I'm in an extremely stressed out mood, and I would appreciate some advice or at least some counseling on the matter. Let's start: My high school years have been miserable to say the least, with a few good moments here and there. So I just wanted to do something to go out on a bang with, and I did it in the form of wanting to compete in my school's battle of the bands. Therefore, I made a band roughly 2 months ago, and just when things were going great for the band, getting our cover and original for the battle of the bands ready, something always comes up that's determined by fate that screws up any chance of a practice. Maybe it's drama or some arguments with the parents of a band member that prevents any progress of the band. Or it's the drummer that gets grounded, so we can't even have a practice. People aren't doing what they should be, and therefore it seems like I'm the only one who's on track with everything, while every other member is learning the song wrong, didn't even bother to look at the rhythm, etc. It feels like I'm the manager, creative source, as well as the lead guitarist. I even shelled out almost $2k (my money made last summer) on a new guitar and amp. So I'm pissed to say the least that I won't have an opportunity to use them. I mean ever since I started this band, I've been playing guitar for hours on end on a daily basis. It's getting me into guitar, and I just want to get out of high school on a good note. It's like that show "Made" on MTV, which kids try to pursue a goal over 8 weeks or so. But there's no cameras following me, no one motivating me, and I'm the one paying for the equipment. I believe this is an admirable goal, but why does fate usually screw up anything I look forward to and pursue with ambition? I realize no one is going to read this, but it's a relief getting this off my chest. ***And please don't say just make a new band, because I only have 2.5 years of experience under my belt, and it is self taught, so I have little music theory knowledge to communicate with, and most other musicians in my school will feel I'm holding them back. This band is ideal, because the drummer is one of the best in the school, the bassist is the only one with a good voice, and the rhythm guitarist is terrible, but he's the only one with a decent practice space to play in, and I don't feel like I'm lagging behind. What is my silver lining? Sell back my equipment? I mean I don't want to take music in a professional direction, but it's something productive to do on the side in my free time instead of video games. As for talking to the parents, I really don't want to be involved in other family affairs, because it's not simply due to the drummer doing one bad thing and getting punished for it, but apparently it's much more complex than that. And when I do tell the other members to listen to one song repeatedly to get it down for next time, they tell me they do, but when we get a practice down, one person tells me they need more time to get the rhythm. The rhythm guitarist gives me good news and tells me he has this main riff and the breakdown memorized, but when he does it, it's total crap. I know his amp isn't upto par with mine, but he just doesn't play it well. I try to teach him little by little, but he doesn't really listen to what I'm telling to play. (more...)

I have a difficult situation involving my 4 year old daughter and her grandparents (my ex's parents). They have been constantly asking my daughter if she has been touched in inappropriate places and have since thrown accusations of such abuse towards my Fiance's family - himself included (24 yrs old); his 5 year old sister, and 9 year old brother, have all been accused of commiting physical acts towards my daughter. They come up with elaborate stories surrounding each incident, although when I question my daughter, I'm told that grandma and grandpa are telling stories and told her to say that they are true. I have repeatedly asked them to stop with the accusations, and also to stop asking my daughter questions she can't fully comprehend (and I'm afraid their questioning of her frequently might give her emotional problems in the future) and they continue to do so. My Fiance's family is worried of a backlash against the members in their family if this is pursued any further, they want to take legal action against the grandparents to make the accusations stop. Do they have grounds to do this? Also what can I do to put a stop to this to protect my child and my Fiance's family at the same time? I have no doubt in my mind that my daughter has never been treated badly physically, and believe that my ex's parents are attempting to build a case against me to prepare for a custody battle, which may be fueling these accusations towards my future husband, and brothers and sisters. Edit: The father has been out of the picture for many years. He joined the military over a year ago to avoid going to jail for unpaid child support (his parents paid over 3k back for him to enter service), and has had no relationship with his daughter during the past 4 years except when it was forced upon him by his parents. Doctors are unsure of the reason of death, but they suspect he died from physical fatigue by possibly falling of his horse near the Tangut battlegrounds. Born in Gobi near the Onon River in 1162, Genghis Khan was born into royalty; the son of Yesugei, the leader of the Yakka Mongols (meaning Great Mongol Clan). He was taught many things when he was young and was trained hard in the concepts of war and combat. He began his archery training at age four and herded and protected Mongolian camels and goats by age five. For fun, he would play polo with his brothers and sisters. By six, he as allowed to go on the Yearly Hunt?this hunt was very dangerous and important. It was known to train the young, male members of the clan skillful and fearless ways for future hunting and combat. He began his reign at age nine, when his father was poisoned and killed. Because of this harsh training, he became a strong warrior, conqueror, nomad and leader of his clan. He conquered many other tribes and led his people to victory and success through the most difficult times. Without him, Mongolia wouldn?t exist. Despite his difficult, but rewarding childhood, Temujin, or Genghis Khan conquered many other tribes in the area of Mongolia. Because all of these clans were under his reign he had united Mongolia. Anyone know a website that goes indebt about multiplayer issues with Galactic battleground saga. Me and friend can connect sometimes and other times we can't then when we start a game sometimes it lets us and other times it doesn't and when we are playing it disconnects us and then want let us connect at all anymore. I think it has to do with our IPs. How can we find our real IPs when we are behind a router. Tried myipcom but that still isnt the right one i think. Even took out the routers on both our systems and tried straight off the cable modems, that was a No go after the reboots were done any help on this would be nice. (more...)

The problem I?m having is that my little brother has epilepsy and the doctor has said he would have fewer seizures if he had a nap in the afternoons. He has more when he gets over tired. I can?t get him to take a nap at all; it?s a battle of wills. The other problem is that his sister bullies him about the epilepsy and has even hit him in the head purposefully. I?ve explained to her that is a very dangerous thing to do but she won?t listen. She also calls her brother names and gives him a hard time when he does go for a nap. She will also try and wake him up when he is sleeping. Talking to my parents isn't an option as neither of them have contact with the twins and won't in the foreseeable future because they were neglecting the twins. What can I do? I?ve tried grounding her, rewards charts, removing her favourite video games and Tv and spending time with her on her own when he is alseep. I?ve also tried time-outs and it just doesn?t work. I've tired explaining to my brother about why he needs to sleep and he understands that but I think the main problem is his sister. What should I do? (more...)

Me and my sons father have joint residency based on a court hearing three yearss ago. i wanted my son full time in a different area but his dad fought to keep him in the area we are from and won. I see him once during the week and weekends and his dad is meant to the rest of the time. The reality is, his dad hardly sees him and instead fobs him off with his mum on most nights! He lied in court to get joint custody of him and i was left helpless really as because my son does really well in school, the courts generally wont do anything! Ive just found out though that he is addicted to painkillers and has been in and out of hospital for the last 5 or 6 years with problems with his kidneys. I also found out, his own brother is taking him to court for fraud. he worked for him and used one of the company credit cards to buy personal items to the total of £2500!! Hes a liar, hes never had a proper job and is a complete bum and i think the above just shows what kind of person he is! Unfortunately though, his fiances family are very wealthy and so have supported him in our legal battles. I dont think i can afford to take him back to court but if i knew i had a strong case, i would definitelyt try! Im 27 and hes 30, we have never been married and my son is 9. I just wondered if the painkiller thing would be grounds to try and do something about the situation?? ill just add, we split up years agom this isnt some personal vendetta or to do whats right with me. Liek i said, he doesnt spend anytime with him and his own sister in law has admitted, the reason he didnt want me to have him in a different are (20 mins away) was to get at me because i spli up with him and he could never handle it.
