Chicago Cutlery Chilean Cherry Hardwood Cutting Board, 13-1/2-by-9-1/2-Inch
Chicago Cutlery Chilean Cherry Hardwood Cutting Board, 13-1/2-by-9-1/2-Inch For chopping fresh vegetables for a chef's salad or slicing a succulent ham, not every kitchen comes equipped with an adequate cutting board. After crafting fine cutlery for 75 years, Chicago Cutlery well understands that chopping tasks demand a proper cutting surface. The Woodworks line provides a variety of attractive yet practical cutting boards to implement the standard kitchen, while also providing the convenience of mobility for the household chef. For medium and small cutting tasks like paring apples, slicing cheese, and mincing garlic, Chicago Cutlery offers this useful prep board.

The prep board is crafted from beautiful kiln-dried Brazilian cherry wood. The quality construction not only protects kitchen counters and tabletops from abrasions, but also helps thwart dulling to knife blades. A shallow grooved border collects juices while expediting clean up. Reversible, chefs can opt to use one side of the carving board for meats exclusively and reserve the other side for vegetables, fruits, and breads for enhanced food safety. The prep board also can double as a serving platter for serving hors d'oeurves. For the best care, wash by hand and dry immediately. Soaking and use of abrasives may damage the long-term efficacy and beauty of the prep board. Chicago Cutlery offers a lifetime guarantee for all products in the event of faulty materials or workmanship. The prep measures 13-1/2 by 9-1/2 inches and weighs two pounds upon shipping. --Jessica Reuling

Resolved Question: Did Ian Brown get a raw deal when he was sentenced to prison?
He was given a 4 month prison sentence, but Peter Buck & Liam Gallagher got off free for similar offenses. Ian Brown In 1998, he was sentenced to 4 months in jail for air rage, after a threatening of a stewardess with plastic cutlery, offering to cut her hands off on a flight. Peter Buck On April 21, 2001, Buck was aboard a transatlantic flight from Seattle to London to play a concert at Trafalgar Square. Witnesses alleged that Buck exhibited various bizarre behaviors on the flight, including shoving a CD into a drinks trolley thinking it was a CD player, tearing up the "yellow card" warning notice handed to him by the flight crew, claiming "I am R.E.M." and being involved in a struggle over a yogurt pot with two stewards, which resulted in the exploding of the pot. Buck's actions led to two charges of common assault on the stewards, one charge of being drunk whilst on a plane, and one charge of damaging British Airways cutlery. Liam Gallagher After an incident of air rage (apparently over a scone) on a flight to Australia, Gallagher was banned for life from Cathay Pacific airlines. Gallagher claimed he would "rather walk" MQ: Song or Album titles relating to air travel or aeroplanes (more...)

Voting Question: I would like to have some advise for my son's second bday coming up in a week time?
I am pregnent from my second child and my first son's second bday is coming up in a week time. I am roughly around 10 weeks pregnent and my energy levels are extremely down. I wanted to do some thing on his bday but my energy levels and nausea put me away. Initially I thought of having a small bday party of 20 people around lunch time and get the food catered from outside. I thought of having his parents over , my parents and 6 of our close friends. His family and my family doesn't get along so I thought of having some friends over to that day so the atmoshere won't be tense. But from last couple of days my energy levels are very down and I feel just lying on the couch. Having people over seems like lot of work for me. Even though I am catering food from outside but before the party I have get the place clean, get paper plates, cutlery arranged, decorate the house a bit, have loot bags ready for the kids. I thought of a second option which is that on the 13th me and my husband and his parents and 2 brothers go to a nice lunch buffet and then afterwars cut a cake for my little one. And on 14th Dec we go out with my side of the family which includes 2 of us, my son, 1 sister, 2 brother and my parents to a different restaurant. And do the same thing cut a cake afterwards. Any suggestions about my seond option. ? Please give me some advise. I am so confused about this. Last year we celebrated our son's first bday very nicely, have roughly around 35 kids, and did lot of fancy things. This year because I am expecting and in my first trimester, I wanted to do some thing easy (more...)

Resolved Question: Am I showing signs of Dyspraxia?
Well, some of you may have saw my " I'm 18 and I can't tie my shoes, is that bad? " question, but I learned about this Dyspraxia, and I was thinking what if I have it. A website I visited said these were the signs: * Difficulty in dressing and tying shoelaces * Difficulty using cutlery * Poor balance, awkwardness in gait, general clumsiness * Difficulty riding a bike * Difficulty in physical education classes due to difficulty with hopping, skipping, and throwing/catching a ball * Poor reading skills * Illegible handwriting due to an inability to grasp a pen or pencil properly * Trouble remembering/following instructions, suffers from a poor short term memory in general * Difficulty copying from the blackboard * Speech problems, and difficulties in general with self-expression * Impatience * Poor social skills, emotional immaturity * Phobias or obsessive behaviors * Sensitivity to touch, an intolerance to having hair and nails cut, or teeth and hair brushed * Poor sense of direction * Confusion as to which hand to use for a task * Difficulty in muti-step tasks such as brushing teeth due to an inability to remember the order of steps that need to be taken. Well, I really don't know how to tie my shoes, so I end up having my parents do it for me, and I'm 18. I'm Impatient most of the time. I have chicken scratch handwriting that no one, not even me, can read correctly, and I try hard fixing it, but no such luck I suck at following directions and I do tend to forget things, alot. And I am really clumsy! My parents did say I have "mood swings" And I like to bite my nails! But I'm really good at reading and writing, so that's weird. Help me, what's wrong? (more...)

