"Super Stars of Dance" sorta pointless? I mean, let's face it, the U.S. is the entertainment capital of the world, and that also means that a lot of the styles of dance people find entertaining come from there. The other countries are doing traditional dances that cannot be critiqued simply because of the fact that they are TRADITIONAL/CULTURAL dances. Also, dance is emotional expression through movement, and each culture has it's own ideas as to which sorts of movement constitute a "good" dance. So how do you critique someone elses's culture when you're measuring it up against your own. There are forms of movement everyone finds entertaining (like street dance: breaking, popping, locking, etc.) but the ones usually shown by countries other than the U.S. are only held in high regard within their respective countries And before you say anything, this has PLENTY to do with Politics. The porn industry is in California too. I mean,...why not just symbollically attack them, to prove how much they think it's evil and bad,..instead of attacking Washington and NY,..that would just prove that they're bitter, stupid idiots, who are just angry about goverment and political policies, which has NOTHING to do with the American people or the American value system, or our "religion" or anything, it's simply politics. If that's all it is, then why don't they just SAY that? That it's our governments fault they're hating on us, and their involvement in foreign affairs? I mean, I don't get it. They say "we're not muslim and we are the great satan because of our lifestyles" but then then turn around and say that they hate our leaders and what THEY stand for and our involvement in overseas affairs... I mean what is it?!?! It would appear to me that they're just mad period, they just want to destroy because that's all they know, and they're using us as an excuse, because we're one of the biggest, baddest, loudest countries out there, and that's that. I really think that's all there is to it, and there's no real concrete and justifiable reason. (not that I ever thought anything they did was justifiable, but they just really don't seem to know what the heck they're attacking in the first place). I mean it's simple. You hate American ideals, and the filth it pollutes the world with? Well that would be all those dvds, cds, cassettes, clothing, etc.....well gee...then why attack a place that controls trading with companies that are multi national and have to do with selling computer parts possibly, items that people need like walmarts, etc...other fortune 500 companies,..why aim at British/American types....it makes no sense....aiming at a movie studio (NOT saying they should) but that would have made ALOT more sense. They just make NO sense, and they totally twist their religion and make it look really bad. btw, if I sound confused or a bit jumbled up, it's because I am! i have absolutely no idea what they really want, other than, totally ridiculous and senseless destruction. Oh, and tarnishing the Islamic/Muslim religion ,and making it look bad. Trying to take out our government and economy is stupid because it's a very broad attack. You're attacking "everyone" in the country by doing that, even the innocents. They're being wayyyy over-general, and they should know that not everyone in the country is responsible for what they're against. that's just completely stupid.
