This is for those who are attending any University of Colorado school which would be the Boulder, Denver, or Colorado Springs location. What are the schools like and is the education worth while? I intend on transferring to UCCS since the people seem nice and I like their programs of study. However, I would like to know what others who attend there think? Open Question: Can I sue a company that has attempted to gather personal information over the phone?
Today I recieved 2 phone calls attempting to gather information from 2 seperate companies located in the Denver/Boulder Colorado area. These calls came within 10 minutes of each other. My cousin and I are thinking of moving to the Denver area after we graduate in may. We are early-mid 20s, she will be a nurse and I will be an optometrist. I have been to denver and boulder before, but am not totally familiar with the area. We are looking for somewhere safe and young and fun, not too expensive, but we can afford something nice. OK so i applied to CU denver only , i did not apply to CU boulder but after i submitted my app they sent me an e-mail that says We have received your online application and we thank you for your interest in CU-Boulder. In the next several days, we will mail a letter containing personal information and instructions on how to check your status online. Due to security concerns, we cannot release this information over e-mail. If you need to correct any information, do not submit another application, as this will delay processing. Instead, call our office at 303-492-6301. If you chose to submit your application to the Denver and/or Colorado Springs campuses of the University of Colorado, your application was also submitted to those locations. Resolved Question: When the heat tape burns out, can I replace just the top plug part?
My pipes are frozen (woo-hoo! 15 below in Colorado!). I got someone to come over and look at the heat tape. Basically, it is plugged into an outlet, a 3 foot cord runs to a little junction thingy (don't know what it is), and then into the tape itself. It is supposedly 2 years old (I'm beginning to question everything the seller ever told us, though, so it could be older?). We used a little gadget to see if electric current was running through. It was running through the 3 foot length of cord, but not out the other side of the 'junction thingy.' SO: Can I replace the faulty 'junction thingy' (fuse??) or do I need to pull all the tape off and start over? Also, any suggestions on the best way to get this done? (Best product, someone in the Denver/Boulder area that would do it, etc.) Thanks to all. It sounds like it might be the step-down transformer. I cannot open it - it is sealed in a thick, clear plastic. Can I replace that? (more...)
