Get Real begins with a couple of hedgehogs having sex, and deals with a topic just as prickly: gay love in adolescence. Steve (Ben Silverstone) is a student at a British school where everyone wears classy uniforms, knows he's gay, and is pretty comfortable being so. John (Brad Gorton), a top athlete and all-around admired guy, is just getting an inkling and isn't sure how he feels about it. This, cleverly, is how the movie manages to explore coming-out issues and be over them at the same time. In fact, the whole movie is pretty clever--witty dialogue, deft direction, nimble pacing, and clean editing--in exploring the seriousness of adolescent life without taking it too seriously. The key is in Silverstone's performance; he's a completely convincing mixture of hesitation and recklessness, all the conflicts of high school in one sweet-faced package. As the movie follows Steve and John's relationship--their evasions at school, getting picked up by the police in a park, goofing around in a heated swimming pool, grappling with coming out to the world at large--it lays out a bit of contrast with Steve's best friend Linda (Charlotte Brittain), who's as unapologetically fat as Steve is gay, and who's having an affair with her driving instructor. Excellent performances all around, funny, sexy, charming--if only straight teen comedies were half this good. Get Real even demonstrates the proper etiquette when soliciting sex in public restrooms; what more can you ask for? --Bret Fetzer

So what should I look at to see and know the car is Legit! All I know is that the 04-07 STI came with Brembo Brakes and is a 6 Speed with a Red Top Engine + Turbo Charged too.... hey all, i'm a 21 year old college student majoring in music (production/recording). i just purchased my 1st home cash/outright. i lost my mom in 2001 when i was 13 and used the modest life insurance policy she left for me to purchase the home. after losing my mom i moved in with my grandmother and lost her in 2004 after a year long battle with cancer. she left me a 1400/mo inheritance which i have been using for my education and related expenses. this $ is from her interest in a family business and will continue uninterrupted until her siblings sell the 2 commercial buildings they own and rent out. unfortunately i am a silent partner with no voting power and/or the ability to borrow and/or cash out of my interest in the co. i have 100% equity in this property and its TAX ACCESSED value is 200k. just before i purchased the property i bought (cash/outright) 50k of landscape equipment and will be self employed/full time in the spring of 09. my education is almost complete...1 more semester and will continue on a part time basis. at this moment i have 10 weekly customers (800/wk or 3200/mo) and am looking to increase that # to 20-25 by spring. my property will also generate income...it consists of a 4br house, 2 br cottage, 2 car garage and is zoned "village commercial". with this zoning, there is an option to rent part or all of the property to certain types of business... pottery shop, general store, real estate office, bar/restaurant, etc. i have a couple ready to sign a contract for the cottage (1200/mo) and 2 roommates to share the house with me (600ea/mo). i also have the option to rent out a small commercial suite on the 1st floor of the house (1000/mo). my long term plan is to use this (comm) space for my professional recording studios... not ready ($). although i do not "technically" have a declared income (yet), can i get a 100k loan using my property as collateral? moreover, can i use the rental, inheritance and landscape as income NOW, or how long do i have to wait to "technically" be considered a landlord and/or small business owner? i know i can handle this loan without any problem just with what i make right now. sad thing is... had i closed just a few months prior, it would have been "rubber stamped" by any bank and/or mortgage co. the way i found the property right up to the closing was done unconventionally... i am UNAFRAID to think and/or act out "outside of the box". any information and/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. hope all is well. have a good one. So I truly love this girl and we dated but after a while she broke up with me because she wasn?t ready for a true relationship. Well so she ended up getting together with this really lame, stupid, overall idiot guy and I really hate that. I guess I get really jealous easily. Well she told me to give her space and I have its been like 2 months and the other day I texted her asking if she wanted to go skiing (we had talked about that on Christmas when I took her some presents) and she said yes and also said thanks for the space I have given her. It?s just so hard to do. Well we were skiing Sunday and we had a great time. I took pictures and when we went to go eat lunch we shared a soup bread bowl. She was eating some of the bread bowl and was holding it close to her face and so I decided to grab her hand and smear it all over her face. She just started laughing and so did I. It was cute and funny but then I got a napkin and cleaned off her face and her hands. (was this flirting) I love this girl and would do anything for her she knows that I just want her back and want her to be with me. I want to marry her. And her mom knows how I feel and anytime I see her mom she is very nice to me and talks about anything. 2 more things. her dad lives about 2 hours away and she doesn?t see him often. she went up over xmas but that was the first time in about a year (she is very busy) so I want to offer to go up over spring break if she is free. I want to meet her dad and well she doesn?t go up often SO? and the other thing was I think for v-day I?m going to get her a dozen roses but take one out and put a fake one in and a note that says... "he gave her 12 roses, 11 real and one fake and said "I'll love you until the last rose dies." SO thoughts on all that. and sorry it was long (more...)

So I applied to UCI, UCSD, and UCLA in November 08 as a transfer student... I never dropped any classes before until my fall 08 semester.... Basically I enrolled into 12 units for that semester and 3 out of 4 of my classes were major classes...I ended up dropping 2 of the major classes and then I panicked and enrolled in two 8 week classes 1 of them 3 units and the other 1 unit...(impulse decision/stupid) just as fill ins... then I ended up dropping those 2 classes ...By the end of the semester with the remaining 2 classes I had 1 of them a GE class and the other was one of my major classes... I received A's... My total GPA right now is 3.58... So for winter intersession 09/spring 09 I'm finishing up the rest of the classes i need to take including 1-2 of the classes i dropped, I know I won't screw it up this time... so to sum it up how would I explain my W's to the schools.... Hi, I just recently found out my ex, who is now like a best friend , is moving back to Georgia. He unexpectedly lost his job in the city today and he made the final decision to move back, because he got another job offer. He was my first real friend in college and also the first guy I fell in love with. He was the one who broke up with me and till this day I still don't know why. He is leaving in less than three weeks, but he is coming back from his vacation in Georgia this weekend. What should I do? I have a problem of letting go and saying goodbye to the people I love the most, because the ones who leave are my true friends in life. I really do still love him more than just a friend and it scares me to death that we both set up our classes for the spring to have them together.
