my partner and i have been together for 3 1/2 years and we have a 2 year old daughter.we are both young i am 20 and he is 24 and for a long time i havnt been feeling the same love for him as i once did. i dnt hate him and we have issues that never seem to resolve themselves as hard as we try 2 change our attitudes etc.. furthermore, i somehow cant picture him as the one i will live the rest of my life with and feel as though we have grown apart and are two very different people.things we want from life etc... i feel like there is alot missing from what i need in a relationship but i am so confused and feeling guilty that i cant even reason on what it is exactly.and i also feel as though i see him more as a brother now rather than a lover. i felt so guilty for continuously having doubts worries and mixed feelings on wether i am happy or not that i dnt think it is very fair on him as he loves me still so much. so i broke up with him... do u think it was a right move? i am not angry and i dnt think i feel regret but i do feel a huge sense of loss that i keep thinking he wont b part of my life much anymore. but then i feel liberated at the same time-like i can get myself on track again. i am so scared that i am going 2 b a single mother still studying and feel as though i have failed my daughter.she is only two but i cant sleep at night with all this guilt that i may have just shattered 2 lives. has anyone ever felt this way?anyone a single mum?did u go through the same?what do u think?this question is aimed at anyone who has an opinion to give. i feel so alone and insecure-dnt have anyone to advise me or to talk to. please help! many thanks, laura (more...)

ANDREW M recently posted a poem. While I was typing out my response to it, his question was resolved. This was my suggested revision of his poem. Feel free to critique. Why is life so full of bumps? If only I had one day free. When I feel down in the dumps, I rest beneath an old oak tree. There I ponder on my life, and count the blessings I enjoy. First of all, my loving wife; then son and heir, my pride and joy. Next the comfort of true friends, without them I would not survive. Love pays many dividends and makes me glad to be alive. Now I'm cheerful once again, I realize life's not so bad. Something I'll remember when I'm in the dumps and feeling sad. Feeling rested and refreshed, I now have a much lighter yoke. I approach life with new zest and thank the Lord for that old oak. This was written off the top of my head after pressing the "submit" button to his question (only to find it was resolved). It's not perfect by any means, but was written merely to give him something to work with. Actually, top3ee, it would give it an extra syllable too many. It's 7,8,7,8 each verse. I had my 20-week ultrasound last night and was given the diagnosis of complete placenta previa. Needless to say, I'm a little nervous about how this will all pan out! I have not been put on bed rest since I haven't been bleeding at all, and I am scheduled for a follow-up ultrasound at 28 weeks. I'm very interested in hearing from women who have experienced a diagnosis of COMPLETE PLACENTA PREVIA. When were you diagnosed? Did the situation resolve itself? If not, how much earlier was your cesarean scheduled from your actual due date? Did you experience bleeding throughout the pregnancy, and if so when? please read carefully and to the end before answering. thank you! considering we already have enough on our plate in the middle east, do you think (if we havent already in some way, shape, or form) should step in at any time to stop whats going on in gaza. we have always backed the israelis to ensure their survival, culture, way of life, and reason to exist, however; this looks to be another vietnam if we get involved. my view on vietnam is this, there was no "cold war," we fought the russians and the russians fought us indirectly by attacking our allies and we attack theirs, since they backed the communist party of korea which was miniscule compared to our allies which preffered democricy in korea, but they won. so in a broad sense we were in conflict with them like coaches to boxers, who is the better of the two? i believe it will never be determined and will be (in my book) a stale mate between USA and Russia until we face off toe to toe to settle once and for all who is the better of the two. we both have potential to destroy the world over, and neither of us wants to find out. good for the rest of the world, but tensions are still there, and collateral damage is what's stopping us from going heads up, since their scientists and advisors and as smart as ours for not testing the theoretic scenario. i feel this conflict is never going to be resolved and is potential to cause a world war III, since niether side is willing to appretiate the other sides arguement. this has been going on for centuries and will never be at and end until one is eliminated. its like brothers fighting in the same house, nothing is going to be resloved until one moves out, but no one wants to budge. diplomacy will never work, but is the ONLY way to get them to stop, but no one will sit at the table with an open mind. sadly, what