Open Question: Could I get some help with staying focused? ?
Hello I a seventeen year old, and a senior in high school. I plan on going to a university next year, and eventually my dreams are to go to medical school and become some kind of doctor. Ive always been a pretty smart guy, just not very motivated and i began to notice my grades in school went down drastically in 9th grade compared to the 8 years of grade school before that. i never really fit in with people, i dont know it just seems they dont get me.. but anyways im just worried that my study habits might carry on to college and i dont want them to..it just seems sometimes ill be extremely focus and at other times i cant even look at my paper. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or reasons why i am like this.. ive been trying to figure it out for quite a long time and im ready for some help. im ready to get ready of the racing thoughts and get down to business.

Open Question: Are you adjusting your long term financial plan based on Obama's promised ?
multi-trillion dollar spending spree?
The whole theory behind contributing to a tax deferred retirement account is that hopefully you will be paying less of a tax percentage when you withdraw the money at or during retirement compared to the tax percentage that you would currently pay.
For example, I'm advising my friends and clients to start splitting their contributions between post and pre-tax retirement plans, my favorite being the Roth 401k. It's important for hard working people to realize that the only real way to repay these debts is via taxation, and that we need to protect ourselves now from astronomical tax rates in the future.
So the reality of the issue being that either we raise taxes to pay our debt, or we pay by leveraging our national resources to foreign countries - what is the best plan here?
If I was President, my plan to raise capital would be rooted in the leasing of liberal college students to communist countries so they could come back home with some respect for America.
Greshnab - the debt will still be there in 10-20 years - it doesn't go away when Obama does, unfortunately.

Open Question: I wanna feel happy..............................?
I am 14 and my brother is rich (houses, parties, cars).I'm making nothing while he making 20mil a year(his stupid company).The funny thing he is only 22 I am jelous. I always live in his shadows. Teachers keep reminding me how good he was at everything. I see his picture and football uniform on the gym wall. My parents always talk him not me. He even has goodlooks to even to his handwriting. I look like a piece of **** compared to him. I said i got a scholarship for basketball and he goes like will I played college football. I can't beat him anything.The only thing I could depend on is on a basetball scholarship. I signed a family contract that if you don't you make to the NBA I will sucide. Nopoint on living. I wanna know what makes you happy and change my view on my life. Life is unfair. I wanna say fack you ...shots fire maybe not shots fire but you get the point.

Open Question: Need help with my relationship>>Please Answer?
For the past couple of months me and my gf have been arguing more than usual...she always seem to make me seem like the bad person...I am the one who makes this relationship work...I provide all the entertainment and pay for everything...recently I have feeling there is better for me out there...we are only in out early twenties(in college)..but at the same time I don't wanna lose her..she is pure.The fact that she has only been with two guys makes me love her even more..I don't like women that have been with too many guys...what should I do..? She makes me feel insufficient when I know other girls out there that bf's don't compare to me.I treat her better than most other guys I know treat their gf's(I'm not a pushover or chump though).the things I do and how I treat her is what I think most women would like, which i think she is becoming a bit spoiled because of this...How can I encourage her to either change and start contributing to the relationship? or should I cut my losses and find someone else??
I know i am doing what I'm suppose to do but this girl makes me feel unappreciated...?

Open Question: What should I do. Don't have a clue anymore.?
Here's my problem. I passed the entrance test to one of the three well-known colleges I've been dying to go to since I was a high school freshman. I took a premed course since I want to be a doctor, something I wanted to be since I was 9. Now, every one knows that this is one of the career paths that take a long, long time just to pursue it. Now my dad's urging me to take an entrance test from another school so I could take a course I don't really want to take. It's a good school, but just a minor league player compared to the school that I got in. I've been pretty steadfast in my decision until an hour ago, when he told me that he'd probably die before I graduate. It broke my heart. I'm the first-born of four children and I probably owe him a college diploma to see before he...goes. He's already 60 and I love him like hell won't have it. He'd been single-handedly earning for us for the past 20 years until he retired about a month ago. Now I don't know what to do, chase my dream down or let my dad have his way?

Open Question: Please help! It's about transferring credits to university?
I'm currently doing dual credits over at University of arlington, and tcc (texas). I'm and undeclared major but would like to major in biology. The classes over at tcc are much cheaper and easier compared to a university. So I've been taking some of my sciences classes over at the junior college to transfer credits. Is that wrong to do if I'd want to possibly go to a pharmacy or medical school later because there wont be any grade on them science classes, but just the credits, therefore wont be able to calculate a gpa for me?? Does anyone know if I'd have to repeat those science classes at the university for a grade? :( Please advise me and tell me what you know. Thank you.
