Natural History: The Very Best of Talk Talk
Who would have imagined that the missing link between Miles Davis and Portishead would be a pasty Brit band whose synth-driven hits show up from time to time on rock-of-the-'80s collections? For those only familiar with MTV hits like "Talk Talk" and "It's My Life," this compilation is the beginning of a revelation. Talk Talk mastermind Mark Hollis is an eccentric genius whose hook-laden hits hide an equally satisfying catalog of art-rock experimentation. As Talk Talk evolved, Hollis (opting for a cut-up technique that anticipated the Pro-Tools revolution) ditched synth-pop and produced some of the most sublime late-night records ever. Think Stevie Winwood tranquilized by listening to too much Blue Nile and you start to get the picture. But fair warning: buy this album, and there's a good chance you'll end up purchasing the whole catalog. --Bill Forman

The Natural History of the Chicken
Most people best know the chicken from their dinner plates -- whether as thigh, wing or drumstick. Consumers barely pause a moment to consider the bird's many virtues. 20th Century with Mike Wallace - Hurricanes: Natural Born Killers
They have caused more damage than all other storms, and though they can be tracked with astonishing accuracy, their awesome power is enough to overcome almost any preparation. Hurricanes are often overlooked. Not as dramatic as tornadoes or as unpredictable as earthquakes, they are nonetheless by far the most damaging of all natural disasters. The 20th CENTURY WITH MIKE WALLACE goes into the eye of the worst hurricanes of this century for an up-close look at these terrifying storms. See Edward R. Murrowís coverage of Carol in 1954, witness the devastation of Charleston, South Carolina by Hugo in 1989, and follow Hurricane Andrew on its terrifying path through Florida in 1992. Meet survivors of these incredible storms and hear their terrifying stories. And interviews with federal officials explore what can be done to prevent a repeat of the damage that made Hurricane Andrew the most costly natural disaster in history. It's a riveting examination of the awesome power and staggering cost of these awesome storms."

Open Question: December 12, 2012 Explanattion?
My explanation of Dec. 21 2012 As Seen In My Dreams?
So here's the deal. I am a lucid dreamer. JustGooglee the term if you didn't know it i dont have time to explain. Anyways i had a sort Epiphanyany the other night about Dec. 12 20012. As we all know the world is to come to an end and something drastic is supposed to happen on that date according to the MAYAN's, MERLIN "who was infact ancientint prophet before the stories, MOTHER SHIPTON a Britishtsh prophet, even modern prophet Edgar Casey. Anyways i spent the whole night debating this in my head for my self.
A sceintifc person that i am belives that during 20012 on that specific date there will be a shift in the earths magnetic field changing the poles. Many belive this has to do with ling up with the center of the black hole at the center of our galaxy im not sure. Anyways this is a theroy that has been proven that has happend before in our earths history. A cycle you could say that i belive occures every 25,000 yrs. Sorry if my numbers are off. Anyways i though how could god let this happen if this is in fact what would occur. This type of thing would cuase massive earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions while the earth resets. Im not saying every one will die but it will put the earth in shambles. Anyways then i fell assleep to CNN and fox flipping back and forth to all the war at the gaza strip.
Then in my dream it came to. All the years leading up to 2012 there will be increased fight and war. Possibly even nuclear it weasnt clear. Anyways then 2012 came and the earth pole changed and there was devastation. People died but not all. People stopped focusing on war and focused on survival and helping one another. I belive if this happens its not armagedon. Its a new begining. Becuase i would be a far more horrible life if war was to continue and the hate and suffering would be left to carry one. This natural phenomem is a change for the better if you get what im saying. Im not the best at writting and im not telling everyone to belive what im saying. This is just a positive veiw of what i have only seen to be a horrible and devasting topic. The end of the world or the beginning of a new?

Open Question: how would you write an analysis about this topic and it has to be half of the page?
Chemistry is all around you everywhere you go. Chemistry is defined as the science that deals with the composition and properties of substances and elements that make up matter. Coca-Cola is related to Chemistry because it is created by the natural ingredient Cocaine.
Cocaine was made in the leaves of the coca plant, a plant of the Andes in Peru and Bolivia. The coca plant was really important to the Incas, it was used for royalty and in special ceremonies. Eventually the spread of Coca went throughout the Inca people.
As time passed on the Spanish conquistadors moved in the 16th century and started to run the people that already lived there. They knew that they could make the native people work hard and made them chew coca leaves. There was liquid from the coca leaves and some lime. The liquid was then held in the cheek where the saliva removed the cocaine from the leaves, producing mild euphoria, no hunger and increased their stamina.
People brought the leaves to Europe over the next two centuries. Most people didn't make it to Europe to bring the plant. In1863 the chemist Angelo Mariani, heard about coca leaves. He mixed coca leaves into Bordeaux wine. Alcohol in the wine and the cocaine and this wine became popular in Europe in the late 19th century. The pope and Queen Victoria tried the wine and they were in love with it!
A pharmacist, John Pemberton, that lived in Atlanta. He produced the Pemberton's French Wine Coca, it was flavored with kola nut extract that also kicked in stamina and caffeine. This was really big but when a law came in he made a new drink with sugar syrup and replaced the alcohol. The drink was called Coca-Cola after he made it. Instead of Coca it is Coca-Cola. It was sold at the soda fountain mixed with water and carbs. People soon had problems with the cocaine emerged, it was taken out of the drink. Coca-Cola is a carbonated drink sold in stores, restaurants and vending machines everywhere in the world.
This article is called ?Puting the Coke in Coke?, and was written by Phillip Strange. Phillip Strange's main points were that Coca-Cola was very popular and he tells us the history of bringing Coca-Cola to our world. My opinion of this article is that Coca-Cola was very popular and the drink itself is very good. I knew that cocaine helped to make Coca-Cola. Some of the facts in this article I already knew about how Coke came to the world. Cocaine is really bad for your body. I think that they could have made the drink with some other plant instead of the Coca plant.