do we do before it ends up that palestine takes a page from the nazi book and decides thats the best case scenario for their agenda is to finish what hitler did could not. and even in that era, i feel that we should have gotten involved long before the japanese attacked us. makes no sense that we ended everything just because of a country that was 2nd string when the first string was doing all the damage. what do we do?? do your research and history, please! i wish i could give more then 10 points for this Q, but i wanna know your perspective. I want to believe the sphinx in egypt is older than we currently believe. Edgar Cayce says it was there roughly 12000 years ago and I know of a book published before he started giving readings that agrees with many of his other ideas about Egypt. There are two that I know of that followed which also seem to correlate with these ideas. This doesn't prove anything though because there really isn't anything to back any of this up. I have often heard that there is damage related to water that dates the sphinx back to this time but if that were true experts surely would have made some changes. To put this all to rest I would like to know what evidence egyptologists have for dating it to a much later time. If anyone has the knowledge to resolve this please be very clear and complete. Hopefully this makes sense. it might be a bit confusing So, im trying to get over it... although it isn't necessarily working. what do you expect? im only fifteen. i cant resolve any problems for myself im always so scared, and nervous. FML Okay so heres the story At the begining of highschool. it was hard making friends. and i finally found two girls that seemed really nice Claire, and Julie. Turns out Julie didnt like me... to be quite honest i wasnt. too fond of her anyways but to make matters worse. Claire told me about this. I was so mad and i confronted her and me and Julie had this HUGE fight. and we havent talked since. Claire and I are now pretty tight. and Claire and Julie are fading apart (according to claire) but Julie still thinks that she and claire are bffs. although they never hang out Julie now has her own "possy" at lunch and me and Claire hang out everyday. Im really shy and i feel comfortable around Claire more then anyone else in the school. But for some reason Julies "possy" isnt good enough. she still needs claire as a best friend. I cant even look at Julie shes a bitch she says terrible things about me. TERRIBLE. but julie will steal claire. and give her some lecture on how "im a bad influance" even though im not and how "She hates me and so does the rest of her possy" Claires so nice she wouldnt say anything back to hurt anyones feelings. but Julie wont shut up. I DONT KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO A) hang out with Claire and risk bumping into Julie B) Find a new possy and stay out of Julies way C) ???????????????? nono, i have a lot of other friends. its just that claires my Best friend (at the school) (more...)

Let it be known, i am a very intelligent, very clever, very intuitive young woman. I've come up with some very creative and clever ways to outsmart my stalkers (and other various ... "curious" people) over the course of their " obsessive interest." (which has been a while *sighs*) I am also a very good actress .. very good indeed. I've done everything from avoiding them altogether (by being a place other than that which they believed i was going to be) giving them the slip in various ways (slipping out a back door, leaving early, changing clothes mid-stalk etc) and even pretending to be completely insane, in order for them to back off. This last routine seemed to work for a while, really it did. As some of those previously obsessed bought my act, and left me alone for a good while. So i just went with what worked. But The issue with stalking has NOT resolved itself and there is nothing that i can legally do at this point (so do not suggest it) SO this weekend i did my own detective work, got into "crazy mode" and outsmarted the lot of them. (Really i did ... it was fabulous. I should get a flipping Oscar for my performance, and a medal for my keen critical thinking skills!) The problem is ... that in such an endeavour to ward off crazies ... and due to my absolutely awesomely gifted abilities ... now some normal unstalkerish people think that i am totally nuts. (I do not count this as a complete loss however because that just shows how REALLY good I am!) But, obviously it has it's downside...Obviously. So i think that a new game plan is in order ... no more pretending to be nuts as i do not think that it is doing me good any longer. I am not getting into full details of the who and what of things, as some things are honeslty unknown; some known in part, and the rest known completely. But i need some new ideas on how to outsmart totally crazy obsessive stalkers who pretty much have access to everything and everyone ... which makes me a walking target most days. (I cannot legally do anything about this issue at the moment, which is the entire point behind outsmarting them ... it's not just for sh!ts and giggles.) Creative suggestions are much appreciated.
