What i'm trying to ask yahoo world is somebody make this more modern for me. I took a few pieces from a book just to see how would it sound. My story is based in 1990 and Sincere Frazier is a well respected drug kingpin at the age of 27 and claims to earn his money from real estate. I just need it to sound more modern and interesting. Thanks a million. Many friends and many others received engraved invitations to the wedding of Miss Jasmine Frazier, to be celebrated on the last Saturday in July 1990. The older brother of the gorgeous bride, Sincere Frazier, never forgot his roots and old friends though. Sincere himself now lived in a huge mansion in Upstate New York. The reception would be held in that house and the festivities would go on all day. There would not be any 'gangsters' in attendence so there would not be any nagging fear for the 'good' people. A wedding was just what everyone needed to show their joy. In Brooklyn a drug war had claimed the lives of twelve people, seven innoncent, and this was what people needed to calm down. And on that Saturday morning the friends of Sincere Frazier streamed out of New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Down South, and other surrounding areas to do him honor. They all bore cream-colored envelops stuffed with cash as bridal gifts, no checks. A card placed inside each envelope established the identity of the giver and the measure of the person's respect for the Boss. A respect truly earned. Sincere Frazier was a man, despite his tender age of twenty seven, everybody came to for help, and they never were disappointed. He made no empty promises, nor the must used excuse 'I don't got' or 'I don't got nothing to do with that'. It was not necessary that he be your friend, it was not even important that you had no means with which to repay his services. Only one thing was required. That you, you yourself, proclaim your friendship. And then, no matter how poor or powerless the person, God would take that man's troubles to his heart. And nothing would stand in his way for what he had to do for his friend. His reward? Friendship, the respectful title of "God," and sometimes the more affectionate salutation of "Uncle God." And just to show respect was all he wanted in return. Never for profit, a humble gift-a homecooked meal or a basket of oranges (his favorite). It was well understood, as it was good manners, to proclaim that you were in his dept and that he had the right to call upon you at any time to redeem your debt by some small service. Now on this great day, his baby sister's wedding day, Sincere Frazier stood in the doorway of his Old Westbury mansion to greet his guests, all of them known, all of them trusted. Most of them owed their good fortune, or at one point their lives, to God. Even the people performing caterings were his friends. The bartender was an old friend whose gift was all the wedding liquors and his own expert skills. The waiters were the friends of Sincere's brothers and sisters. Sincere Frazier received everyone- rich and poor, powerful and humble- with an equal show of love. He slighted no one. That was his character. And the guests so exclaimed at how well he looked in his tux that an inexperienced observer might easily have mistaken him for the groom. Standing at the entrance with him were his cousin and brother. His brother Demetrius but called D-Nice by everyone except the Frazier family, was looked at with admiration by the younger crowd. Dee was short and thin, but was considered handsome by the ladies, mainly due to the dimple in his left cheek, and his smooth haircut that sported styling waves. But on this particular day Dee was glad to be home. He had just finished serving a term on Rikers Island to await trial for murder. He was scheduled to talk to Sincere later on as so many were. Frisco, born Michael, was Sincere's cousin. He was a child every mother prayed for. Dutiful, loyal, and always at the service of his father. He was tall (almost six feet), and was also handsome but considered careless. At the age of nineteen he was the youngest member in Sincere's organization who was in charge of a large crew. After several bad haircuts in the past, I am paranoid with making myself overly specific of what I want to the person cutting and styling my hair. I have had medium length, same length medium hair since I was like 13. I've styled it differently as I grew up, but the cut has been the same since puberty. I want a change but don't know exactly what I want. I am torn between two styles. The one style I want is an "inverted bob" or a "pob"; where the hair is shorter in the back and gradually becomes longer towards the front. I like this style but do NOT want it where my hair is so short it is basically shaved in the back. So I am hesitant on this style because of that. The other style I really like..I don't know the name of. All I can do is tell you guys a description of it and show you a picture of a character in a movie who has the haircut I want. The hairstyle has the same factor as the "pob" because it has two chunks of hair in the front that are significantly longer than the back. But unlike the "pob", the back of my hair would be all the same length, but shorter than the two chunks of hair in the front. Sorry if I'm not making a lot of sense..I really don't know how to explain it good and I'm afraid of rambling on to the hairdresser and getting a bad haircut because of it. The picture is of Sinclair from the movie Doomsday. The picture's a bit grungy, but you guys can see what I mean. Well,Me and this boy named Donner used to be really good friends when we was in first grade to third. But now we act like strangers to one another. I had a crush on him for like ever and in second grade he told everyone he thought I was "Hot" but I blew him off and didn't go for it. Now I really like him even more. He talks to me whenever he can but I feel so uncomfortable...And he sometimes butts into my conversations and laughs at my jokes when I talk to other people. I'm the class clown. Im also a MAJOR tom boy and I act really stupid around my friends. We gain eye contact once in a while and when I got my haircut,he noticed it before anyone else. My friends and everyone in school think I look like a normal girl now cause its very cute and girlish. I got it layered short and a side banged. My highlights are fading though >.< I used to have hair down to my butt but now its up to my shoulders. Anyways,He's really cute and dresses great for school. We have uniforms...he wears dark long shorts and a white shirt and wear some jordans,nikes,and my favorite...converses. I have a big crush on him but I dont go gaa gaa and such. My hair was really long and it's naturally straight. I thought it looked too flat at the top. It's far too fine textured to really work with, plus it gets greasy really easily. I decided to get a "scene" haircut to add volume to the top with some short layers, leaving the hair underneath long. I really regret getting it cut, it looks more like a mullet to me! I really miss my long hair and cannot afford hair extensions at the moment. I know it will take forever to grow back and I'm completely unwilling to cut the long part short. I was wondering if there are any ways to help hide my shorter layers until they grow a bit longer. The shortest layer is about 2 inches in length and a majority of the layers are about 3-4 inches in length, meaning they come to about the top of my eyebrows. I have some of my old, long cut hair pieces and I was also wondering if there was any way to make at-home extensions. I really need advice! (more...)

I'm 14, and I have brown, slightly wavy hair that's a few inches past my shoulders. It's parted on the side and has layers, but the layers are not really visible. It's starting to get little split pieces on it, so it's definately time to get my hair cut. I'm thinking about getting bangs, because the way my hair is right now (just parted on the side and tucked behind my ear) is not flattering at all. What kind of bangs would look good? I don't want anything that's really short, and it has to be really low-maintenance. After years of listening to this, I decided I that in fact I DID need a change and went to a salon thinking surely a professional cut and colour would HAVE to be so much better than what I was doing at home. I asked for a bob a la Christina Applegate. What I ended up with was a Jenny Garth-like shag circa 1995 (see photo)... http://www.fortunecity.com/lavendar/dale/16/Jg-tv.jpg ... and now my once-creamy-blond hair is dark, brassy yellow and much thinner thanks to all the "edgy" layers: you can see right through my longest layers whenever there is a light source behind me. How the hell do I style this piece of crap hairstyle until it grows out? Mine was the Holiday South In Myrtle Beach! I had a rude managers and paint peeling off of the walls, Coffee pot dirty, Slow and hot elevator, room had a bug like a roach, and noisy neighbors, and a gang fight outside in the hotel parking lot. I also forgot to tell you a piece of the building is missing because it fell on a lady while she was swimming. Ps: Pool was filled with mold and someone was getting a haircut in the hallway!
