Roy Harris: Symphony No. 3; Symphony No. 4 'Folk Song Symphony'
Harris's Folk Song Symphony, his fourth, is an odd work, hardly a symphony in our usual use of the word. It was first performed in 1940 and is more of a cantata--it's a set of choral and orchestral arrangements of familiar songs, including "The Streets of Laredo," "When Johnny Comes Marching Home," "He's Gone Away," and a Negro spiritual or two. There's nothing particularly deep about it, but it's good entertainment. And Marin Alsop leads the Colorado forces with energy and what seems like true excitement. The briefer Third Symphony is a meatier work: it builds with suspense for its first half (it lasts about 18 minutes), has a fine fugue which features some exciting brass playing, and is concise and dramatic. Alsop gets intense playing from the orchestra. A very interesting piece, well played. --Robert Levine

Open Question: Looking for a reggae/dancehall radio station that streams online?
I live in Colorado where we don't have much for stations that play constant reggae music.
So I'm wondering if anybody knows of any online broadcasting stations which play mostly reggae and maybe some dancehall type music (both the classics and the new stuff), while providing song text info. I'd prefer a station that doesn't play hip hip and has limited commercial time. I don't really care where they are based.
I've searched the question, but didn't really find what I was looking for. Thanks in advance.

Open Question: HELP! Asset 1 (one) music....?
I am trying to figure out where I can find the Asset 1 CD....they are a Colorado based group from the early 90's....I'm pretty sure this is the name of the group...not sure if it's a 1 or one....I don't have much info....but, I am trying to find the CD soooooo hard! Resolved Question: Did Cassie Bernall technically commit suicide?
Whether or not it happened, for there is some question as to its authenticity. But either way, I was listening to the song "Cassie" by the band Flyleaf. The song is about an alleged exchange, between Cassie Bernall and one of the gunmen in the Columbine shootings, in Colorado. Wherein a gunmen asked her if she believed in god, and then shot her when she said yes, leading to her death.
Now my question isn't so much did Cassie herself "commit" suicide. but more to do with the lyrics in the song, and the question they led me to wonder. (Its easier to ask the question I did rather than the one i would like answered)
The lyrics that led to my question:
"The question asked in order
To save her life or take it.
The answer no, to avoid death.
The answer yes, would make it.
Do you believe in God?
Written on the bullet.
Say yes, to pull the trigger.

Written on the bullet.
And Cassie pulled the trigger."
and then at the end of the song

The part at the end is what mainly sparked my curiosity. In which Lacey Mosley, the lead singer, affirms that she to, if put into that position, would answer yes.
SO... The question is... If you were put in that exact situation. Where you are fully aware that if you answer yes... you are going to die. Would that technically constitute, a suicid.
I'm not much for the religion, my self, and am as such, no theologian . But doesn't God help "he who helps himself?

Resolved Question: The 'band beach' house has a song called "gila", what do they mean?
The band 'beach house' has a song called "Gila", what does the word mean that gives the meaning to the song? It seems like it should have some significance, but the only defenition I come up with is a river that flows through the colorado. There are several things named 'gila' the gila monster, the gila river, a song...so what's the importance of the word?
