Open Question: Does anyone know of room for 8 with hot tub?
My sister is having her hen weekend in May 2009. We were thinking of centre parcs as she'd like a chilled out spa weekend and a chalet for the 8 of us to stay together. However for one with a bit of luxury (hot tub etc) costs about £1500 between us which is a bit much to ask her friends to pay! I think about £100 each would be fair Does anyone know of somewhere that would feel special for her and 7 friends preferably around East Anglia/London?

Then on the last day when she is at the spa she discovers a dead womans body in a hot tub. The woman happens to be the wife of a powerful wealthy guy. Now I dont know where to go next with the story. Can someone give me some suggestions or something to get me thinking please? I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance! Oh and the main setting for my plot is set in Los Angeles if that helps any.

I'm going to be visiting in April and would like to stay at a really nice hotel-somewhere with a gym, pool, spa, and possibly a view of the city and that's more on the luxury side. I don't want to stay at a chain like the W or the Marriot but somewhere that has the New Orleans "feel" to it. Thanks!

Resolved Question: I'm thinking filing for bankruptcy! do you think I should do it or not?
I am 33 years old single female.I have no children. I live alone. I pay rent in my small apt. I still owe my car. My debt is right now $60k and is increasing every month because of the interest. Debt its in credit cards and medical bills. I'm a licensed massage therapist and I've tried to work in lots of spas but all of them are terribly slow. The most of the days there are no clients. Now I work daytime in 2 spas and nighttime with private clients. But not everyday I have clients either daytime or nighttime.I don't work with a doctor because I make less money than what I can make in spas and on my own. My income right now is around $30k annual with a debt of $60 that's its increasing each month. My lines of credit have been reduced, now I'm only paying the minimum amount and without enough credit available to spend. I am getting physically very sick (which affects my job) and mentally very depressed because of this. I have never being late in any credit card bill, but I will be very soon because the minimum payments will be higher and impossible to pay. I don't care if I have to pay rent the rest of my life. I just want to be peaceful and pay my basic bills, live in an apt, keep my furniture, my tv and my car. I don't have luxury and I don't care about luxury. I have known a lot of people that in 3 years they have built a great credit after a bankruptcy.And I know I can build it up again well someday.I have a friend that 2 years after filing for BK, start receiving tons of credit cards offers. I know that the economy it's too bad, that millions of people are filing for bankruptcy and the banks make money from interest so sooner or later will offer credit and loans because they won't have any other choice. About consolidating debt, I have to cancel my credit cards but still paying monthly payments. It's what almost I'm doing right now, paying but not be able to spend! so what's the difference? that I'll be in the newspaper, not being able to buy a house, not getting credit cards for the next couple of years? I don't think that's too bad.I can live with that. What I can't live is with stress, being sick, being depressed, not sleeping well, not eating well because I have to work so hard to pay a huge debt!! So, what would you do in my case? I would do it if I can pay off my debt in just one year!! but in the track I'm going, the debt will be almost doubled and will be impossible to pay it even in 3 years! And I can work my ass off, but is not only in my hands to do it, the economy is BAD, and in my job, everywhere I look is BAD, so it's not only depending if I work my ass off or not! I prefer to be embarrased the rest of my life of filed for BK instead of being embarrased because I was sued from my creditors and having all my belongings (like car) repossesed, and being almost homeless! I don't know why it's so important for some people to own a house. I can live paying rent, I prefer investing in something more valuable than that, like education and good health.

Resolved Question: Would you stay at this hotel in Dubai?
It is in Dubai, if 5 stars and is the only Arabian style hotel in Dubai. Also, it has the largest swimming pool of Dubai, plus many other medium sized pools in the summerhouses. It is linked with the Burj Al Arab, the worlds best hotel with 7 stars, and also the Jumeirah beach. The 3 hotels were all built by the same group. They are all on the beautiful beaches. In total, there are 63 restaurants, a spa, theatre and shopping centres.

Good for you, Fizz. We are still considering the Burj Al Arab, and you did not answer the question. The Jumeirah beach our cousins stayed in, and it wasn't very good according to them, and does not appeal. We could end up in the Burj, but are considering other possibilites, ok love?

The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A death! What's that, a bonus?!? I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, get it out of the way. The you go live in an old age home. You get kicked out for being too healthy, go collect your pension, then, when you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day. You work forty years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement. You drink alcohol, you party, and you get ready for High School. You go to primary school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a little boy(girl), you go back, you spend your last 9 months floating with luxuries like central heating, spa, room service on tap, then you finish off as an orgasm!!

There was a woman who spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on building a house for her two dogs. The house has luxury items such as spas, a 52 inch plasma screen, doors that when you look at them, they open.
Don't you think that this is ridiculous and this person should've given at least some money to charity? What comments do you have on this? Please answer! x

Resolved Question: Wrong to leave an infant for 7 hours?
Hi,
So my boyfriend and I will be visiting my family in Hawaii and we are getting a kick a*s room at a luxury 5 star hotel (Hilton Waikoloa). We are taking a trip to the Big Island from the island of Oahu just the two of us and our son for 3 nights. Then we will be returning to Oahu. I don't know anyone or have family on the Big Island so I am interested in hiring a babysitter to stay in the hotel room with our son for 7 hours. The hotel will provide a babysitter. The resort has a spa and dolphins and snorkeling and waterslides and waterfall caves with jacuzzi tubs hidden in them and so many other cool things. I wanted my finacee and I to be able to enjoy for 1 day which will not be possible with an infant.
You can't ride a waterslide carrying an infant and you can't snorkel with an infant and go through pounding waterfalls or sit in 105 degree hot tubs with an infant. I badly want to hire a babysitter to stay with our son for 7 hours and my fiancee is totally 100% against it. We will be on hotel grounds half the time and then maybe go to the beach and dinner the other half.
Our son is not even born yet (we will be going on the trip when our son is about 6 months old) and he has made it clear to me I am going to be a stay at home mom until our son is in school and that our son is never ever to be left with anyone other than a family member or very close and trusted friend. Which means no babysitters ever. I am glad to be a stay at home mom but the no babysitter EVER policy seems strict to me.
He said it is wrong and a very bad idea and I don't share his feelings. I feel that because it is a sitter the hotel will provide it seems safe. I do not feel mean about it either because it will litterally be his very first time ever being without me or his father or his grandmothers. It will probably be one of our only chances to have that nice time in a luxury hotel because the trip and hotel are a gift from family. Not something we could ever afford otherwise.
Do you think that it is mean and dangerous to leave a young infant with a sitter for 7 hours or do you feel he is overreacting? Opinions would be appriciated. Thanks!!!
to above person, he will not be alone for 7 hours, of course with a sitter. I just meant alone with a sitter. And it is not damn close to child abuse to leave any child alone it IS child abuse and I'd never do that.