Resolved Question: Why can I predict injury to myself or partner?
Usually I get a strong image in my head of a cut or damage to a hand or foot. Then it repeats over 3 days untill either I or my partner get this injury - exactly where I predict it. During this time I am ultra aware of sharp things like cans or cutlery - yet it still happens somehow. I have also held my partners arms and touched a scar - and imediately saw her perspective of how it happened - through her eyes. One I touched I saw the floor - as if my head was on the floor, there was an argument and I saw a broken green glass bottle. She confirmed all this as true. How can I see this from touching a scar ? Voting Question: Family problems, Your opinion please?
Hi, Im 17 years old and i live in england. I am 6 foot 4, 18.04 stone in weight I got no father and a mother, two brothers and a nan. Basicly ever since i was little my big brother bullied me extremely, he even told me to rob shops or he'd beat me up. My mum once gave him the choice to go and live with his other family in the east (Jordan). He went to the east, hes come back at the age of 16 and he was ok for like 1 month, Then he got to know my friends and started despising me, Intimidating me like he used to, Making me feel uncomfortable in my house and indeed made me ill. Hes assualted me 6 times alltogether. Hes trashed my room also, Hes gave me a black eye. Im not a wussy but i dont hit my own family whatever the consequence. My mum has had boyfriends and because hes (muslim/eastern culpture) he seems to think he can run up into her room and start fighting with her partner thinking its A muslim world when its indeed a british U.K country... Ive always protected her on this and always backed her up, Last time this happened i got the heat as usual, He came into my room and smashed 3 glasses and broke my mini fridge + plastic cabenet , Previous cases he and she have knocked over my dvd shelf (quite big, I pay for my stuff out my own funds mainly), Hes also took the lids off bottles of my washing gel and put it all over my floor. From then i stopped caring about my room and myself, Never came downstairs either. hes been kicked out about 10 times and she always has him back, She said she swore this time she'd never have him back after what he did to me. He was back in the house a week later (but hes my son) (Hes also 20 almost 21 years old with no job). She wonders why i dont take my cutlery and my bowls/plates down, Because i dont want to pass him because i hate him that much after the way hes made my life, hes never done anything but caused me trouble. Cut a long story short, Hes brang drugs into the house. hes woke us all up a number of times after being out drinking... Im getting to the point where im so angry that i would acually end up killing them all in there sleep, Just for the pay back of longterm neglect. I was hit when i was a child by my mums lodger, She used to ask him to do it to me to "teach me a lesson", While others would be out playing around my age i would be lawn mowering or gardening or helping him with his stupid cars. Whenever i bring this up, Im just "exagerating/over the top". Out of longterm my anger is acually bubbling up and im getting to that point where ill acually kill all of them. Ive asked her to let me go to social services but she refuses to sign the papers (Im under the age of 18). My life is a misery because of her and my brother. I dont get along with my younger brother because hes a brat, Iff i did half the stuff he did id of got hit into a corner or punched/kicked. Or maybe the broom would of got whacked across my back several times... She thinks im acually joking when i tell her to stop what shes doing and let me go, Im telling her that shes making me very angry and ive delt with it long enough, Ok ... i dont help around the house, I dont clean my room either. "I dont like living in my room? I feel uncomfortable to even get a drink from downstairs so ill dehydrate instead.) When he was kicked out for that week, all of my cutlery and dirty clothes were being taken downstairs, I was feeding the animals (my dog and 3 cats). I was also hanging out the washing being part of a family more iff you know what i mean... He even leaves my dog outside in the pouring rain and ignores him when hes barking, it makes me so angry i just want to stick a knife in his heart. Im seriously getting to the point where ill acually turn mad and i cant deal with it anymore, Ive begged her to sign the papers so i can go into a ballstall (childrens offenders home) or somthing yet she refuses and tells me to go and sleep under the Pier. What is your advice on this? Ive spoken to my nan, She knows i was treated badly by that man when i was young, She also knows how my big brother has treated me all my life and she understands where im coming from. (Yeh ok, Im not easy to talk to because apparrently im annoying) Because i want to talk and have a laugh? My mums friend Debbie also was hit by her father when she was young, shes 48 years old but talks to me alot, She says she understands where im coming from, That its not fair on me. I just want your opinions on what you think , Thats iff i get any... Ill appreciate all opinions as long as they arent too offencive. Thank you. Thanks for your answers, I cant move out, I have no money but im going to start saving so i can leave as soon as im 18. Also ive tryed all those relaxation things and they dont work... Im quite mature for 17 years old and dont have many friends because i know most of them you cant trust and just cause you more trouble, I got 2 close mates from back in the early days of my school. But they cant take me in, Also Debbie wouldnt let me move in with her. I wouldnt go to jail because id stab myself afterwards so i dont have to deal with yet more consequence, ive felt about the wrist slicing but id like a faster way of letting myself go iff im going to do it because it will proberbly hurt too much... I was thinking about rubarb leaves in a stew (highly poisioness) Ive searched up about it and that most people who are poisioned with rubarb die in there sleep or instantly when awake. I asked my mum to help me with a job yet shes refused and put me into college. seriously need out Ive woke up this morning to get a lemon hot drink because i got a bad chest infection and a sore throat, She starts shouting at me telling me not too touch anything because ill spread it. (i caught it from her in the first place...) Then she says shes against me and shes going to back him up and that i need a beating, Speaking to me like a child. When infact she needs the beating, They all need a proper beating... I would ask my nan to let me move in but i wouldnt want to cause her the stress, She went through cancer then theropy, Not once.. But twice.......... Thats what they dont Understand, Im beyond the point of acually regreting somthing iff i did it. Ive called the police a number of times, Apparrently hes got 70 hours community service but i know shes lieing because i would of had to go through court and i would of received a letter. The police are trying to contact my mum by phone to ask her the circumstances and next time he rings me im gonna tell him the truth so i can get out of here. I dont deserve having to live like this... its making me so unhappy id seriously prefer to be dead. Thanks for all the replys, I wish it made me feel better but like i said. Im beyond that point. I hate them so much i just want them dead and gone, I wish that they just DIED. I even just now went to make another hot lemon because im ill. She says (OH YOUR COMING FOR MORE TROUBLE NOW?) Im acually sick of this .. Im going to report it all to the social service's then shes gonna be sorry because shes going to lose her youngest son because of this. I have no school counciller or anything, I got kicked out of both my schools because i would go there and get bullied aswell for being the quiet one, Once i leased my anger and beaten up 7 people, smashed a lot of windows and beat up my head teacher. Nothing to be proud of but when i lose it, I lose it. That was when i was 13 years old aswell. Now im 17. I will seriously slice them up iff they do not stop this and i will give them no mercy. Just like ive had no mercy, Just like when i was hit when i was young. There like rodents to me, I need to get a mouse-trap to rid of these bastards, I cant hold out for much longer. my birthday is in june, i definately cant hold out until then. ive delt with this for about 10 years or more... I told my nan, I told debbie and other people but they wont acually take action. So im gonna have to ring up the social services myself and tell them alot of things just so i can leave here. No he doesnt even talk to me, its the point of hating him so much for the problems and things hes done to me, and knowing he'll just do it again and again throughout the months/years. I dont wanna deal with it anymore... (more...)

