The Cruiser Automotive Air Purifier (Metallic Silver) (8.27"H x 4.72"W x 2.95"D)
The Cruiser Automotive Air Purifier (Metallic Silver) (8.27 Your vehicle is a haven for airborne contaminants, exhaust fumes, cigarette smoke and bacteria. Now the amazing Cruiser Automotive Air Purifier shields you and your family from dangerous airborne pollutants while on the road. It's the world's first Multi-Stage UV-HEPA-PHOTOCATALYTIC PORTABLE AIR PURIFIER! Using the latest advancement in ultraviolet air sterilization technology, the Cruiser can efficiently diminish interior air pollution in your automobile, RV, truck or van providing you fresher and healthier air any time you are driving. A compact HEPA cartridge filters out the airborne particles, then the air get sterilized through a chamber of two photo catalytic filters with UV light. Lastly an activated carbon media filters out the harmful gasses. The Cruiser does not requires batteries, it simply plugs into your cigarette lighter socket to power itself.

How it Works:

What's UV light Sterilization?

Ultraviolet light is one of the more effective methods to reduce and control airborne pathogens such as mould spores and mildew. For this reason ultraviolet purifiers are commonly used in hospitals. As contaminated air is passed through intense ultraviolet light in the photo-catalytic chamber, bacteria, viruses and most organic compounds are destroyed. In short, the ultraviolet light damages the DNA of microorganisms and renders them harmless and unable to reproduce.

We are going in January and I have read reviews and most are good but I want to ask here too. We are 26 years old and want to know if there are any cool places that we should check out at night. Also, is there an outdoor ice rink there? Any cool things that we should know or not miss let me know. (more...)

Resolved Question: Roof tops for 10 x 10 kennels?
am part of a group of volunteers who are trying to help a dog rescue get roofs over 35 10x10 kennels at an outdoor dog rescue to protect them from a colorado winter. This is a wonderful rescue that is operated by one woman who is an absolute angel and has given dogs that would not have had a chance a home. They are all very happy and healthy thanks to this rescue. We need roof tops any ideas for materials how to attach to the metal kennels (typical 10 x kennels you see on-line). They are sturdy but free standing and lined up side by side in rows. HOw can we attach roof material and how can we get pitch for drainage. We don't have a ton of money. Please help!! (more...)

Resolved Question: Volunteer opportunities in the Western US?
Does anybody know of good volunteer opportunities in the Western United States? I'm trying to plan a small student trip (up to 11 people) for approximately 10 days this coming March. These would be college students, all 18 or over. We travel in a big white van, and the volunteer location can't be more than 18 hours or so drive from Colorado Springs. If there are locations that provide lodging or food, etc. or help finding it, that would be much preferred but not necessary. Any kind of work is good - I was hoping for outdoor work and/or with redwoods. But I'm open to all suggestions, especially if you've been there personally. (more...)

Resolved Question: Where in Colorado would you recommend..?
I'm looking for some nice travel spots in Colorado. Making a trip out there with 3 other friends. Were outdoor enthusiasts, so I'm looking for a town to stay in close to either some rivers (to kayak) or some nice mountains (to snowboard). [depending on the time of year i suppose] Would like to spend as much time outdoors as possible, so an area with a lot of recreation. Oh yeah, definitely needs to be close to the mountains for hiking... Any suggestions would be great! (more...)

Resolved Question: What are the best colleges for outdoors-oriented people?
I'm a senior in high school, just finished my first Outward Bound course, already signed up for my second one, and I plan on being possibly an instructor after I am 21. Anyways - does anyone know of any good colleges where the outdoors are greatly accessible? And the best of so, I'm looking in states like Colorado, Washington, Maine, anywhere where there is a great amount of outdoor trips and such, and a good Psychology program, I'm planning on studying Social Psychology (more...)

Resolved Question: Is this sorta warped to you too?
So, I'll admit I am not the best at keeping up with cleaning my cats litter box. My mom has to bother me about it then I finally get to it, normal mother-teen stuff. Lately, my mom has been telling me that she is going to throw my cats outside if it doesn't get done when she sees it needs to be done. First off, what have the cats done to her, that doesn;t just affect me but the lives of animals, they are NOT outdoor cats and I know if she did that they wouldn't know to come back and I would never see my cats again. Secondly, there are coyotes and occasionally wolves that go through the neighborhood, this is Colorado afterall. They would so get eaten. I know the solution to my problem. Keep up with the litterbox. I just get so caught up in everything else in my life that I don't remember or if I set reminders on my cell I am not always home at that time or I am really tired and don't want to get up to do so. I can't believe she would actually do that though. To me thats a pretty messed up thing to do. That is not going to go over to well with me and it will probably end up with me moving out and never speaking to her again. I am pretty sure Id hysterically freak out and then spend the rest of the day/night looking for them. I totally wouldnt put this past her, she did something similiar once before. She THREW our female cat out because she accidentally scratched my brother but my brother was scaring the cat. How can I get her to not do this and choose something else? Like block my texts or take my laptop, you know something less sadistic and unforgivable? She hasn't done this yet but just threatened tonight. I have to have it done before SHE goes to be. BUT she wants me to finish my room before I do the litter box and I don't have enough time. We tried one of those, my mom hated it. One cat is mine the other is my brothers. My mom said that the three of us would share responsibilities but she and my brother never do. I can't believe you guys. You would actually throw the cats out knowing they'd get killed, starve to death or get eaten by coyotes or wolves?? (more...)

Resolved Question: What should I do next with my life?!?
I just graduated from college with an undergrad in Exercise Science. Ive lived in Atlanta my whole life and have never really loved it here. I like the city a lot but I am an outdoor enthusiast at heart and like the nature/outdoorsy life. Colorado seems like it may be too expensive and plus I don't exactly love the cold winters. So, I'm looking for a job as a Physical Therapy Aid which is not that difficult to find but I just am not sure where exactly I should move to. I've considered Asheville, NC but maybe its too small? Some people have suggested Seattle, Vancouver, Colorado. I don't know how far I want to go and I like a good community. This would be a big step for me becuase I've never moved away or anything like this before and I'm a homebody but I just feel this deep need to go in another direction. I have relatives in NYC, San Diego, and San Francisco but don't know if either one of those places are what I want. So....I don't know a confused college graduate trying to transition is pretty much what's going on, any suggestions would be helpful! P.S. I originally wanted to begin taking pre-req's for PT school which is another year of school and than go str8 to PT school in Atlanta but I was recommended to take a little time off to really consider what I want; I played 15 years of junior tennis and 4 years of college tennis and this is the first time in my life that I have no structure or a plan so it's scary!
