Speak Low
In May of 1968, Lew Soloff got the call to replace Randy Brecker in a fledging jazz/rock band called Blood, Sweat and Tears. The band became a immediate hit, selling millions of albums and winning a Grammy Award for their initial release. Since then, he has become one of New York's "first call" trumpeters and has never lost his love for jazz, which is apparent in his 1987 album, Speak Low.

Open Question: With gas prices going up.....again.... I was wondering if anyone could explain....?
this wierd thing that I noticed when I fill up my tank. I have a digital read out that says how many miles I can go as it measures my gas. I have recently had an oil change, the milage I get per gallon has not changes significantly, but now when I fill up my reader only goes up to around 380, versus the 420 it was reading at a fill up. I know the temp can change this, but the weather goes up and down all the time here, drastically, and that does not seem to be the cause. So does anyone have a clue? I am just curious.

Open Question: Why does my HDTV flicker with pixels during digital channel broadcast?
Hi,
We have a Phillips HDTV model 32PF7421D/37. I checked our model online and sources say it's an HDTV model. We do not subscribe to any satellite or cable. We use rabbit ear antennas to receive channels. We are able to get both Analog and their corresponding digital channels. On some channels, the digital quality is very good, depending on the weather. On some channels, mainly CBS, ABC and NBC networks, the digital channels are full of flickers during the entire broadcast all the time. By flickers I mean we can see the "digital" pixel boxes.
What is the problem? Thanks!

Resolved Question: Need recommendations for a digital camera.?
I am looking for a good, solid digital camera for taking some amateur photos. I'm not looking for any kind of serious, professional camera, and a relatively small, cheap one would be nice.
I think I will be doing a *lot* of landscapes and weather (skies, sunsets, panoramas, things like that) but obviously, I'd like a reasonably versatile camera, to take shots of my friends and family also.
My budget is about $250-ish NZ dollars, so approx $150 USD, I think. a camera around that price would be good.
So if anyone could recommend a camera that suits my specifications, I would be very grateful.

Resolved Question: The new DTV Transition?
If you were to ask me i think this is a huge mistake on this new Digital Television..If you live in a state that is known for Severe Weather or even want to get your local news and already have a satelite then you know how hard it is to get a signal during a storm or even on a cloudy day ..News cast during Severe Storms are not easy to get and the warnings such as Tornado, Fire Etc, are going to gone and deaths tolls are going to rise because of people not being warned in enough time... What do you all think about this good ideal or not ?
