Raw Deal
Raw Deal A by-the-numbers action flick featuring a stern Arnold Schwarzenegger, Raw Deal has all the traditional traits of the genre. Schwarzenegger is a disgraced former FBI agent who winds up as sheriff of a backwater Southern town. He is given a chance to reclaim his job when the head of the Bureau offers him reinstatement if he'll go undercover to capture the mob boss responsible for killing his son. Schwarzenegger must get close enough to gain the trust of the gangster without being discovered as a mole, while gathering enough evidence to take him down. One of Schwarzenegger's early films, in which he honed his persona, Raw Deal offers up the usual quotient of gun battles and tough talk, with a trace of self-deprecating humor from its star, making it reasonably worthwhile entertainment. --Robert Lane

Open Question: Who says that the world supports Hamas?
In Paris, approximately 12,000 demonstrators waved Israeli flags and sang Jewish songs near the Israeli embassy on Sunday,January,5 Also on Sunday, 600 Jewish and other Australians converged on the steps of Parliament to condemn Hamas and support Israel's war on the terror organization, which has seized total political and military control of the Gaza region. Several demonstrations of support have also taken place throughout the United States, including a 500-person rally in Tucson, Arizona on Sunday, and a rally in Sarasota, Florida featuring former U.S. Justice Department Prosecutor John Loftus Many more rallies will be attended by Israel-supporters throughout the United States and Canada in the coming days, as Israel continues its efforts to weed out the rocket-wielding jihadists who have attacked Israeli civilians in the past several years with thousands of rockets and mortars. Resolved Question: Now that the News about our new currency called the "Amero" is a reality, do you still trust the Uncle Sam ?
Don't get me wrong. I have never even really considered traveling outside of the US and so I love being an American but when I step back and look at the big picture, I remain in disbelief. Tell me what you think and I'll provide you with a small list of the things that are mind numbing to me. Please, let's not get into an argument over left or right winged or "Not all of that is totally True" statements. Instead, if many of these are truths, doesn't it seem ridiculous or at least, explain why many people stead fastly deny the possibilities? (1) The Federal Reserve and IRS that have illegally altered each of our lives including the confiscation of the countries gold (1920's) that legally belonged to US citizens, Depressions & Stock Market Crashes and Taxes that are Unconstitutional. (2) Pearl Harbor, Vietnam, The Lusitania Sinking...etc. Either allowing a War to begin or even creating a situation for War where people are mercilessly slaughtered. (3) The people that 'We' hire for Political office live luxurious lives while "We" struggle. Continually violate laws that would certainly result in "Our" being jailed for ever including bribery, extortion, lying to Congress, Embezzling "Our" money. voter fraud and worse. Like a bad dream, we cannot even fire them even if they bankrupt "All" of us while they get richer and have benefits for life. (4) For over 200 years, we have been left in the dark and what we are told, may or may not be true. Sorta like a guy hired to deliver Pizza's that arbitrarily decides to start serving chicken but never informs his boss or disquises chicken as pizza. We have always been a country divided by the political parties that, without exception and no matter which party is voted in will always seem to screw up one thing or another and blame it on the other side. (5) Anyone remember Osama Bin Laden ? I'd bet avery dime I will make for the rest of my life that if a citizen tried to blow up the White House and then caught a Magic Carpet headed for Aladdin, it wouldn't be far enough. This dude gets forgotten and may possible be friends with our President? (6) The Denver Mint casting 800 Billion Amero's that are shipped to a Chinese holding company because they are carrying 3 Trillion dollars in American Debt in preparation of the Dollars collapse and Poverty for Everyone except the people "We" hired that refuse to warn to public. I'm sorry but I just cannot stop scratching my head at just how insane it all seems. If my Dog 'Peed' on my foot every time he came into the house or ate my supper and then bit me for good measure...he would fast become someone elses Dog and certainly not a companion that I'd proudly walk the streets with. Anyone else having trouble understanding it all ? Many thanks for that wish of a soggy foot but this is not to be for my dog understands the method with which his nourishment is delivered. With respect to my delay for complaining. On the contrary my friend, From the roof of every tall building and as far back as the late 1960's, I have challenged the way this Rodeo is being presented to the public. The first stunning revelation I was to learn was in the requiring permission from the Government if ever a need for a suit was in order. That "bump" remains on my head until this very day ! Hello to "The Real Shaz." Your wish is my command. Type Google Videos in your search bar and after arriving at Google, simply type { The Amero Currency } into the search bar and allow Google to provide them for you to review. The information that really stuck with me came from a fellow named Hal Turner who is a long...or I should say "Was" a long time Radio personality. Really, once you view the Hal Turner clip on Google/YouTube for yourself I imagine you will find yourself a bit stunned as well. There are many more video references on the subject and from quite a few resources but all are accessible tat Google. (more...)

