Resolved Question: What is your meaning of this song? ?
Lyrics to Guren[English] by the Gazette:
I'm sorry... after awhile, let me sleep by your name
The passing days drew us closer
The pain is matched with joy
Both hands reflect that
I cry when i think of you
there is a rain of sadness
it's fine just to remain unknown
i tremble for repose, i remembered
what do you want to see in this reeled in dream?
i dont want you to fade
let me hear, even a sigh
a small heartbeat, that isnt there
i want you come here!
unchanging dreams, if this continues on
please dont pause in your happiness
even if it doesnt need to called out but
the drowning days are piling over me.
i dont want you to fade
let me hear, even a sigh
a small heartbeat, that isnt there
i want you come here!
Even the hands of salvation is also in vagueness
Will there be a cocoon at intervals of the second, without the string tearing off?
i want to hear, even a sigh
little rhythm to the sound of the heartbeat
of touched prayers delivered. [haha ok i give up on this]
the name which i cannot call out i held closely
counting with my fingers, i dont want tomorrow to dissapear
hearing with blocked ears
the sound of a broken cradle
the spring time will never come again
the crimson lotus is in bloom

Resolved Question: How do I file a missing dog ad in the paper?
I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado... and I lost my dog. :(
I've went to the humanes society, but nothing yet. They have a site that I check almost every hour, still no luck.
They gave me a peice of paper when I was there that gave you tips to help find your dog.
It said to go around the neighborhood calling it's name, ask neighbors, make posters... and file a missing dog report in the Colorado Springs Gazette... (newspaper) and it's free.
I've done everything but making the newspaper ad. Only because I can't figure out how to do it.
I guess I'm not looking right on the net or something, because I can't find anywhere to fill it out.
I just want my dog back!! He's been there for me through all the though times.
I'm new to the neighborhood, but I'm certain that one of the neighbors is keeping ahold of him. :'(
I just don't know how to get my word out that he's lost.
I figured the newspaper was a great idea... I just need help finding out where it is for me to fill out.
Thanks
He is microchipped... but under my parents name. And I won't be able to prove he's my dog because I don't have the registration papers yet... my parents lost them, so they filed for new ones, and are going to send them to me when they get them...

Resolved Question: An Obama delegate made the call that caused the raid on the Texas sect?
http://rsmccain.blogspot.com/2008/04/confirmed-shes-obama-delegate.html
CONFIRMED: She's an Obama delegate
An affidavit now definitely links Rozita Swinton to the call that caused the raid on the Texas sect.
* * * * *
In case you doubted that Rozita Swinton -- the Colorado woman accused of making the hoax calls that may have triggered raids on the Texas polygamist cult -- is actually an Obama delegate, now the Colorado Springs Gazette confirms it:
A 33-year-old woman with a reasonably clean criminal history, Swinton has been active in politics and once sold insurance. . . .
After the El Paso County Democratic caucuses and convention, she was named one of the 360 delegates to the state convention at the World Arena on May 17, chosen to support Barack Obama. El Paso County Democratic Chairman John Morris said he and other party organizers did not know Swinton. . . .

Resolved Question: What is this??? Exhibiting dead people---for big profit???
On the Yahoo home page is a video about an investigation into the "Bodies" exhibits travelling internationally. The exhibits are owned by a for-profit company, with shareholders. The company also owns objects from the RMS Titanic, which it also exhibits for big profit.
The company says it is renting cadavers from China's Dalian Medical University, which acquired the **unidentified, unclaimed corpses from police.**
The company admits that **none** of the people in the exhibit gave consent to be "plastinated" or displayed after death.
The company does not deal directly with any of the **plastination factories that have sprung up in China.**
this information came from a newspaper article which can be found here: http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/07175/796418-109.stm.
I have always felt uneasy about this exhibit whenever I saw signs advertising it. I am glad that I did not go and am appalled at what I have discovered thus far. What do you think?
The San Diego Union Tribune:
"Of particular concern are questions about the source of the bodies being displayed, many of which come from the city of Dalian, in China.
Officials from Dalian Medical University previously have been implicated in the use of executed prisoners for commercial purposes, including organ transplants, according to the Laogai Research Foundation, a Washington-based organization that documents human rights abuses in China."
The admits that none of the people in the exhibit gave consent to be plastinated or displayed after death.
New York Times correspondent David Barboza interviewed the company's chief executive, who stated that, while they have "traced the whole process," the company relies on a supplier to acquire the corpses. When Mr. Barboza went on to speak with officials at Dalian Medical University, he found that they had no record of the company supplier obtaining the bodies there.
The Chinese government is prone to arrest and execute its citizens. More than 60 offenses, including some that are solely political or economic, are punishable by execution. In the past few years, 80 percent of the world's government-ordered executions have taken place in China.
You're right. Funny enough, the link has stopped working since I posted this question. However, the article is from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, entitled:
Sunday Forum: Exhibition of exploitation
ELAINE CATZ explains why she quit her job at the Carnegie Science Center after it decided to put human bodies on display
Sunday, June 24, 2007
How can an adherent to a faith which opposes cremation think this is OK?
.
Well, Dr. Bob, I know quite a bit about human anatomy, and I'm certain that many of this exhibit's enthusiasts do as well. People don't need to fetishize corpses in order to obtain "education"---that's an excuse for indulging morbid curiosity.
IMHO: One need not be "bored" to be concerned about ethical matters. Such bystander interest may benefit you, yourself, one day---one never knows.
.
Supporting this exhibit is contrary to Jewish law (kvod hamet):

Resolved Question: I dare you NOT to use this word in a sentece!?
I'm sure phrasing my question as a dare will get me more than a few sarcastic answers, but hey.
According to Merriam-Webster online, the word of the day is "bodacious" (adjective).
Definition 1: "Southern and Midland": outright, unmistakable
Definition 2: remarkable, noteworthy*
Definition 3: sexy, voluptuous
Example Sentence:
"Bears are not picky eaters especially in the spring, after they wake up from their winter hibernation with a bodacious appetite." -- George Osgood, "Star-Gazette" [Elmira, New York], May 12, 2007
Have fun, thanks for playing! The user with the most COMICAL sentence will get the 10!
*also, Yahoo!Answers needs to add this word to their dictionary!

Resolved Question: Fallen pastor Rev. Ted Haggard seeks financial support?
What happened to conservative personal responsibility? Check out his salary and this guy is begging for support! You would have thought he would have put some away for a rainy day rather than blowing it on gay prostitutes.
Religion pay pretty darn good!

Fallen pastor Rev. Ted Haggard seeks financial support
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070825/ap_on_re_us/evangelist_scandal;_ylt=AnPHKvzHONkRghQb7KOZAr47Xs8F
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Rev. Ted Haggard, who left the megachurch he founded after admitting to "sexual immorality," has asked supporters for financial assistance while he and his wife pursue their studies.
The former New Life Church pastor plans to seek a master's degree in counseling at the University of Phoenix while his wife studies psychology, he said in an e-mail sent this week to KRDO-TV in Colorado Springs.
Haggard received a salary of $115,000 for the 10 months he worked in 2006 and an $85,000 anniversary bonus before the scandal broke, The Gazette reported. Haggard's severance package included a year's salary of $138,000, and he collects royalties on his book titles, the newspaper reported.
El Paso County records show Haggard's home, which has been up for sale, has a market value of $715,051.
