I Saw Heaven: A Remarkable Visit to the Spirit World
I Saw Heaven: A Remarkable Visit to the Spirit World On September 19, 1972, when Larry Tooley's scaffold fell and he plunged to the concrete floor below, one of the most remarkable near-death experiences ever recorded began. I Saw Heaven! is the complete account of his accident and his extensive tour beyond the veil.

As Larry's spirit left his body and journeyed upward, he passed through a foreboding fog and witnessed agonized souls in outer darkness. Then, drawn to a brilliant light and greeted by a being who emanated overwhelming love, he underwent a life review and experienced the stripping away of earthly impurities.

He entered a receiving station through a suspended arched doorway. His name was recorded, he was dressed in a white robe and was greeted by a deceased former acquaintance who was to be his guide on an extensive reacquaintance tour of the spirit world. They communicated through telepathisc speech and flew by thought projection from place to place together. He was re-taught concerning the powers he enjoyed before birth: of projecting thoughts, levitation, unassisted flight, and that all matter exists at varying levels of vibrational frequencies.

Larry was shown through a kingdom of beauty and order. He saw communities with buildings made from a marble-like material, surrounded by beautiful trees and landscaping. They visited a learning center where he was shown advanced ways of obtaining knowledge. They toured a genealogical research center where people were working to establish their relationships with their forefathers, and he was taught the importance of linking families together. A family reunion was held for him to acquaint himself with many of his relatives, ad he found that he could learn all about them by embracing them. He met his sister, Wendy, who had died shortly after her birth, and found her adorned in a brilliant white robe which reflected her advanced level of progression.

His guide led him to the outskirts of the heavenly city where God dwells, nestled at the base of a mountain. He saw from afar the immensity of the city with its beautiful domed spires. He felt the city's divinity and was told of the restrictions concerning who may enter it.

Larry was also shown other worlds and traveled among them. He was able to re-experience his conversation with his pre-mortal sweetheart just before their birth into mortality. One of his most intriguing encounters was with the council which eventually gave him permission to return to earth and resume his mortal life.

I Saw Heaven! is the true acocunt of one of the most imformative near-death experiences ever recorded. All who want to learn more of the next stage of their existence will be fascinated by the many insights and details it contains. It's a must-read book!

Resolved Question: Is it ok to drink beer in memory of a loved one?
A cowboy, who is visiting Wyoming from Texas, walks into a bar and orders three mugs of Bud. He sits in the back of the room, drinking a sip out of each one in turn. When he finishes them, he comes back to the bar and orders three more. The bartender approaches and tells the cowboy, 'You know, a mug goes flat after I draw it. It would taste better if you bought one at a time.' The cowboy replies, 'Well, you see, I have two brothers. One is in Arizona, the other is in Colorado. When we all left our home in Texas, we promised that we'd drink this way to remember the days when we drank together. So I'm drinking one beer for each of my brothers and one for myself.' The bartender admits that this is a nice custom, and leaves it there. The cowboy becomes a regular in the bar, and always drinks the same way. He orders three mugs and drinks them in turn. One day, he comes in and only orders two mugs. All the regulars take notice and fall silent. When he comes back to the bar for the second round, the bartender says, 'I don't want to intrude on your grief, but I wanted to offer my condolences on your loss.' The cowboy looks quite puzzled for a moment, then a light dawns in his eyes and he laughs. 'Oh, no, everybody's just fine,' he explains, 'It's just that my wife and I joined the Baptist Church and I had to quit drinking.' 'Hasn't affected my brothers though.' (more...)

Resolved Question: I want to attend college in Alaska but I doubt I would be able go home for the holidays which is a problem...?
What do you think I should do? I could go to college in Washington state or michigan but I'd much rather go up north to Alaska. I live in Colorado It costs around $1,000 per person for a plane ticket. I also would not be able to visit a college in Alaska because the ticket costs to much too do it. I have never been to Alaska but I come from a town (Boulder) with a real tree hugger culture which is what draws me to the 49th state. University of Alaska at Anchorage or University of Alaska southeast I still have 2.5 years until I get out of high school, and 1.5 years until it's time to start applying. Thanks (more...)

