Open Question: Messy divorce: claiming house question?
Two homes were bought during a 19 year marriage. The first home was sold and a second home was bought in 1998. However, a few years ago, the husband secretly sold it to his parents for a dollar, clearly a fraudulent transaction. Now his name is no longer on the house (the wife's name was never put on the house). The custody battle is coming up (the husband was abusive and there is proof) but the question is weather the house can still be claimed somehow even if a criminal trial would have to occur after the custody battle. The husband and wife are still living under the same roof as the husband refuses to leave and the wife has no money.
PS
The wife absolutely has the right to claim the house even if her name was not on it, if her husbands name was on it, she is completely entitled, that we know. The marriage had been deteriorating since the beginning so yes, he sold it while there was a breakdown in the marriage.
She has an attorney from a abuse clinic but the attorney is new and inexperienced and is unsure about what to do and is suggesting she move out to an apartment before the custody battle.

Open Question: Follow-up question...?
Some people keep going on and on about ?record cold temperatures.? It?s as if they don?t know the difference between weather and climate.
Well, I just wanted to ask, what?s up with all the record heat waves and all of the heavy/severe precipitation that has been occurring lately. Is this climate change or weather?

Open Question: what causes prolonged goosebumps?
I sometimes have prolonged goosebumps without any apparent reason. It first happened in a summer in a temperate climate so I thought it must be the hot weather. Then it happened in cold climate as well. And it occurs in a hot tropical climate also. Over the last 5 years I'm experiencing it, I noticed that it occurs both in hot and cold situations. I rule out fear, disease, stress, or music as causes because it happens even without any of these stimuli. And I'm not using any drugs or undergoing any medical treatment. Sometimes I go to sleep at night with goosebumps and sometimes I wake up in the morning with goosebumps. It usually last for hours and it is always a whole body thing, not just the arms, the neck or the legs. When it happens, my whole body ( which is relatively hairless) really looks like a plucked chicken.
I read that some people can control its appearance and disappearance at will. In my case, I don't have the control especially in its disappearance. When I get the goosey, I usually dip into a hot tub, or hot shower, sometimes it helps sometimes it doesn't.
I noticed also that even if the chilly feeling is gone, my skin still remains looking like a plucked chicken.
Does anybody have this symptom and what did you do about it?
thanks for any help..

Open Question: Is My Rain Boot Warranty Valid?
I recently bought these cougarsport knee high rain boots (with zippers) over the winter break, and only wore it four or five times in the snow. Within less than a month it started leaking and cracking. The rain boots came with a warranty that says:
"Materials are waterproof, durable, completely animal free....Cougar boots are guaranteed to resist leaks under normal weather for a period of six months from date of purchase. This warranty cannot be extended to laced openings or zippers or misuse, negligence.....etc.if leakage occurs please return boots with dated proof of purchase to dealer for replacement."
I'm just wondering if I qualify for a replacement or not, and whether I even have a shot at getting the company's attention (because it's such a hassle mailing the boots back to the manufacturers).
