Open Question: Is this a double standard?
A few months ago, my fiance' lectured me on leaving the clothes in the washing machine for too long instead of taking them out right away and putting them in the dryer. He made a big issue out of it by writing to this message board, telling his friends and family and basically just complaining to people overall about it. Now fast forward a few months, he's out of work and so he is the one washing clothes. How about I have caught him leaving clothes in the washing machine all day long and leaving it overnight. I didn't say anything the first couple of times but just today, I am home sick from work so I know he washed those clothes early this morning and now it's 5:30pm and they are still in the washing machine? I confronted him on them, he looks at me funny as if I said something crazy to him. The bottom line is, he need to stop lecturing me on the importance of leaving wet clothes and how they will mildew and yada yada yada if he is going to turn around and do the same thing. Saying that he forgot and got other things on his mind is no excuse since I couldn't use that as an excuse. I'm just getting this off of my chest. How many other women go thru this? Most men think that what they say goes but the minute they screw up, they immediately think their excuse is justifiable.

Open Question: does he like me (long, but in bullet form)?
- When we were talking on a message board thing, his profile picture is poking fun at me (it has do with my nickname, not my appearance) and mine is poking fun at him because of something embarrassing that happened to him.
- He always responds when someone is asking me a question or someone is talking about me.
- He teases me for being short, and I tease him back about various things.
- He made a sexual joke about both of us having sex.
- We used to talk to each other until 3am everyday (we're too busy now, but we do talk).
- He's said before a lot that I'm adorable and he likes it when I blush.
- When people say that we act like lovesick puppies he doesn't respond either way.
- A friend commented jokingly to him that another guy was moving in on "your woman" and he didn't respond.
And our friends joked around about me being in a gangbang with him and another guy, but he commented on how he didn't want to be with another guy. He never mentioned anything about not wanting to be with me.
No, we know each other in person. There's a little message board that we use for our school. It's hard to explain.
