The flag of Colorado was designed by Andrew Carlisle Johnson in 1911 and adopted by the state's General Assembly on June 5 of the same year, and consists of three horizontal stripes of equal width; the top and bottom stripes are blue, and the middle stripe white. On top of these stripes sits a circular red "C", filled with a golden disk. The blue is meant to represent the skies, the gold represents the sun, white representing the snow-capped mountains and the red representing the earth.

I am a sahm and I need to earn money! I have worked as a nanny since having my child as I was in college and its Good paying flexible job and since having my child because I can take care of her too! However I lost my job because the family that I worked for lost their family business! Next month I go back to school to get my under grad degree and that will take a year and a half. My fiance and I recently bought a used car from a dealership in Reno, Nevada. When we went in early in November, we informed our sales people of the following: 1) we would be moving to Colorado after Thanksgiving 2) My fiance does not receive check stubs from his work, they just direct deposit is checks. All we could provide were copies of the bank statements that clearly showed dates, amounts, and source of the payroll deposits. We traded in our Saturn, they approved us for our Liberty and we walked out the door. Then they hounded us for 2 weeks about the check stubs for my fiance, which we repeatedly told them a) that we do not have, and b) they need to contact his work directly if the bank needs them. Two days ago we were contacted by somebody in the financial department who informed us that due to an unacceptable delay in filing with the bank, Wells Fargo had to deny our loan, and the car would be repossessed. We said "fine, bring us our Saturn back." The car was repossessed today from here in Colorado, but no sign of the Saturn. I called one of our original salesmen and asked him when they plan on delivering my car. He subsequently tried to blame US for the ordeal because we "failed to provide check stubs." I told him "No, you let us walk out the door with full knowledge that we were going to be in Colorado, and that he has no check stubs. I want to know when my car is going to be delivered to us in Colorado. That or a check for the trade-in value, I don't care which." I do not believe they will concede to ship my car to me in Colorado. Is there any leverage from a legal standpoint that I might be able to use? (more...)

One Saturday afternoon, my husband and I were at a friends place to help them move scrap metal from their farm. I am about 10 weeks pregnant and unable to help with this, so I was waiting with my husband to see how they wanted it loaded. Suddenly, my husband got an intense headache, couldn't see, couldn't walk (especially with his left side), could hardly speak, and fell to his knees. Our friend helped my husband (we'll call my hubby "B") to the car and we immediately drove to the nearest hospital. Upon arrival (B being carried in by our friend) B was asked if he was on any drugs. I understand that this is common practice, but they kept accusing him of doing drugs repeatedly. Soon after, B gets sick (and me with morning sickness began to get sick myself.) The nurse yells at me telling me I need to go sit in the waiting room because she doesn't need two sick people there. I told her I was pregnant and ignored her as I walked into the room. The doctor then came in the room, asked a couple of questions, and then with no tests or anything, the doctor told him it was just a migraine and doped him up with a TON of drugs, such as a muscle relaxant, a migraine medication, an anti-histamine, a pain killer, and several others. We left and I was able to get him home and to bed as quickly as I could. The next day, Sunday, we stayed home and just tried to relax. However, B was still having trouble walking and using his left side. We have no medical education and thought that maybe this could be what was left over from all the drugs he was given. So, we ignored it for the time being. The next day, B was unsure if he could drive, so he had me take him to work. Since this was a fair ways away, I just waited around town for him. About an hour or two after he got to work, I get a call from B telling me that something isn't right and that he needed to go to the hospital. Thankfully, this was a different hospital. The second he got into the ER, he was told it sounded like a neurological problem and ordered a cat scan immediately. Sure enough, B had had a stroke that weekend. We spent three days and two nights in the hospital. Everyone was amazing at the second hospital and treated both me and my husband with every kind of care that should be shown by the hospital. As well, while we were there, we were given literature strokes, and B was showing every single sign of having a stroke when he walked into the first hospital. Now B is still having trouble with his fine motor skills in his left hand and when he is tired, he can hardly walk on his left leg. Do we have any grounds to sue the first hospital or their doctor? Not only do we have the proof they misdiagnosed the stroke, but we also have witnesses of our friends who heard them yell at me and kept accusing my husband of doing drugs. This whole thing has gotten me stressed out beyond compare and I am worried about the effect of this stress on our baby. As well, does anyone know a lawyer in the Denver area we could talk to? I am really desperate and need some advice regarding what to do. (more...)

So I've been having this issue for a few months now. Basically any online game i play i get consistent lag spikes every couple minutes that last about 5 seconds. It doesn't matter if its a FPS, a mmorpg or a very basic game like diablo 1. I'm using a wireless setup and up until about 5 months ago it was perfectly fine. All of a sudden the issue started. I'm using Comcast cable internet in Colorado. I did do some research and from what I found there didn't seem to be any definitive answers. There was one site that listed the exact problem I had but it was one you had to pay for to get the answer. Thanks in advance for any help! Yeah I am running off of a router and I tried disabling both the security on the router and the firewall on my computer but no luck.