Resolved Question: What can I do about a care home that thinks I belong to them?
It's becoming like Nazi jurisdiction in here. I am in here voluntary and recently they've been doing all this really stupid stuff. First it was the tuck shop they stopped selling chocolate crisps and coke cos they wanted everyone to take up eating these stupid birdseed bars instead and it was like whats it to you if I dont wanna eat healthy. In the end I just left it. But there coming out with all these stupid safety stuff all the time now like there cutting down all the trees outside the home in case a branch falls on top of one of us. Honestly were all adults in here but were getting wrapped up in cotton wool like babies. Its really p*ssing me off and today I complained and they actually said "You live in here so you belong to us." How can they say that? Surely there must be something legal I can do if thats what they think of us. I wonder when we'll all start having to use plastic cutlery at meal times. I've complained to the home manager and my social worker, but they all stick up for each other. We're not supposed to drink in here either, but they've been getting to me so much recently Ive just gone stuff your rules and getting drunk in my room every night. Before you answer I'd just like to point out that this is a care home, not a Nursing home which is a different thing. No nurses work here only care workers. Yes, I can leave, but where do I go from there? A cardboard box? Have you tried getting a council house in the North of Scotland? Someone in here has been waiting 3 years for the coucil to get her out. I don't have the money to rent private either. reward it is a private home, and everyone is supposed to pay £410 a week although they take £400 in Incapacity benefit from me a Month and claim £200 housing benefit. Also there is an old man they took his war pension and life insurance policy off him and he still has to pay. He is very bitter because of it. Nothing they do in here seems right but they seem to get away with it. I asked about the money I should be getting and I was basically told to shut up and stop digging around o.0 Yeah well quizzard, been diagnosed with a mental health problem recently, do you hear voices? If not, then get lost. I hate tories like you who think life living on the state is all cushy. I wish the state would s*d off and leave me alone to be perfectly frank. Don't need their help or their pittance. Oh yeah and everything I said was a sample of the stuff that goes on in here. I didn't tell you about the guy that was in here last year tried to rape me and the staff wouldn't even let me speak to the police. The fact that he broke a window was like 100x more important apparently. (more...)