Resolved Question: Did you know that McCain opposed laws that would punish domestic terrorists?
Now, I'm not one who would say this makes him a terrorist, but it sure does make him a hypocrit. McCain has repeatedly voted against protecting Americans from domestic terrorists in the anti-choice movement. On multiple occasions throughout his career, McCain sought to limit the government?s ability to punish violent anti-choice fanatics by: ? Voting against making anti-choice violence a federal crime. As the Jed Report notes, McCain voted in 1993 and 1994 against making ?bombings, arson and blockades at abortion clinics, and shootings and threats of violence against doctors and nurses who perform abortions? federal crimes. ? Opposing Colorado?s ?Bubble Law.? McCain said he opposed Colorado?s ?Bubble Law,? which prohibited abortion protesters from getting within 8 feet of women entering clinics [Denver Post, 2/27/00]. The law was later upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court. ? Voting to allow those fined for violence at clinics to avoid penalties by declaring bankruptcy. NARAL Pro-Chioce America notes that McCain ?voted to allow perpetrators of violence or harassment at reproductive-health clinics to avoid paying the fines assessed against them for their illegal acts by declaring bankruptcy.? http://thinkprogress.org/2008/10/06/mccain-abotion-bombers/ (more...)

Resolved Question: Why has the press NOT covered the alleged FORGED Obama birth certificate issue? Details below:?
There is a suit pending in a Philadelphia Federal Court challenging the birth certificate of Barack Obama as a FORGERY, contending he is NOT a natural born citizen of the United States. What are your thoughts ? Details below: Berg vs. Obama, Civil Action No. 08-cv-4083. THURSDAY, AUGUST 21, 2008 Obama Sued in Philadelphia Federal Court on Grounds he is Constitutionally Ineligible for the Presidency by Jeff Schreiber A prominent Philadelphia attorney and Hillary Clinton supporter filed suit this afternoon in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Illinois Sen. Barack Obama and the Democratic National Committee. The action seeks an injunction preventing the senator from continuing his candidacy and a court order enjoining the DNC from nominating him next week, all on grounds that Sen. Obama is constitutionally ineligible to run for and hold the office of President of the United States. Phillip Berg, the filing attorney, is a former gubernatorial and senatorial candidate, former chair of the Democratic Party in Montgomery (PA) County, former member of the Democratic State Committee, and former Deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania. According to Berg, he filed the suit--just days before the DNC is to hold its nominating convention in Denver--for the health of the Democratic Party. "I filed this action at this time," Berg stated, "to avoid the obvious problems that will occur when the Republican Party raises these issues after Obama is nominated.". Berg cited a number of unanswered questions regarding the Illinois senator's background, and in today's lawsuit maintained that Sen. Obama is not a naturalized U.S. citizen or that, if he ever was, he lost his citizenship when he was adopted in Indonesia. Berg also cites what he calls "dual loyalties" due to his citizenship and ties with Kenya and Indonesia. Even if Sen. Obama can prove his U.S. citizenship, Berg stated, citing the senator's use of a birth certificate from the state of Hawaii verified as a forgery by three independent document forensic experts, the issue of "multi-citizenship with responsibilities owed to and allegiance to other countries" remains on the table. In the lawsuit, Berg states that Sen. Obama was born in Kenya, and not in Hawaii as the senator maintains. Before giving birth, according to the lawsuit, Obama's mother traveled to Kenya with his father but was prevented from flying back to Hawaii because of the late stage of her pregnancy, "apparently a normal restriction to avoid births during a flight." As Sen. Obama's own paternal grandmother, half-brother and half-sister have also claimed, Berg maintains that Stanley Ann Dunham--Obama's mother--gave birth to little Barack in Kenya and subsequently flew to Hawaii to register the birth. Berg cites inconsistent accounts of Sen. Obama's birth, including reports that he was born at two separate hospitals--Kapiolani Hospital and Queens Hospital--in Honolulu, as well a profound lack of birthing records for Stanley Ann Dunham, though simple "registry of birth" records for Barack Obama are available in a Hawaiian public records office. Should Sen. Obama truly have been born in Kenya, Berg writes, the laws on the books at the time of his birth hold that U.S. citizenship may only pass to a child born overseas to a U.S. citizen parent and non-citizen parent if the former was at least 19 years of age. Sen. Obama's mother was only 18 at the time. Therefore, because U.S. citizenship could not legally be passed on to him, Obama could not be registered as a "natural born" citizen and would therefore be ineligible to seek the presidency pursuant to Article