Open Question: Canadian history/geography help? (Canadian Citizenship apply)?
Hi, I am from the UK and currently living there but I am hoping to move to Canada when I am ready and at a good, sensible and mature enough age to go and I am hoping that I can move there for at least three years so that I could try and apply for a Canadian Citizenship but I read a booklet and it says that I will need to know about Canadian history and geography so I was wondering if anybody could help me out? I need help with things/questions like:
Is there anything that I REALLY NEED to know?
Does anyone know if the people in which you apply to ask questions on history/geography?
etc. stuff like that
I really hope this plan works out for me and I hope that sometime in the future Canada will welcome me =]
Thank you

Open Question: Do double minors matter?
I am a senior at WWU majoring in History and minoring in Social Studies. I really like Political Science and have been taking that for a good portion of my Social Studies minor and am thinking about just minoring in that as well which will make me graduate a quarter later than planned.
So I guess my question would be more specifically, does it matter (to employers or grad schools) having a minor in political science (or any other social studies minor like anthro, geography, economics, etc.) when you are already getting a minor in social studies?
