather not go into, I refuse to vote for anyone from Chattanooga)
There is this governor in South Carolina, Sanford, he has been a real budget hawk. He has held the line against his own party on spending, something W never did. Sanford also is not tied in with all those preachers, which makes me happy because right now i'm making my living in bars. I am wondering if Sanford might not be our best and only hope of winning the White House in 2012, because I think he is just the kind of guy who can pull off for us what Obama did for them. Am I wrong in thinking that Sanford may be the answer to the 2012 question?

Resolved Question: What fountain would obama have to drink from if he was alive in the 1940's?
The fountain for coloreds or whites?I'm not racist or anything,i voted for him in the election.I'm doing a African american project in school on how biracial people and blacks were treated back then.I'm doing Obama as a example if he was alive back then in the 1940's.Imagine if he was living in deep in the south like Louisiana. What if his mom and his dad were different races and they secretly fell in love during the 1940's and had intercourse and the mother gave birth to a biracial child. How will white people treat a boy that's half black/white.what school would they send him to or would they considered him a colored or a white person. This project is due in 12 days.thanks for your help

Open Question: Why are illegals arrested on federal charges with no ties to town released & given court date is the last of ?
Pretty amazing that every state in this country willingly breaks their own immigration laws then expects the AMERICAN CITIZEN to abide by laws this country/state creates. Why are illegals arrested on federal charges with no ties to town released & given court date and told to return is the last they will see or ever hear from this group again ?
NEWINGTON ? N.H. State Police arrested four men from Mexico, charging each with an immigration violation.
Lt. Scott Carr of Troop A said that on Dec. 26, Trooper Michael Coraluzzo made a motor vehicle stop for a traffic violation on Route 16.
As a result of what he learned during the stop, Trooper Coraluzzo arrested Mario Alberto Mendoza Toala, 24, and Roberto Mendoza Paulion, 34, both from Juarez. Also arrested were Horacio Mendoza Tola, 27, and Jose Manuel-Ventura Toala, 24, both from Villa Corzo.
"As he started talking with the occupants he noted the four had Mexican voting cards for identification," Carr said. "The driver had a Mexican license. The trooper called an immigration agent who determined they were all illegal, and asked us to hold them on a federal charge."
Carr said officials from U.S. Immigration Services interviewed the men about how they crossed the border. They were given a federal court date and a bond, then released, Carr said.
"If they don't appear, a warrant is issued for their arrest and they are deported without a hearing," he said.
Carr said he had no information on where the men were living and if they were working in the area.

Open Question: A question for people who support Palin?
OK, now I want to make this as civil as possible. I personally did not want Sarah Palin in national politics, so I voted for Obama even though i am usually a Republican. However, I KNOW how non-Palin supporters feel about this, so I'm not really asking for thier opinion. I am willing to give Ms. palin a second chance if she runs again, so I have to know this.
Regarding the Gravina Island Bridge: Congress earmarked millions of dollars to Alaska to build a bridge to Gravina Island, polulated by 50 people. Therefore the bridge was called the "bridge to nowhere", since it was literally hundreds of millions of dollars to an island of 50 people.
However, Ms Palin thought "nowhere" was offensive to the people who live there, and thus came the iconic image of her holding up a "nowhere, Alaska" shirt:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/4b/Palin_nowhere.jpg
(Get it? Bridge to Gravina island=bridge to nowhere, thus Gravina island=nowhere)
So she was sticking up for these people, I can respect that, if she thinks the money was worth it. Even though they are only 50 people, it isn't "nowhere" to them, it's home, right? She even ran her campaing for governor promising to get a bridge. No problem here.
However, where did the whole "thanks, but no thanks, on that bridge to nowhere." quote some from in the VP speech? She DID support the bridge, did she not? That speech angered the people who lived there, who once supported her, because she called their home "nowhere".
http://www.reuters.com/article/vcCandidateFeed7/idUSN3125537020080901
Can a supporter of Ms. Palin please explain this? Again, I'm not being rude, just trying to give her a chance, but I can't fight the feeling like I was blatanly lied to.
Sorry it was so long, btu I wanted to state all the facts.
Oh, and "all politicians lie" or "Obama lies too" are not acceptable responses.

Open Question: Does an absentee ballot on your voting record hurt your chances of establishing Domicile in the US (I-864)?
I am sponsoring my wife for a greencard and must establish domicile. We both live in China currently (basically temporarily) Although assets and bills with my name and address are acceptable, the NVC wants more info. to establish domicile. I am sending them my state taxes and plan on also sending a copy of my Voters Registration and Record. Since I live in China, I voted absentee in the 2008 Federal election. Does that hurt my chances of establishing domicile?

Open Question: Isreal!! Enough is enough lets talk!!?
Im not siding with Isreal or Hamas. You can only really give suggestions to this problem i feel if you dont side with either of them as your perspective is clowded. Remember that the Hamas people elected Hamas with a 12% majority!!!!!!!!!! The people didnt elect this group of morons really. Some where forced i expect but most voted against in the face of probable threats. That makes them brave in my eyes. They dont deserve this. Just as much as Isreal dont deserve to live with the threat of rockets landing on them. To solve this needs outside influence as did the Northern Ireland problems. Im losing patience with Isreal fast! If i had an argument with you regarding a parking space thats fine. But if i then beat you to a pulp because i wasn't getting my own way ican see thats not right! Cant Isreal see it?

Open Question: Question for Democrats?
Why do you guys always destroy your own state, then move on to a conservative state and attempt to destroy that one as well? It's happening in California. Crazy liberals have destroyed that state, so now they're moving in huge numbers to New Mexico, Nevada, and Colorado where they vote for more Democrats and support the same policies that doomed California. It's happening in Virginia and North Carolina, where all the liberal crazies that destroyed DC have moved to because the people that voted for screwed up that city. Why do you guys always do this? If you want to live in a crime-ridden socialist paradise, why flee Detroit, Newark, and Philadelphia after you get your wish?
Andrew K, Didn't Arnold get elected because of Gray Davis' stupidity? Also, I live in New Jersey and work in NYC. My state is broke, NYC is broke. How is that better off than a state like Texas?
