The Uintah Railway was a 75 mile railroad that operated from 1904 to 1939. It ran in northwestern Colorado from Mack, Colorado to Watson, Utah. Featuring the original film footage of the new 3 foot narrow gauge articulated locomotives in 1926 on the 7.5% grades of Baxter Pass. Our video combines the historic motion picture film from the Lucian Sprague family and the Colorado Railroad Museum archives with vintage photographs from the collections of several avid Uintah Railway enthusiasts. Modelers, historians, and photographers will all want to add this video of one of Colorado's most unique narrow gauge railroads to their collections.

I'm in the Business Professionals of America club and myself along with three other club members are participating in the Small Business Management competition. The scenario is that we have to start and manage a limousine business in Denver, Colorado (we live in houston, texas). We are trying to go all the way with this and so details are very crucial. One of them is commercial insurance. I have tried contacting Geico for insurance quotes, but they want me to give out information that I simply don't feel comfortable distributing since the business is artificial and I am not of age. Can any one give me an estimate or direct me to one? So Josh and I have been best friends for like 3 years now. I'm now going to college in New Orleans, and he stayed home in Colorado to go to school. Back in like September or October he texted me that he was bi. I am totally open about everything, so I didn't give a rats, and he knows that. Also, he knew I had feelings for him, and those feelings continued after he told me he was bi, because I didn't care! I confronted him about it and he led me to believe that we were more than friends. A couple weeks later, he tells me that he's been gay all along and I was the only person that he lied to and said he was bi! He apparently told everyone else except me that he was gay, but he decided to lie to me, his best friend, and on top of that he totally led me on! When I came home for Thanksgiving break I confronted him about it and he got really defensive and was playing the victim and refused to give me a sincere apology. I, valuing our friendship, let it go. It seemed like ever since then we've been pretty much back to normal, but all throughout Christmas break I've barely seen him. All he ever wants to do is go clubbing or go on dates with guys. When I talk to him on the phone or online, we're always talking about boys, and if I try to change the subject, he completely ignores me. He doesn't care about what's going on in my life, he only wants to talk about all the boys he's dating and all the clubs he goes to where he kisses random guys. He has totally changed ever since he came out! I've tried talking to him about it but he just denies everything and is always really rude to me about it. I've cried lots of times about our friendship, and he keeps insisting that I'm just being selfish and all I care about is myself. He seems like he hates being around me because I don't like to talk about boys. His priorities used to be his education and his family, but now his number one priority is to find a boyfriend who will love him. I personally believe that a relationship should not be at the top of a college sophomore's priority list, and I tell him that frequently. I always tell him that I love him unconditionally, but he thinks he needs a relationship to fulfill himself or something, so he pretty much jumps on the opportunity to date every guy who is willing, whether he likes them or not. He gets so mad when I point out how his behavior has changed. I know this is more of a rant than a question, but I am really depressed and frustrated about it all and I would like advice, or maybe even sympathy from someone who has gone through this. I don't bond with people very easily and he is without a doubt the closest friend I have, and I know if I lose him I'll be pretty much alone except for my family. I have other acquaintances, but no one that I enjoy spending time with as much as Josh, and definitely no one who understands me as well as he does. I'm hoping he'll snap out of it, but I don't really know what to do anymore. I just know that I am unbelievably sad right now. My little rattie Nigel who I really cared about died today, and all Josh wanted to talk about was how he kissed some boy last night. :'( (more...)

No surprise, then, that John Elway?s name keeps popping up. The Hall of Fame quarterback has been mentioned as a possible part of the management team that replaces Mike Shanahan, who was terminated as coach and executive vice president of football operations. No. 7 in the front office? Shanahan certainly believes Elway?s presence could be a good move for the Broncos. ?We know what John Elway means to Denver,? Shanahan said Wednesday at his farewell news conference. ?If I was a free agent coming in and John Elway was there, I?d sign for no money.? The idea isn?t so farfetched: Elway co-owns the Arena Football League?s Colorado Crush with Broncos owner Pat Bowlen. However, the ex-QB is lean on experience, his only front-office background coming from running the Crush, a team whose season is currently on hold as the league figures out its financial situation. ADVERTISEMENT On the field, there was nobody better?at least there?s very little debate about that in Denver. Shanahan?s arrival as coach helped Elway break through and finally win not one, but two Super Bowls. Elway was named MVP of the second one and strolled off into the sunset after that. He engineered 47 winning or game-saving drives in his career, and now, many in the Mile High City hope he?ll be called on for another kind of save. ?John Elway?s got lots of things to do,? Bowlen said. ?He?s got a business life of his own. He?s a very busy man ? I haven?t talked to John. I don?t have any idea if he has any interest.
