Open Question: How much does commercial vehicle insurance cost with Geico?
I'm in the Business Professionals of America club and myself along with three other club members are participating in the Small Business Management competition. The scenario is that we have to start and manage a limousine business in Denver, Colorado (we live in houston, texas). We are trying to go all the way with this and so details are very crucial. One of them is commercial insurance. I have tried contacting Geico for insurance quotes, but they want me to give out information that I simply don't feel comfortable distributing since the business is artificial and I am not of age. Can any one give me an estimate or direct me to one? Here's the information: - Four vehicles: 2 regular SUV's, 1 regular stretch limousine & 1 Hummer limousine -The location is 80202 (Downtown Denver, Colorado) *If you have any other information whether it's a recommendation to another insurance company or whatever that WILL be much appreciated. Open Question: I'm a rookie, but getting WAY into snowboardin!?
I live in the Midwest with that mixed sometimes good sometimes icy snow. Maybe a trip out to Colorado every-now-and-then. I've skiied for like 15 years or more, and just switch to the board, and its a whole other world, and I'm loving it. I've been out only 3 times on a board, but some of the other beginners in my group say I am like a fish to water with it.... So I got this board on hold at snowboarding pro-shop. I dont want to spend over $400 and this package w/tax is a hair over...no biggie. I got an Artec Gabe Taylor Wide-Board...seems like for the money from the proshop guys, its a great overall board, better than even the Burton Board package. I havent heard much of this failry new company, and wanted to know if any boarders out there know anything good/bad about the board. I also have a set of Burton Mission Bindings and Burton G boots in the package, if ya know anything about those too! Thanks (more...)

Today I recieved 2 phone calls attempting to gather information from 2 seperate companies located in the Denver/Boulder Colorado area. These calls came within 10 minutes of each other. the company i work for is relocating in a town that is an hour away. i do not wish to commute, nor will i be compensated if i do. in the state of Colorado, can i file for unemployment because of an unreasonable relocation distance? i'm not fired, but i have to quit because of the distance. can i still file unemployment, when my only option is to quit? no no no i'm not quitting.... i'd keep the job if they stayed. and if they could have me work from home even... Resolved Question: The mortgage holder of this house is deceased, can the bank foreclose with quitclaim deed?
I live in Colorado and 2.5 years ago my grandmother bought a house and signed a quitclaim deed leaving it to me. When she died two years ago, we called the mortgage company and they told us we could keep making payments on the house. My husband recently lost his job and I had a baby, and because of this we've fallen behind on our payments and the lender is threatening foreclosure. But they keep sending letters and calling for my deceased grandmother. In Colo, with a quitclaim deed leaving the house to me, can they legally foreclose on the house or can we keep it even if payments are not made? I'm confused on "due on sale" clauses and liens and such issues. Please help me, especially if you're knowledgeable on these areas. Thanks! (more...)

No surprise, then, that John Elway?s name keeps popping up. The Hall of Fame quarterback has been mentioned as a possible part of the management team that replaces Mike Shanahan, who was terminated as coach and executive vice president of football operations. No. 7 in the front office? Shanahan certainly believes Elway?s presence could be a good move for the Broncos. ?We know what John Elway means to Denver,? Shanahan said Wednesday at his farewell news conference. ?If I was a free agent coming in and John Elway was there, I?d sign for no money.? The idea isn?t so farfetched: Elway co-owns the Arena Football League?s Colorado Crush with Broncos owner Pat Bowlen. However, the ex-QB is lean on experience, his only front-office background coming from running the Crush, a team whose season is currently on hold as the league figures out its financial situation. ADVERTISEMENT On the field, there was nobody better?at least there?s very little debate about that in Denver. Shanahan?s arrival as coach helped Elway break through and finally win not one, but two Super Bowls. Elway was named MVP of the second one and strolled off into the sunset after that. He engineered 47 winning or game-saving drives in his career, and now, many in the Mile High City hope he?ll be called on for another kind of save. ?John Elway?s got lots of things to do,? Resolved Question: Has anyone done business with EZ Credit Warehouse?
I recently financed a new Restonic queen sized bed through a company called EZ Credit Warehouse. A few days after I received the bed, I received a call from someone who said that they were with Majr Financial in Colorado and were the ones financing my bed. They were calling to confirm all of my information to make sure they had everything right for my payments. It was set up so that my payments would be due on the 20th of every month. Today, I received a statment in the mail from a company called Oak Rock Financial in New York regarding the financing of my bed. It said that the seller of my bed was Fairplay Financial and that my payment would be due on the 15th of every month. I am TOTALLY confused and I don't like this at all. It's like 2 different finance companies are trying to get me to send in 2 separate payments due on different dates. Does anyone have any information on this? I don't even know who to contact to find out who is actually financing my bed and where to mail my payments to. Please help! (more...)
