Open Question: can i walk on somewhere?
heres the deal i basically messed up in high school i played varsity football my 9th and 10th grade years but started to skip school alot and my grades slipped so i couldnt play..but now im getting my diploma and planning on going to the community college but i live in fla and there are no community colleges with football teams here and im not trying to go way out to some juco in miss or cail so what im planning on doing is doing my two years at the community college get my grades right and get into great shape and then transter to a ucf usf or fau and walk on to there football programs now do u think i could do this im 6'2-6'3 i weight about 195 pounds i run a 4.5 and have great hands and run good routes.. Open Question: OU/Florida matchup breakdown- who wins?
Florida SHOULD win. Reasons: 1. Too many key players injured for Oklahoma. A) Demarco Murray, when healthy, is the best all-around offensive weapon in college football. He presents matchups as a RB, WR, KR, Wildcat QB, that keeps teams from being able to set a defense. Future Heisman winner if he stays healthy. B) Ryan Reynolds- the best run stuffing MLB in college football. The perfect answer to spy Tebow. Probably the only guy in college football tougher than Tebow. Seven time National Judo Champion! C) Demarcus Granger- one of the best run stuffing DT's in college football. Now the middle is wide open for Tebow! D) Austin Box- Oklahoma legend at QB and safety. Stepped in for Reynolds at MLB and came into his own against Texas Tech. 2. Special teams- This is by far the worst special teams in the history of OU football! No kicking, no coverage- you name it! 3. Precision spread offense- History shows us that timing spread offenses suffer the worst from long layoffs. If OU plays Florida the week after the conference championship games, OU rolls them up! Open Question: Which Branch is better for me the Army or Air force?
Im 18 well about to be 19 on february 1st. I have been going back and forth for 2 years now trying to decide which would be the best branch for me. I want do the reserve regardless of the branch. I want 2 still be able to attend college. I went to school for a semester last year and decide not to go back and just go ahead and join the military then return back to school i knw it sounds dumb of me but the military is really something I really have my heart set upon. I want to be able to stay home and still go to school after BT and technical school. But i just want to some advice on whats the best decsion 4 a somewhat prissy, likes to dress up but also likes to play football and basketball girl. May someone pls give me some guidance. (more...)

Of the 25 largest stadiums (or stadia) in the WORLD 11 of them are in America for American Football. Of the remainding 4 are for Cricket (3 in india). 10 are for principley Soccer. (typically for their respective national teams) Those huge stadiums in the USA (all college stadiums) are just the tip of the iceberg in America. There are hundreds more, which are just a degree smaller. if you want to help someone please read and help with whatever you can, it may not be the best litterature but im goin off my head with the best i can remember. PLEASE help im a 18 year old honor student male with even better street smarts and need to know whats wrong with me, i finally have talked to my mother about my feelings and have scheduled for a shrink next week. but here is my story i moved to a new smaller town in new york my tenth grade year it was great i was always happy was the only sophomore on the varsity even starting we won the state championship. everything was great then i became involved with a girl for 12 months who i fell in "love" with which shouldnt of happened at all. at that time about 6 months after my move i had made friends with everyone in the school and was tight with the highest group of kids in school the seinors.. so then i date this girl and when break up with her a year later she stalks me all around the town because she was one of those seinors while i was young she stayed home from college for meee which i never insisted. then that year after we started dating she stayed at the community college instead of taking d2 scholarships for softball, so after the brake up i thought life was gonna go back to normal start dating girls again since while dating the girl i had secretly slept with numerous girls that noone knew about. so i figured it would continue but the breakup was hard for my ex who kept harrasing all the girls i talked to and called me and text me daily for the next months. she beat up 3 girls and one of thier mothers because i was at their houses. then i started smoking pot everyday and binge drinking everyweekend to forget everything she was putting me through because i couldnt get another girlfriend. i know this girl is crazy now but it still got worse after her. then my seinor year after a amazing year in football the year before i tore my shoulder up which therefore i was done my big seinor year with intentions of colleges and myself to play at the next level. so now the story is at this year 2008-09 in my life since my break up with the girl i have smoked weed everyday, have not had a girlfriend because of the ex and all the girls in this 15 thousand people city dont want to date me cause of my ex not my looks..... She has recieve 4 felony charges yes felony 2 have been reduced but still happened from harrasment on girls that i talk to. so mixed with all the drama from the ex and the absence from the greatest sport every which i have recieved surgery on 3 months ago my lifeee is gonnee. now the girl has stopped contacting me as much so i have had chances to get with others but i just dont know how! since the breakup i was in a bad mood everyday plus smoking weed increased the moods deeper but i was in love with the high. so now a year later after not being with a girl sexually in 5 months and sleeping with 10 in my first year i am lost in the world at the worst time possible. i feel emotionless unless i am crying because i have the feeling of being lost in the world. i have many syptoms of deppresion such as i dont have any motivation which can come from marijuana,ive lost 20 pounds since ive moved here and now im 6`1 175 and can bench 200, i have been called a retard constently because of how i act around others in school which i would be the one to do that to others forever in the past, im anti social and have no new friends in the past year. i am a 90 average student with more street smarts than book smarts. everything from the past seems to be gone i feel that i cant remember how i was in my prime. i cant make friends.everytime i smoke i have anxeity and it continues into my soberness. i have a few left from the very beginging just because they know how muched ive changed and want me to get better. so i sit here and want to find out if im just depressed. or if its serious if i am bi-polar, have amneisa, or if my brain has just gone retarded.. idk it hurts soo bad to think of the past at all and where im at now and for the future of college so if anyone is out there and has any clue about my problem with my past history of being a smart jock with girls please help because its getting hard to hold on... ?? also with all of that though i have played it off pretty good to myself.. but obviouslyy not everyone else, im in a good middle class family when parents went to penn state and syracuse universitys so idk just had to get my story out there finally that im coming to myself to get help. Open Question: How can i get into a good university like UCLA, Michigan, UCSD?