Resolved Question: When more than 40,000 showed up for free produce at a US farm, did that indicate how many Americans go hungry?
An estimated 40,000 people came to a Weld County farm Saturday to collect free potatoes, carrots and leeks. Cars snaked around cornfields and parallel parked along Colorado 66 and 119 early in the morning to get free food from the Miller family, who farm 600 acres outside of Platteville, about 37 miles north of Denver. As this prolonged Indian summer continued, the Millers had decided to give away produce because so much was left over at the end of their annual fall festival. Any day now, a few deep freezes would kill it off. They expected between 5,000 and 10,000 people spread out over a couple of days. Instead, they found themselves on Saturday morning inundated with cars and people with sacks and wagons and barrels ready to harvest whatever was available. The Millers canceled the second day of the giveaway originally planned for today because, as Chris Miller put it, "the pickins' are very slim now." At one point, 30 acres of family farmland had become a parking lot. Their crowd estimate of 40,000 plus was based on the number of cars. Sheriff's officials said they "wouldn't be surprised" if that count was accurate. Traffic was backed up almost to Interstate 25, and police ticketed people who had illegally abandoned their cars in the frenzy. "Overwhelmed is putting it mildly," Miller said. "People obviously need food." Evidently, Platteville isn't the only place where this is the case. Last week in Denver, thieves broke into freezers owned by the Park Hill Grandparents Organization and stole Thanksgiving trimmings ? including more than a dozen frozen turkeys ? set to be donated. And in Lakewood on Saturday, people lined up in the dark at 6 a.m. to collect Thanksgiving boxes, donated by the Jeffco Action Center. By the end of the day, 5,141 people had gotten food ? the biggest demand in 40 years. At the Miller Farm, it never got truly unruly. They had friends and family members help direct cars. Sheriff's deputies cruised up and down highways trying to move traffic along, after fielding complaints from neighbors. The family makes most of its money in the summer and fall, visiting 42 farmers markets a week, and hosting a fall festival where relatives charge an entry fee and then teach people about where their food comes from. Normally, any unpicked produce goes back to the land. But after hearing reports of food being stolen from some nearby churches, the Millers decided to let people take what they wanted for free. Sandra Justice, a Greeley resident who works at a technology company, brought her mother and son to pick potatoes. The price was nice, she said, but Justice also enjoyed picking her own food in these downtrodden times. "Everybody is so depressed about the economy," she said, noting she hauled off about 10 bags of vegetables. "This was a pure party. Everybody having a great time getting something for free." Resolved Question: Why do Democrats not understand the wealthy keep the rest of us employed?
Now, I was under the impression, because I listened to Senator Obama during the campaign, that he's only going to raise taxes on the rich, 'cause they've got it. They don't need it. They have more than they need. They can afford it. So he needs to raise taxes on the rich and cut taxes on the, quote, unquote, "middle class." So he wants economic recovery to bubble up from the bottom or whatever, which is very tough to do when you're at the bottom and you're broke. I don't know how you bubble anything up when you're broke, but that's not the point. I have a story here from AP-Obama, and it's about three Colorado ski resorts being "forced" to lay off workers. (gasping) It's from the Durango Herald. We read the Durango Herald every day here. It's part of our show prep rotation. (laughing) It might embarrass them so much they go out of business. "This ski season is shaping up to be the worst in years, said a Canadian ski-resort company that has announced it has laid off workers across a dozen resorts, including three in Colorado. Vancouver-based Intrawest Corp. hasn't said exactly how many workers it let go, but company officials say the weak economy is squeezing the ski business." Now, who is it that goes out to Colorado and skis? No, it's not the poor. The poor are working in the hotels. The poor are working in the restaurants, the, quote, unquote, poor. The poor are working at the ski resorts where the rich are not going because the economy is cutting into their disposable income and they think that they've got tax increases coming. "Colorado's Steamboat Ski & Resort, for example, is more than three hours by car from Denver. Because of that, most visitors fly in and stay several days, while smaller resorts closer to big cities have an easier time surviving a poor economy. 'They're not as dependent on out-of- state and international visitors,' Dave Belin, director at Boulder-based research firm RRC Associates, told the Rocky Mountain News. In a survey of skiers conducted online last month, RRC found that most skiers planned to ski as often as last year. But they planned to cut back in other ways -- on lodging, lessons and other extras such as traveling a long way to get to a ski mountain." See, I thought tax increases and other trivial income killers amounted to chump change to wealthy Americans. But this is what I told you, and this is the main reason I said we gotta support Senator McCain, in fact, because of his tax policy was right. Every time you hear Obama or some Democrat talking about raising taxes on the rich to help the little guy, it's the little guy that gets shafted, and this ski resort story is a classic example. So we have to take the wealthy down a notch or two. How could that hurt anybody? Why, that couldn't hurt anybody! We gotta take the wealthy down a notch or two. They give up a little chump change, Obama can spend it on welfare checks for those who don't pay income taxes, and life is good for everybody! Except raising taxes is not chump change to rich people. That was just Obama shooting his mouth off. It turns out when the wealthy are pummeled by bad economic news of any kind they pull back, too. Nothing is chump change, and so now they're going to visit ski resorts less. And when they, the people that pay the freight by going skiing go less or don't stay overnight in hotels and so forth the ski resorts, three of them owned by a Canadian firm, are laying off the little guy, the guy who's supposed to benefit from tax increases on the rich.