II, Section 1 of the United States Constitution. Moreover, even if Sen. Obama could have somehow been deemed "natural born," that citizenship was lost in or around 1967 when he and his mother took up residency in Indonesia, where Stanley Ann Dunham married Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian citizen. Berg also states that he possesses copies of Sen. Obama's registration to Fransiskus Assisi School In Jakarta, Indonesia which clearly show that he was registered under the name "Barry Soetoro" and his citizenship listed as Indonesian. The Hawaiian birth certificate, Berg says, is a forgery. In the suit, the attorney states that the birth certificate on record is a forgery, has been identified as such by three independent document forensic experts, and actually belonged to Maya Kasandra Soetoro, Sen. Obama's half-sister. "Voters donated money, goods and services to elect a nominee and were defrauded by Sen. Obama's lies and obfuscations," Berg stated. "If the DNC officers ... had performed one ounce of due diligence we would not find ourselves in this emergency predicament, one week away from making a person the nominee who has lost their citizenship as a child and failed to even perform the basic steps of regaining citizenship as prescribed by constitutional laws." "It is unfair to the (more...)

Resolved Question: Do you think McCain's makeup is worth the 5,000 dollars he has paid his makeup artisit?
Article excerpt: John McCain, whose ads skewer Barack Obama for his "celebrity" status, has his own close ties to show business, the new issue of Us Weekly reports exclusively. The 72-year-old was recently made TV-ready by makeup artist Tifanie White who's worked on So You Think You Can Dance and American Idol. McCain paid the 2002 beauty-school grad $5,583.43 for her services, according to the Federal Election Commission. See photos of John McCain and Sarah Palin on the campaign trail. In August, the New York Post reported that the neoclassical set built in Denver for Obama's convention acceptance speech was designed by the same team that worked on Britney Spears' last tour. The first presidential debate between McCain and Obama airs Friday night. (more...)

Resolved Question: This is a clearly partisan document...?
that follows, but facts are facts. This statement makes anyone with a disability who votes for McCain seem to disregard the rights entirely for people with disabilities. Using examples related to disability and only disability - can you give examples of why a person who is a disability advocate should vote for John McCain??? BARACK OBAMA VS. OBAMA ON SUPPORT FOR LIVING INDEPENDENTLY IN THE COMMUNITY Obama is a co-sponsor of the Community Choice Act of 2007. Obama believes that individuals should be able to make their own choices for their living arrangements and live independently in their communities. [S.799, 110th Congress] Obama is a co-sponsor of the Community Living Assistance Services and Support (CLASS) Act Of 2007. This bill would help individuals with functional impairments pay for services that they need to maximize their independence. [S.1758, 110th Congress] MCCAIN ON SUPPORT FOR LIVING INDEPENDENTLY IN THE COMMUNITY McCain strongly opposes the Community Choice Act. Asked about the Community Choice Act at a Town Hall in Denver, McCain said ?The Community Choice Act is not a piece of legislation that I support.? [McCain Town Hall, 7/7/08] OBAMA ON EDUCATION FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES Barack Obama supports full funding of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), early intervention and developmental programs, and expanded college opportunities for students with disabilities. Obama voted for over $44 billion in funding for the IDEA. [SCR 1, Senate Vote #94, 3/22/07] Obama will invest $10 billion per year in early intervention, educational and developmental programs for children between zero and five. His plan will help expand programs such as Early Head Start to serve more children with disabilities. His plan also will encourage states to expand programs for children with disabilities, such as IDEA Part C. [Obama Plan to Empower Americans with Disabilities] Obama supports increasing opportunities for college students with disabilities. He also will provide more support for these college students. Obama was an original co-sponsor of the Senate bill to reauthorize the Higher Education Act (S. 1642) which significantly expands opportunities and supports for individuals with disabilities to attend college and graduate programs. [S.1642, 110th Congress] MCCAIN ON EDUCATION FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES John McCain has repeatedly voted against the IDEA even though he claims he supports full funding of it. McCain has repeatedly voted against funding for special education. * McCain repeatedly voted against funding increases for the IDEA. [H.R.4577, Senate Vote #170, 6/30/00; SCR 23, Senate Vote #103, 3/26/03] * McCain has chosen tax cuts for the wealthy over education funding for students with disabilities. Specifically, McCain voted against increasing spending in the amount of $229 billion