Currently a sophomore and if you know any other colleges that i should take a serious look at please let me know. E.C's Key club, march of dimes, 100+ hours volunteering at nursing home, 50+ hours volunteering at library + top 10 in southwest for tennis, former top 100 in country now top 250, runningback for football, #1 on tennis, doing I.B classes, and plan on doing many more things in the coming year(s). (will getting a job help my chances, jw, i might need a job anyway so if it helps then it'd definately be worth it). (and also does travelling to different countries help lol?) Havent taken SAT yet, taken practice ACT and got a 28 first time. Open Question: Feedback on my story intro?
okay, so this is going to be my first book and it is about these girls who are all from a small town in lower Alabama.They are all high school seniors about to graduate. Well the main character, Anna, is going to go to school at Yale. Her best friends are all going to local schools. All except one, who is going to Harvard. But it is just so far off. Anna and her friends decide to start a traveling notebook that they can pass among each other throughout the year. After graduation they all go on a road trip together to Vegas. After they get back they have to start getting there stuff together for college. And when it is time to go, they give the notebook to Anna first, and they drew names for who gets it in what order. Well when she gets to Yale, Anna has trouble making friends until she meets Dylan (girl name) and they become pretty close. Dylan is from Georgia and she has had trouble adjusting to northern life too. (the weather, activities, etc.) and that is all i have planned out so far but i am thinking of TONS of ways the story can go from there. But anyways, here it is.... **************************************... "Mom? Has the mail ran yet?" Anna called her mom for the fourth time. She had been waiting for weeks and she was anxious. "Yea, it's on the table," her mom replied in a calm voice. How could she be calm at a moment like this? She ran to the table and grabbed the stack. There were three envelopes addressed to her. One was small, and the other two considerably larger. She opened the small one first. She was so nervous that she could barely get it open. With a shaking hand she pulled out the letter and unfolded it. "I didn't get in," Anna informed her mom in almost a whisper. Without speaking her mom grabbed her in her arms and started to comfort her. But Anna was not in the mood to hear it. She wanted to yell. "How could I not get in? I knew Harvard would be difficult to get in to, but I had perfect grades, I was the class president, I planned the prom, organized the blood drives and basically every program that was held at the school. I was even the yearbook editor. And apparently I'm not good enough for Harvard!" Anna was scared to call her best friends. They would understand, but she knew that Nadine had got in, and that would mean she got bragging rights. But they had always been there for her and she needed them now. So she picked up the phone and dialed Kayleigh's number. Sure enough, she answered and Nadine was there. Maybe she shouldn't tell Nadine right away. It might be best to tell her last. But she knew she couldn't do that to her. The best solution would be to tell them all at the same time. The place they usually met up at was Kayleigh's house, but that wouldn't do. Even though it was the most convenient, she would most likely be one of the first ones there and she couldn't have that. Not with Nadine over there right now. Maybe if they could all just come to her house, then it wouldn't be so bad. So she asked Kayleigh if they could come and within minutes, they were on there way. Next she had to call Elizabeth, Penelope, and Megan. They could all ride together so they were quick to come, too. While she was waiting on all of her friends to arrive, Anna went to the cabinet and got out a bag of popcorn. Then while it was poppin' in the microwave, she went to the coffee pot and put on a fresh pot. Although most people said they were too young for coffee, they had all drank it since they were little kids. Basically everyone where they lived drank coffee. She had often wondered if it was just that good, or if it had something to do with where they lived. Most likely where they lived. That did affect a lot of things about them. Like for example, their food, clothes, entertainment, and music. They ate deer meat, cornbread, and all sorts of Southern foods. For entertainment, they went to football games, rodeos, shopping in Mobile, and the going to the beach at the Gulf. Anna was pulled out of her train of thought when she heard the back door open. Her friends had given up knocking on the door long ago. They just walked in now. Anna turned and saw Kayleigh and Nadine walking in. They both had on blue jeans and a t-shirt but Kayleigh was rockin' her favorite pair of blue high-top Converses and Nadine had on a pair of Sperry's. They sat at the bar and looked at the stacks of mail. Shoot. Nadine saw the Yale and Princeton envelopes that she had forgot to put up. Anna hadn't even opened them yet, but she knew that Nadine would ask about Harvard. And as if on cue, Nadine chimed in. "Why haven't you opened your mail yet? I know you saw the college letters in the mail stack," she asked. "I just haven't gotten around to it yet," was all Anna could get out. Luckily she had put the Harvard letter and envelope in her room after she read it so Nadine wouldn't see that. But that couldn't stop her from thinking about it. That was basically all she talked about since receiving her a that last paragraph didn't quite fit.... sorry But i noticed how it was like the Traveling pants series when i read over it... but i actually got the idea from my friends... we have a notebook that we pass around from person to person... we have done it since i was in 7th grade and i just sorta put that in the story after i had the idea to write it....
