Resolved Question: What is the best belgium-style imported ale that is no darker than amber? (I don't like dark brews.)?
I am a big fan of La Fin Du Monde, Victory 12, Duell, and Delirium Tremens. What are some other awesome belgium style ales you all suggest that are similar? (No dark brew please!)

Resolved Question: Real "American" Beer?
What kinds of truly American beer are there nowadays?
Coors and Miller are owned by Canadian Molson, and Bud was recently sold to some brewing company in Belgium. Those are the "big 3" in American beers.... and not one is American.
What are some All-American beers?
I can think of about 10 off the top of my head, but I think most of them are provincial, so they're not available nationally.
I remember reading about Coors merging with Molson a few years ago.... just googled it and got the following...

Resolved Question: Why do people care so much about Budweiser's merger with InBev?
Budweiser will always be an America icon, no matter who currently owns it. The beer is the same, the people are the same, the breweries are the same. It is a company that has the highest quality standards and I truly doubt that anything will change. What else would you drink? Miller? It is owned by a South African company. Coors? It's Canadian (owned by Molson). Belgium is at least known for its great beers. South Africa is known for apartheid and Canada is known for hockey -- no brewing tradition in any of those countries. Sam Adams is now the biggest American owned brewer? They don't even brew their own beer. They contract brew it! Stick with the King...that's what I am going to do!!

Resolved Question: Will Budweiser still be brewed in the U.S.?
Now that Belgium's inBev is the largest brewing company since its recent buy out of Budweiser, will Bud still be brewed in the United States plant?

Resolved Question: What will be the new name for Busch Stadium?
The naming rights to the Cardinals' Busch Stadium are held by brewing company Anheuser-Busch (and NOT the Busch family) through 2025.
However, A-B is being bought out by Belgian brewing company InBev, makers of Stella Artois and Beck's brand beers, among others.
We know how these things go in these corporate buyouts, so we can probably kiss "Busch Stadium" goodbye. What will the new name be?
I'd kinda like to see "Stella Stadium", has a nice ring to it. Or perhaps, since Belgium is largely bilingual between French and Dutch, something new. "Stadium" is the same in French, but in Dutch translates to "Stadion", which is sorta cool.
New name ideas, please.
Sorry, St. Louis, but these things happen.

Resolved Question: I will never drink BUd again! hey sold out on years of brew making and on the United States?
PHILADELPHIA/NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. brewer Anheuser-Busch Cos Inc (BUD.N) agreed to a $50 billion takeover by Belgium-based InBev NV (INTB.BR), a source familiar with the situation said on Sunday, creating the world's largest beer maker.
Hoe many local maskers of anything we trust have sold out to European makers. We get lead in our children toys, poison in our pet treats and chemicals for anti-freeze in our cough syrup! Ecoli in our veggies and they sell our most well known beer maker to a foreign company!