over 10 years for the IDEA. McCain also voted against an amendment that would create a reserve fund of $73 billion in IDEA funding. The spending would have been made possible by reducing tax cuts. [SCR 23, Senate Vote #103, 3/26/03; SCR 23, Senate Vote #70, 3/21/03] McCain did not co-sponsor reauthorization of the Higher Education Act (S. 1642). He also did not vote on passage of the reauthorization of the Higher Education Act in the 110th Congress. [S.1642, 110th Congress; S. 1642, Senate Vote #275, 7/24/07] OBAMA ON SOCIAL SERVICES SPENDING Obama opposes a freeze on social services spending for people with disabilities. Obama voted against capping non-defense spending which means that social service spending for people with disabilities could continue to meet their needs. In 2005, Obama voted against the Inhofe amendment that would cap non-defense, non-trust fund spending. While that top-to-bottom review is underway, we will institute a one-year pause in discretionary spending increases with the necessary exemption of military spending and veterans? benefits.? [McCain Remarks on the Economy at Carnegie Mellon University, 4/15/08] OBAMA ON HEALTH CARE FOR AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES Obama will sign universal health care into law by the en Your Biblical values and my moral values are in direct conflict. McCain returned from the POW camp and his wife who had become disabled and quickly divorced her. He is against abortion for any reason what-so-ever, even if the mother of several existing children is raped would be risking her life to carry a pregnancy. He supports increasing the military budget while evaluating our spending, but keep all budgets that support people in need exactly the same. He refused to support an act that will give people choices about where they live that costs not one penny more. He is against so many things that to me seem to be the epitomy of what Christianity should be about. GLBT rights afford people rights - they deny no one their rights. YOUR Bible see homosexuality as a sin - ALL Bibles do not. This is not a country based on religious law. It is a secular country. Gay rights are secular rights. Don't allow gays in your church or to marry in your church - that is your right. But we have created an underclass of people who love and care for each other who are not afforded the same legal, contractual rights as other people. We deprive children of gay families safeguards that other children take for granted. Keep your religion at home - I don't want it in my government. This country was founded on the concept of religious freedom - the freedom to practice religion - whatever religion one chooses or not. All Christians do not agree with you PWD. http://www.uua.org/visitors/justicediversity/6252.shtml I think religious intolerance (like you express) is the source of everything evil in the world. McCain voted in favor of capping non-defense spending. In 2005, McCain voted for the Inhofe amendment that would cap non-defense and non-trust fund spending. [S.1932, Senate Vote #286, 11/3/05] McCain proposed a freeze of discretionary spending as illustrated when he said, ?As president, I will also order a prompt and thorough review of the budgets of every federal program, department, and agency. While that top-to-bottom review is underway, we will institute a one-year pause in discretionary spending increases with the necessary exemption of military spending and veterans? benefits.? [McCain Remarks on the Economy at Carnegie Mellon University, 4/15/08] OBAMA ON HEALTH CARE FOR AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES Obama will sign universal health care into law by the en end of his first term in office, and he has supported expanding the State Children's Health Insurance Program (?SCHIP?) and health care programs for people with disabilities, children, and veterans. Under Obama?s plan to provide universal health insurance, insurance companies will not be able to stop individuals from getting coverage even if they have pre-existing conditions and disabilities. Obama?s plan allows individuals and businesses to purchase public or private health coverage through a national health insurance exchange. Obama?s plan would make health care more affordable and accessible to all Americans, particularly individuals who have been denied coverage in the private market due to a pre-existing condition or disability. [Obama Plan to Empower Individuals with Disabilities] Obama is a co-sponsor of ending the Medicare Waiting Period Act of 2007 (S.2102). Before they can get Medicare coverage, people with disabilities must first receive Social Security Disabilit Insurance (SSDI) for 24 months. Due to the 24-month Medicare waiting period, an estimated 400,000 Americans with disabilities are uninsured and many more are underinsured at a time in their lives when they need health coverage the most. During this waiting period, many individuals develop secondary conditions, their health status worsens and many die. Obama supports legislation that would phase out this harmful waiting period and provide individuals with health insurance. [S.2102, 