Open Question: What is Israel's aim in Gaza?
First of all, let us agree that victory in a conflict does not depend on the number of people you kill. It depends on a whole range of factors, from which is the meeting of military aims.
From this standpoint at least, Israel has made a total blunder. It claims it's aims are to put a stop to all rockets being fired into Israel. In order for Israel to 'win' here, it must meet this aim of its, and doing so will be very difficult - the Israeli attacks and raids have only provoked more retaliation from Hamas.
But for Hamas to win, all it has to do is fire a rocket into Israel (thus breaking the Israeli military aim).
Which leads me to question what the real motives are. This is especially so given that there is evidence to say this 'Operation Cast Lead' had nothing to do with the cease-fire and the rockets of December following Israel's breach of the truce (see http://www.creative-i.info/?p=3402 to verify this) as it had been planned even prior to the 6-month cease-fire:
"Sources in the defense establishment said Defense Minister Ehud Barak instructed the Israel Defense Forces to prepare for the operation over six months ago [June or before June] , even as Israel was beginning to negotiate a ceasefire agreement with Hamas."(Barak Ravid, Operation "Cast Lead": Israeli Air Force strike followed months of planning, Haaretz, December 27, 2008)
"Barak told the assembled lawmakers that the defense establishment spent months preparing for the Gaza operation."
?Haaretz Israel News, Dec. 29, 2008
There is evidence that natural resources (in this case Gas) in Palestinian territory has been a part of the Israeli agenda:
http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=11680
This all appears to be under the general disregard for Palestinians and the 'zionist-supremacy' that Israel is guilty of, something that runs throghout its history till today:
"We must expel Arabs and take their places."
David Ben Gurion, future Prime Minister of Israel, 1937
"We shall reduce the Arab population to a community of woodcutters and waiters"
Uri Lubrani, PM Ben-Gurion's special adviser on Arab Affairs, 1960
"There was no such thing as Palestinians, they never existed"
Golda Meir, Israeli Prime Minister June 15, 1969.
"Everybody has to move, run and grab as many hilltops as they can to enlarge the settlements because everything we take now will stay ours... Everything we don't grab will go to them."
Ariel Sharon, Israeli Foreign Minister, November 15, 1998.
Whatever the case, we can certainly establish that Israel is playing a game of deception with the world. The question that remains is: are you buying into it?
Eric M, please let the 'Little One' teach you something.
The 4 children left clinging to their dead mother were not 'islamofascist terrorists'.
The 40 dead taking shelter in the UN school were not 'islamofascist terrorists'.
The piles of dead children and babies, and the maimed and lame are not 'islamofascist terrorists'.
And nor is evry Palestinian male a 'terrorist'
There are more people invovled in this thing than just your 'islamofascist terrorists'. In your own wise words: 'it ain't just a football game, little one'.
And your expert analysis has got is spot on: the Palestinians are the one's 'causing' their own deaths, wounding and killing their brethren, women and children, flattening their own houses, and starving their own population, JUST so the world can feel sorry for them 'accidentally', and Israel has nothing to do with this at all.
Please spend some time analysing yourself and why you stand by supporting the Israeli war criminals and show no support for the oppress

Thanks.. will reward points im new to this whole deal so yeah.. Thank you in advance!
Guides know about enough English to tangle everything up so that a man can make neither head nor tail of it. They know their story by heart?the history of every statue, painting, cathedral, or other wonder they show you. They know it and tell it as a parrot would?and if you interrupt, and throw them off the track they have to go back and begin over again. All their lives long, they are employed in showing strange things to foreigners, and listening to their bursts of admiration. It is human nature to take delight in exciting admiration. It is what prompts children to say "smart" things, and do absurd ones, and in other ways "show off" when company is present. It is what makes gossips turn out in rain and storm to go and be the first to tell a startling bit of news. Think, then what a passion it becomes with a guide, whose privilege it is, everyday, to show to strangers wonders that throw them into perfect ecstasies of admiration! He gets so that he could not by any possibility live in a soberer atmosphere. After we discovered this, we never went into ecstasies any more?we never admired anything?we never showed any but impassible faces and stupid indifference in the presence of the sublimest wonders a guide had to display.
