have you ever met someone you just can't stand, yet you are forced to deal with daily? i'm not talking about just someone that rubs you the wrong way or anything like that. i mean a person that is purposely malicious, devious and goes out of their way to make everyone's life miserable. but that person is protected by the rules of a company and does it in such a way that you just have to deal with it? Wouldn't it be nice if you could just challenge them to a duel to the death? If they said no, then they would be branded as a coward and nobody would even acknowledge their presence? I think it would be fanstatic personally. i tried posting this in another section with no results, lets see how it does here. their is nothing humilating about loosing a 1 vs 1 duel, if its in fair condition and each person is healthy then what you have done is suffered an honorable defeat and didn't back down from a challenge and people would respect you for that. Facts: Found txts, emails and chats between wife and her co-worker starting in March 08. Confronted her serveral times asking her to stop all contact with this man. In May I found chats between the two describing their trists, bond, affection for each other. I confronted her again to have her stop. She said she would. I decided to work it out, and move forward. I asked her that we need counseling, and it never happend. Between May and now we've had several blow ups about whereabouts and mainly trust. Two weeks ago i found yet more chats, not so much about their relationship, but her describing how she wants to make him lunch. (she ended up saying it was for her female co-worker, though I new otherwise). I confronted her about what I found and her reasoning for making me lunch etc. She flat out denied the fact that she's had any contact with this man. I got fed up and told her I wanted to move out and think about our relationship. I was instantly branded a coward and an abandoner by her parents and her. I told her to tell her parents we weren't getting along, (cause I wanted to protect her) so that people won't judge her about her affair, but instead i was forced to confess due to her leaving me to explain why I'm "choosing" to leave her and our two kids. (age 8 and 19mo). And the fact her mom flat out accused me of being the adulterer and going so far as saying that I not a man, but a coward and a horrible father who's nothing but being selfish. After confessing to their daughters trist, i broke down and told my mom after she saw me upset and was wondering what was wrong. The wife had a fit, and insulted me to no end (which is out of character for her). While I've been nothing but respectful towards her, she's been flat out mean. Her demeanor was that of another person. Recently her mom asked that I tell my mom that it was all a mistake and misunderstanding. The reasoning for that is due to my parents being financially more stable, and should we ever be in a bind, my parents would be able to help out more. So I took the bullet. We're now gonna start counseling at her insistance but I'm SO over it. I'm mainly going to have it on record that I tried, but bringing myself to finally end our relationship, and go thru all the emotions and financially hardships, let alone my daughters feeling is hard. I need to be happy and I'm not at all. She fails to realize/see that. Should I just straight out say in counseling that I want a divorce? Any real advice would be appreciated. (more...)