110th Congress] Obama supported expanded health insurance for children. In 2007, Obama voted to reauthorize the SCHIP at over $60 billion for five years. Two children who live with a single parent who makes $51,510 would have access to health insurance coverage under SCHIP. The bill would provide $100 million in new grants to fund state outreach and enrollment efforts and allocate $49 million for a demonstration project to streamline the enrollment process for low-income children already eligible for for coverage. [HR 976, Senate Vote #307, 8/2/07] Obama supported assuring accessible health care to people with disabilities by co-sponsoring the Promoting Wellness for Individuals with Disabilities Act (S.1050) The bill would require the U.S. Access Board to establish access standards for all diagnostic equipment (examination tables, x-ray, mammography and other radiological equipment, etc.). It also educates physicians and dentists by requiring that medical schools, dental schools, and their residency programs provide training to improve competency and clinical skills in providing care to patients with disabilities (including those with intellectual disabilities) as a condition of receiving federal funds. Finally, it establishes a national wellness grant program which will authorize funding for programs or activities for smoking cessation, weight control, nutrition or fitness that are tailored to the needs of individuals with disabilities and authorize funding for preventive There is much more to this......but MrKP Disability legislation may not need to be your only consideration, but it is primarily mine and of most people with disabilities I know. I'd like to see a balanced view, but to date McCain or his campaign has not addressed disability issues. I was trying to give McCain's camp the opportunity to level the playing field before I wrote something up in an article I have been asked to write. Gem - You think you cannot afford all these government programs, but you can't afford not to have them. Because we do not have universal health care our health care costs cost more. People without insurance do not get preventive health care and so end up in emergency rooms getting far more long term expensive care than they would have if they had been able to go to a doctor regularly. Sway - The Community Choice Act doesn't cost more dollars. It puts the choice of how to spend dollars in an individual's hands. If a senior gets 100,000 a year in benefits they can choose to take their 100,000 to a nursing home or receive care at home. Now people are forced into nursing homes as their are given no options. At home care rarely costs more than nursing home care and usually substantially less. http://www.experthomecare.com/blog/2008/05/home-care-costs-vs-nursing-home/ (more...)

Resolved Question: Do lefties believe that all Northwesterners are racist, sexist, homophobes, or just Sarah Palin?
Here's the article...I'm not from the northwest, but if I was, I'd be offended: http://www.philly.com/inquirer/opinion/20080914_Intolerance_thrives_in_Palin_s_Pacific_Northwest.html From the article: Other groups, like the Aryan Nation, with headquarters in Hayden Lake, Idaho, actively planned to rid the United States of African Americans, Jews, and other "non-Aryan" peoples. A few carried out their plans, murdering Jewish radio host Alan Berg in Denver, the Goldmark family in Seattle, an African American state trooper in Arkansas, Fish and Wildlife officials and FBI agents in Wyoming, North Dakota and Montana, and more than 160 federal employees and their children in Oklahoma City. There is no evidence that Palin was ever affiliated with white-supremacist groups during her years in Idaho or at home in Alaska. On the other hand, the beliefs of ultraconservative, evangelical churches like her family's come dangerously close to those of the Christian Identity movement of those years. Likewise, Palin's husband was a member of a political party whose members favored secession for Alaska, suggesting an affiliation with radical antistatism. (more...)

Resolved Question: Patriotism Obama Style: Let's dump Old Glory in a Landfill?
Obama?s mentor, the unrepentant domestic terrorist, Bill Ayers had a picture taken where he was stomping on The Flag. http://www.chicagomag.com/Chicago-Magazine/August-2001/No-Regrets/ The Denver post published a report about how the 12,000 flags would have been disposed off as unceremoniously as can be. http://www.allamericanblogger.com/3643/democrats-trash-12000-american-flags-republicans-recycle-them/ Republicans reported that a worker at Invesco Field in Denver saved thousands of unused flags from the Democratic National Convention that were headed for the garbage. Guerrilla campaigning. They will use these flags at their own event today in Colorado Springs with John McCain and Sarah Palin. Before McCain spoke at an event, veterans hauled these garbage bags filled with flags out onto the stage ? with dramatic effect, no doubt ? and tell the story. U.S Federal Code, Title 8, Section 4 deals with respect for the flag, obviously Obama could care less about mundane stuff like this: (more...)
