Easy Rider
Easy Rider This box-office hit from 1969 is an important pioneer of the American independent cinema movement, and a generational touchstone to boot. Resolved Question: I need to find a store like kinkos?
I live in Denver Colorado and need to blow up a picture (make it bigger not bomb it). I had a bad experience with ridiculously rude customer service at Kinkos and do not want to go back there or support it at any of its chains. Are there any other stores someone can suggest that would be able to blow up an image for me? There isn't anything to straighten out. The employees, not just one but several including a manager, were rude, mocked a customer in front of me, did not help me, skipped me in line several times, passed me off to other employees to stand on other lines. I timed it and I was standing on lines for 40 minutes when there was a total of 5 customers in the store, and two of those were doing something on a computer in the back. They weren't even in line. When I was in line, the employees skipped over me to the person behind me and didn't even say, 'i'll be with you shortly,' or acknowledge me in any way. I did not cause a scene nor was I rude. But I will not patronize that company again. (more...)

Resolved Question: Where should I stay in Durango, Colorado?
My fiance and I are taking a trip the end of December to Durango, Colorado. We heard this is a good place to take a romantic, yet eventful (lots of activities) trip. We are looking for a place to stay, but have no idea. I have looked on websites, and you can't tell much from pictures. I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions of where to stay. I guess we sort of prefer a cabin to really get the "Colorado" experience, but we also want a cabin that is somewhat nice/kept up. We are looking to be there about 4-6 nights, and we aren't wanting to spend more than $125/night. Hopefully we can find something close to a lake or something romantic. Otherwise, if that is out of question, then we are ok with staying in a hotel. Any suggestions?! Thanks! (more...)

Resolved Question: Should I try to deal with it even though I hate it here?
I was living with my dad in Georgia, but then he had to go back to active duty military. My mom is totally out of the picture, so my dad had me come live my aunt in Colorado. I love my aunt and my cousins, but honestly i hate everything else out here. I use to be pretty popular, and here i have no friends, because all the kids here have grown up together since they were toddlers, and they just don't want to accept me. Also my whole life use to pretty much revolved around band. I played oboe in concert band and did color guard in marching band. Here the band is HORRID and it only has 12 people, and there is no marching band what so ever (which means no color guard) I joined the Volleyball team to get involved with something else, but i just didnt like it. Band is just my thing. I've moved around a lot (this is like my 15th school) and I've never had problems fitting in or finding something i liked. but its not like that here. I actually think i might be getting slightly depressed. I don't feel like eating and i can't sleep, I've always had straight As and now I'm struggling to pass my classes. I'm thinking of talking to my aunt and calling my dad and seeing if i can move to Florida. we have some family friends down there, and I know lots of people there, and they have a rockin' color guard. I know my dad would okay with me living there, and they've already said I'm welcome. But it would be a major pain for everyone to move me there, but I really can't stand it here.But I really don't want to hurt my aunt's feelings, because she's done so much for me, and I know it hasn't been easy for her to just take on a teenager suddenly. What should I do? my cousins are only 5 and 1 i can't really confine in them. (more...)

Resolved Question: Moving to the boonies where the winter temps go to -30 degrees. What kind/brand of coat should I buy ($100)?
I grew up in Detroit and while it got cold, it never got that cold! Where I'm moving, winter temps regularly dip to -20 and -30 at night. I've only spent summers there, never winters, but I know that it is also incredibly windy (60mph winds regularly, come evening) More info here: http://www.city-data.com/city/Blanca-Colorado.html The temp scales listed there say that the daily lows in the winter time only get to around 0 or so, but I will be living outside the city and in the altitude of the mountains you see in those pictures. I have friends and family there--they've confirmed just how cold it usually gets. Anyway, all that I have for the time being is a $30 walmart coat. I know that I need something better, but I only have a $100 budget. Any recommendations on what kind of coat that I should buy or what brand? (more...)

Resolved Question: questions about engagement pictures?
I want engagement pictures, my fiance thinks it's unnecessary. Did you get them done? We've been engaged for a month and I'd like to take the pictures now so we can put them on the save the date cards that will go out in February. I'd also like to do it outside before it gets cold here in Colorado and to have the fall leaves in the background (since we DID get engaged in the fall). What should we wear for the pictures? I'm not a fan of big orange fall-looking sweaters. I certainly don't want us matching. Would it be odd if I wore a pink hoodie/jacket? We're going to the Caribbean to get married so we don't have a wedding photographer. At least not where we live. I don't want stuffy, formal portraits. I want fun, casual ones. It's not an oversized pink hoodie really. It's a pink zip up cotton jacket with a hood that I usually wear over a brown tank top. I just don't know about pink with fall leaves in the background is all...
