Voting Question: Guys, would you date me?
I'm not gonna put a picture up of me, but I'll do the best I can to describe myself. I'm about 5'6". and I weigh about 115. I have muscles but not like huge ones, basically I'm a runner so it's just from doing that. I have dark brown long curly hair. but not ugly curly, pretty curly. I have brownish green eyes. Big lips, not quite angelina jolie but close. Freckles.. I have a smaller waist than hips. people say I'm pretty... if that helps? I have boobs. hahaa i dont know im trying to describe myself as accurately as possible. Now personality: I'm pretty awkward at times, but I don't think I'm too hard to talk to, i can just say really silly things that make no sense. I can laugh about anything. I'm usually very happy and carefree. I'm smart: top 10% of my class. I love to run! I love skiing and snowboarding. I'm a good skier. but i kind of stink at snowboarding, i still love it though. I play soccer. I love all kinds of movies, scary ones, funny ones, sad ones, it usually just depends. I'm usually willing to try new things. I love to watch sports, but mostly football. I can be a bookworm. sometimes i'm the opposite. I can be shallow and hypocritical. I hate texting and talking on the phone. I can start a conversation with anybody, but i can also be incredibly shy. I don't care what other people think. I can change my mind a lot and be really indecisive. Sorry that this is so long I wanted to be as accurate as possible. And I know that this isn't nearly enough to decide whether or not you would date somebody... but just from these things. ahhaha i have plenty of confidence. thank you very much. and i probably am too young for you. 16. which is why i'm not putting up a picture. Resolved Question: How true was the movie "The Other Side of the Mountain"?
The story of Jill Kinmont, the skier who was the Olympic hopeful in the mid-1950's but became paralyzed after a breaking her neck in a competition. Was she really engaged to Dick Buek? Did his plane crash while he was flying to her birthday? It all seems so tragic. I read about Dick Buek but there is no mention of Jill. Still the movie was very inspiring. (more...)

There was this movie I saw about a champion female skier who told her boyfriend (played by Beau Bridges) ''I think a person only has so much luck in their life''. Later in the film, she became paralyzed from a skiing accident and could never compete in her passion again. Her words have haunted me. Do you think life is like that? You only have so much luck? Resolved Question: I need help finding out the name of a movie...?
It's not a recant movie, it's probably from the 80's, or around that time. But the main story was somewhere along these lines (sorry my memory is very foggy, i saw it a few years ago and recently thought of it): There's this one boy in high school, brown haired, who was opsessed over his girlfriend, blonde medium length hair. he had pictures of her everywhere in his room. then one day she breaks up with him for one of the more popular guys. A foriegn exchange student moves in next door. she has brown, short hair. she instanlty falls for him, but he doesn't notice. He is torn up, because of his ex- girlfriend, and keeps trying to commit suicide. he fails every attempt. It's funny( a.k.a. this movie is a comedy) Or he tryes different things to win her back. doesn't work. somehow, the foriegn exchange student amd him meet and get to know eachother. He finds a way to win to win his ex-girlfriend back and asks exchange student for her help. of course, she helps him. She is training him to become a better winter skier. he enters this skiing compitition, wher his ex-girlfriend;s boyfriend is also skiing. he has to sky down this huge hill faster than his opponant. one of his skis breaks so he has to ski down on one ski. he beats the other guy. his ex-girlfriend comes up to him and kisses him, but to his suprise he relizes that he doesn't love her anymore. instead he fell for the exchange student. Heere are some other detals, if it helos, i hope it does: The family that the exchange student is staying with has a fat son. they are trying to get her to like their fat son. they gave her a picture of him for christmas. The naughbers came over to the boy's house to eat dinner with him, but somehow it ended badly, he had tried one of his suicide attempts, by putting some stuff in a class to drink, but the fat boy's mom ( the one with the exchange student staying with them) drank it. His brother Steve was a HUGE skate-boarder in 80s, and did a movie called "radical moves" or somthing like that. Resolved Question: Help me remember a movie?
I saw this movie about extreme snowboarders and skiers on the snow and they start getting shot at by a gang of hooligans and "badmen" with AK's and other guns. It was so bad and hilarious i want to see it one more time. The "extreme" sports people find out the badguys are murderers or something also. The scene i remember the most is when some snowboarder goes off a ramp and does, literally, like 10 flips and yells "extreme" obscenities or some shit like that.
